Penelope Rauch always felt like she was in the shadow of her older sister Emily. With her sunny disposition and great personality, she decided to be the fun one that was always cracking jokes. He had demons and a past he couldn’t outrun no matter how hard he tried and because of that, there was no room for a woman. Even one as tempting as Penelope Rauch...a Bond by blood. Royalty in his eyes when he often felt like more of a servant.

Life and Love are messy, exhilarating, sad and happy, just a roller coaster of emotions. Natalie Ann brings all of those to light in her incredible writing.
We have waited a long time for Griffin’s story and Natalie did not disappoint. All I can say is that this is one that you absolutely have to read. It was fantastic!

Penelope and Griffin's story was so enjoyable to read!

Griffin was stubborn, but so is Penelope, thank goodness.

Griffin deserved love, yet, he seemed to be pushing it away. Afraid of what was inside of him; waiting to show itself!

These two don't have an easy time of it, which makes all the gains they do make all that much Finer!!!!

Emotional journey. I had tears, yep, I did!

I have a feeling we'll be visiting Eagan and Jennie next! Hope I'm right!

Can't wait to spend more time on Amore Island! Thank you!

Griffin has demons from his childhood as well as his time in the army. Penelope has insecurities of being in her sister's shadow. When Penelope sets her sights on Griffin, he doesn't stand a chance.
Even though he is attracted to Penelope, Griffin tries to keep his distance from her but she does not give up easily. As they begin to spend time together, he realizes she's the best thing to ever happen to him and finally they both get their HEA.

I love Griffin and Penelope's story; they are perfect together! Another great one by Natalie Ann.

Family Bonds-Penelope and Griffin

The storyline wasn’t bad but it was a bit tedious at times. The 2 main characters were constantly fighting a strong attraction. There’s a multitude of family members to go around. So many in fact, that they get confusing. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers. ***It may have helped to read the prior books in the series. But, with as many characters and family members as there are this series could go into the double digits easily.

Penelope was pushy, but I guess she had to be to get Griffin's attention. I had a feeling something happened in the military to mess him up, but I didn't realize how awful his life was before and how much guilt he holds over so many things in the past. Despite his success he feels like he will never be good enough. I liked his sister Jennie and I'm looking forward to hearing more about her in a future book.

Griffin is complex from his past military background to how he met Eli. Griffin wants love but does not feel like he deserves it. In comes Penelope who has always liked Griffin but was afraid to express her true feelings. When work presents an opportunity to be together sparks fly like magic. A happily ever after ending with Penelope and Griffin accepting love from each other. Another beautiful story by Natalie Ann.

This is actually the first book I read in the series and is a standalone. This is the story of Griffin, who has his own demons to battle due to the military. Penelope is persistent to stay the least. The story between the two really reeled me in with its own twists and turns, but is well worth the read in my opinion. I certainly enjoyed it and would read more.

Some people have a hard life growing up and that's what happened to Griffin and his sister Jennie. But now years later and he still can't forget and move past his past. Penelope isn't a Bond but she works for one of their hotels and that's how they meet. Love can be hard, but if you want it you work for it. HEA.

I absolutely LOVED this story (and love and adore the entire series!)!!! Griffin and Natlie's story is wonderful and a roller coaster ride that my heart did not want to get off of. This si a wonderful addition to the series and (as I always say...) my favorite!!! A definite 5 stars for this and each of Natlie Ann's stories! <3

I love Penelope and Griffin together. The two of them really balance each other out. The story made me both laugh and cry. My favorite couple by far in the Amore Island series (and that's saying a lot since, I've liked them all). Can't wait to revisit them in future books.
