Nakaba Suzuki (鈴木央Suzuki Nakaba, born in Sukagawa, Fukushima) is a Japanese manga artist, known for his works in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday and Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine.
A must read for any Seven Deadly Sins fans, I do think it'd be harder for newbies to get into, the first arc would be enjoyable but the rest not so much as you have to have some knowledge of the series to befit it, as for the arcs.
The Vampire of Edinburgh Is the bulk of this manga and takes place before the series, I liked seeing the earlier sins working together, it's not something we really get in the series itself. Their fights were good and thankfully we had not distractions with damsels in distress, that's probably my biggest gripe of the series. The vampires were very cool though and they each had their own gimmick to combat the sins, my favorite was probably Escanor. He's just amazing and seeing a weaker version of him was very interesting.
A Dangerous Mission Bandits and the bar not much happened honest I forgot about this and had to Google it, which is saying something since I read it 2 days ago and I'm not that forgetful. It's just not a memorable story the guys meet all the sins and things get escalated quickly but nothing really happens.
Character Popularity Poll Official Results Manga As this was for the whole series, it was interesting to see who people voted for. Being that I'm a Ban fan I'm glad that he ranked quite high, I also found it funny that Elizabeth was in the bottom half of the top 10, I would agree because she doesn't do much. It was short and sweet, it didn't outstay it's welcome.
Pilot I was surprised by how close to the original story it was, we had Elizabeth escaping to find the sins and bumping in Meliodas at the bar, I have to say her character was a lot more impactful. Yes she was kind of the damsel in distress but she had much more of playful side to her, instead of the innocent girl we had usually. She's much more saucy too with getting nude and asking him to bathe her. The Holy Knights were a lot more brutal and unredeemable, I could see this being a really interesting version of the story and this chapter was brilliant. Story wise it doesn't cover a whole lot of new ground but as it's a prototype for the series, it's easily forgiven.
A nice few short stories that add nicely to the main series, as some Missions that are mentioned in the main story get a little depth which is always nice.
The last chapter on the original pilot was really interesting, seeing howuch it changed from then to now, amazing.
