November 25, 2025This is a book writen by Katie and Kevin Tsang who have writen multiple other fantasy book such as this. Of this series there are five different books, Dragon Mountain, Dragon Legend, Dragon City, Dragon Rising and Dragon Destiny.
I enjoyed the adventures of this book with such good writing and there were was a very good cliff hanger at the end. I realy reccomend this book to people who enjoy adventure and fantasy books.
In this book Billy Chan and his friends are try to save their friend, Dylan, who has been kidnapped by the evil Dragon of Death. Billy and his friends have to travel back through time, to the dangerous Dragon Realm, in order to save him and defeat the dragon of death. during all this they are trying to get the eight magical pearls before the dragon of death because with the pearls the dragon of death could change the future.

One of the first things that I noticed about this book is that the worldbuilding is amazing! I adored the Dragon Realm and it's description. It made it feel so realistic!
The characters also feel very realistic and I loved the Asian representation! Reading about their relationships and how important they are to one another was heartwarming! I loved their bonds with theirs dragons!
The plot is pretty interesting and by the end there's and interesting twist that may surprise you!
If you love fantasy and dragons you should definitely check this one out!

this book was good there wasn't much action though but the description of the dragon realm was quite easy to imagine what it was like
