What do you do when you leave hell and plan on living it up on Earth? Obviously, you embrace it and become the absolute poster child of a rich bachelor—penthouse apartment, partying, womanizing.
Having worked myself to a position where money is no longer a concern, I unleash my inner demon by indulging in every earthly delight.
That was until she came into my life.
Charlotte is beautiful, but that isn’t what draws me to her. Something about her is a compulsion I can’t resist, a stimulant that awakens the demon within.
Seeing the darkness behind my eyes, Charlotte doesn’t run but instead presses to know more. She can play all my games, but I know she aches for my touch. She resists the attraction out of fear of losing her job, her reputation, and herself to this mysterious allure that draws us together.
Then there is that ever-present intrigue lingering under her skin. A buried truth I’m sure I can solve if I can have her with me.
Under me...
So, what’s a demon to do?
*
Can Frank convince Charlotte to give in to dark temptation? Or will she become the one earthly pleasure he can never indulge in?
Stefanie Dawn summons deliciously devious demons you can’t help fall in love with, and journeys to out of this world planets where alluring aliens will convince you to stay and live happily ever after.
Her characters (and the monster peen you'll discover along the way) will have you questioning your morality and screaming your safe word.
When this chaos-gremlin isn’t creating fantasy romance stories with a helping of extra spice, Stefanie loses herself in reading and watching movies, and would like everyone to appreciate the level of willpower it takes her to not spout obscure movie references few are likely to understand.
On a casual Sunday you'll find her crocheting phallic shaped toys, and summoning demons in the kitchen while sipping a cocktail.

The Demon in Me was an intriguing read. The title alone was luring, but the story was one that had me at Charlotte and Frank's first encounter. This story is a paranormal one that focuses on demons. It's a story right up my alley actually. The way the story was woven together had me trying to guess what would happen at every twist and turn. It's a story that keeps to pondering. There were a lot of interesting things about the world I wanted to learn about that wasn't fully addressed, like the angels existence or even if other stronger demons were able to come in an attempt to take Mike and Frank back. I was also curious about a few things about Charlotte, but I won't speak on them as it might cause spoilers. Anyway, this story was a quick read for me. That's how I know it was a fascinating one if you are into paranormal romance stories.
I received a free copy for an honest review. I really enjoyed this read. It was one of the most well done "instant" loves that I've read in awhile. I thought it was sexy but a bit on the darker side. I plan to read more from this author. My only real criticism is the ebook formatting in Kindle. It had large amounts of space between some words and some words were broken up between lines in odd ways. This made it really hard for me to read but I'm glad I kept reading!
This was one of the best “instant love” stories I’ve read. A paranormal romance with tension that bursts from the pages. This is a quick read that was impossible to put down. The author wove a tale that kept you intrigued with every page and I am counting the days until the next book!
This is a unique paranormal demon romance that took me by surprise. I'm a big fan of Stefanie's and so when I saw this book I had to nab it.
The FMC in this starts off as leaving a particularly bad/toxic relationship and moving to another city to start over, getting a job in the industry she wants to have a future in.
This is where she meets the playboy billionaire CEO who also happens to be a demon. He's pulled to her immediately and has to force himself to be a good boy...until he can't anymore.
The spice is lovely between these two, an electric current of need and want between them and they finally give in. Frank is not so great with understanding human emotions and Charlotte has enough backbone to stand up for herself and not let him bully her. I absolutely loved this especially since she had been bullied by men her whole life.
𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆.
All is not what it seems though and when Frank discovers why he's pulled to her the way he is, he must decide if he will spill all his secrets and save her, or if he'll walk away.
I loved it! Not only was the story itself impossible to put down, but the character development was wonderful! While this is a paranormal romance, which means it contains a certain amount of creative freedom, the characters were believable and relatable in every way. As their connection grew, so did they, I loved getting to know them. Both were a perfect combination of vulnerable yet strong. Charlotte stood her ground when she needed, and Frank established dominance when he wanted to, but he was also compassionate. He was easy to fall in love with, but it was his compassion that sealed the deal for me. Although he felt the need to make her his, he wanted it to be her choice. Their desire for each other was captivating to say the least. The story was filled with moments of love and lust, and balancing those feelings was brought out wonderfully. The moment he realized what truly happened in her past, and how he was able to guide her through it was incredible. I found this book completely addictive! I can't wait to read more by Stefanie! The Angel in her is set to release next month!
This was a good read! And since I love demons it totally worked.
Charlotte and Frank were super great together. Frank the demon 😈 confident, broody, sexy, alluring, rich playboy-ish. Charlotte the human💃 wounded, dealing with past issues, confident, goal oriented.
Charlotte goes to work for Frank as his assistant and the spark begins. They basically dance around eachother before they FINALLY learn more and end up giving in. It was a sloooooow burn with lots of electricity and chemistry.
I enjoyed the story, but gave it a 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ total because I really felt like it was drawn out for no reason. The book is wordy and had a lot of extra stuff that I personally didn't think was necessary. Other than this... everything was great. Story 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice 4🌶🌶🌶🌶 Characters MF 4 ❤❤❤❤
I definitely recomend this book 📖 especially if you are a fellow demon lover.
The Demon in Me is an instant love, demon/human romance if you are into these tropes. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. I quite enjoyed the intimate scenes and the relationship development between Frank and Charlotte. What was lacking for me however was the character development of Frank. I wanted to know more about him, his backstory and how he got to where he is. With Charlotte, we get to understand quite early on her insecurities and what she has been through, although I would have like to have seen a bit more development of her witty side. I don’t mind Stefanie’s style of writing. It is very to the point and there isn’t a lot of waffle. It is definitely a quick read and an easy one. Overall, a enjoyable read.
I loved this story about Charlotte and demon Frank. This is something missing from Charlotte's childhood memories. Something which has been hidden from her for years. When she moves to a new city and a new job, she starts to have nightmares. Is this her remembering? Her new boss Frank is super hot and they begin a dangerous flirty relationship. But he has secrets. Hot read.
It was mid-burn steamy read. There are some plot holes and details missing that would made this really great read and missing info that would of provided better character development.
I would certainly recommend and read more books and see how she progresses as a writer
This was a sleeper hit for me, I had put off reading it for a while and wish I started earlier. It took a bit to warm up but ended up loving the relationship and bond between Charlotte and Franklin. Hoping the other interconnected standalones are equally great.
The thought of having demons living all around us was not part of reality. But getting to know Frank has made want a demon like him in my life. Loved the love between them. Her finding the perfect match, the her early life and fears was a great.
I wasn't really sure what I was going to read, as this author is new too me. Although I loved the story, the lack of character details really bothered me. I couldn't quite accurately imagine the main characters and that's really irritating
She had no idea what she was getting into when she applied at the firm. Her boss to be was devastatingly handsome with a body to match. He was mysterious, looking through her. Would she have taken the job if she’d known?
Frank is an engaging character. I'm in love with his bad boy doing good in a "bad" way ethos. Charlotte is intriguing. Her nightmares interested me from the start. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It contained my favourite characterisation of a Demon hero and a strong healthy female. The battle between them to try to stay away from each other and the battle for supremacy was well-written. All in all well-crafted and well-written. I consider it worth a re-read.
