From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling romance author, W Winters, comes a provocative tale of a club designed for wealthy sinners. It’s a story crafted for those of us who crave the villain.
Declan Cross is powerful, brooding and his dark eyes speak of damage that my soul begs to unravel. I’ve always been drawn to men who are rough around the edges, the bad guys so to speak… but he’s a kind of brutal that scares me. So I promised myself I’d stay away. I swore up and down, I would never give in to the fantasies that haunt me at night.
One night changed everything. He knows I witnessed everything that happened. There are no deals or negotiations with men like him.
He made it known in no uncertain terms what he desired most… I saw something I shouldn’t have. And now I’m his.
I'll Kiss You Twice is book two in the Shame on You Series. Tease Me Once must be read first.
Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

I’ll Kiss You Twice is book two of the Shame On You series by Willow Winters. I am obsessed with Declan and Braelynn and the journey this book took me on.
My heart has never been so fractured. Be prepared to have your heart ripped out by the end. I was so emotional throughout reading this book but I was so invested. I couldn’t put it down and no one could drag me away. I would of fought someone if they tried.
I went on a week long reading hiatus after finishing this and no matter what I picked up afterwards I couldn’t read it. I couldn’t stop thinking about this masterpiece and ended up reading it a second time. It truly takes a special book to make me pause.
I truly loved this book and I’m highly anticipating the next book in this series to be released.
This book ended on the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. I’m not even mad at it, but my soul is fractured beyond belief.
I can’t wait for the HEA I know Willow Winters is about to give us with Declan’s and Braelynn’s final book, Then You’re Mine. I know she is going to heal the heart that she broke.
I’ll Kiss You Twice is the second book in the Shame On You trilogy (Declan & Braelynn’s story) and Holy shit… I’m not even sure how to put this into words… I thought book 1 threw me into an emotional roller coaster, but that was nothing compared to book 2!
Book 2 pick up where book 1 left off. Declan is heartbroken by the betrayal that he believes Braelynn is behind. Will they be able to get through this? Can Declan protect the Cross Brothers or will it all end in a shit storm and fall apart?
This book was insane, full of heat, emotional, twisted and dark in the best ways possible, addictive and kept my mind reeling from page one!
4.5 stars I enjoyed this one much more than the first book. Although my favorite part of the book was getting to see the Cross brothers again. They have my whole heart 💕
(Thank you Candi Kane PR and the author W. Winters for the eARC in exchange for an honest review)
2.5 ⭐.
I read the first book of this series and it was okay, not exactly bad but not spectacular either.
Unfortunately this book too fell a little short on the impressive scale. I didn’t like how Declan still had trust issues. There were communication struggles and honestly I was feeling frustrated at the way he handled Braelynn. I know this book is heavy in the BDSM scale but I felt like Declan was using sex as a means of communication, it felt like a red flag to me. I also didn’t like how Braelynn could handle Declan’s ways because I thought she should stand up more for herself.
Plot wise I felt that the development was a little slow and draggy, though the anticipation for what more is to come made up for it. I only continued reading because of my curiosity, which is good even though I couldn’t connect with the characters.
As much as I really wanted to like this series, I just couldn't. But it could be someone else's cup of tea.
Declan Cross and his “pet” Braelynn Lennox are back in book two the shame on you series. Declan is heartbroken by the betrayal he believes Braelynn has done but did she really do it? Can he find a way to go through with what must be done to protect the Cross brothers or will his melting heart take over his actions? This begins with a bang and keeps going at full speed. I loved the struggle Declan was going through and the emotions it makes you feel. He is Full of action, this dark romance leaves you needing more and maybe a tissue. I cannot wait to get my hands on the final story. D/s; cliffhanger & Told in dual POV
To say I was waiting for this book doesn’t express the level of impatience I was feeling. Declan and Braelynn were a hot couple in a difficult situation, and the cliffhanger of the previous book was huge.
I’m not saying I was disappointed. This book, and what is told in it, needed to happen. It was a bridge between the situation in the first book, and the obligatory happily ever after in the next one. So it’s a book of shifts–from Braelynn the sub to Braelynn the victim, from ruthless Declan to desperated Declan, from mostly erotica to a mystery.
First book was no walk in the park, and reciprocated feelings between Braelynn and Declan weren’t a given. But the sexual tension was intense. I’d say the color for book 1 was red: passion and danger. This book is black, for the mystery surrounding the leak of information, but also because it’s darker.
The dark doesn’t come from their relationship though. It’s more internal, more personal. While Braelynn is spiraling into anxiety, and some form of PTSD after a rather brutal session of torture, Declan is questionning himself, his family, his life, wishing everything was different. At the same time, I felt the hardship they were going through strengthened their bonds. For various reasons, including Braelynn’s health, there isn’t as much sexy times as in the previous book–at least on page. But Declan has more attentions toward Braelynn, and she more or less confesses her feelings.
But the circumstances surrounding those moments–betrayal, legal risks, murders–make them fragile and temporary. There’s a constant sense of impending doom. And the mystery isn’t resolved in any way! We know Braelynn didn’t betray Declan, so who did, and why pin it on Braelynn?
In the meantime, she’s stuck at the Cross mansion, and she meets with the whole gang. I loved watching her interact with Declan’s brothers and his wife, especially seeing how they treat her for the sake of Declan. The parallel was nice between Braelynn who’s basically alone, but had Scarlet and still has her mother, and Declan who feels alone too when surrounded by his family.
There wasn’t a lot of action here, but the I can’t wait for the last book.
Quickie
- Series: Shame on you #2 (directly follows book 1 and ends on a cliffhanger) - Hashtags: #mafia romance #dark romance #second chance #BDSM - Triggers: violence and death, torture - Main couple: Braelynn Lennox & Declan Cross - Hotness: 3/5 - Romance: 3/5 - + I love a tortured soul, and Declan is a big one - – not a lot happens
He can kill 'innocent' people FOR HER. But he can't kill HER knowing damn well she's a traitor?? (Maybe she isn't but they believe she is?!) He's a double standard bitch.
Also Nate is fucking sus to me for some reason?? Is he the back-stabber?
The Mc calls the mc naive. Oh sweetie, she isn't naive, she's deadass STUPID. I'll never be able to understand what the fuck goes through her head. She does things when she shouldn't. She doesn't do things when she should. She's more immature than a ten year old.
I feel like everything is too repetitive. Somehow after the whole book, we are still at the same spot. Everything happens at the end of the book, Within those last few pages. Before that, we are just following a routine and nothing else. It's too obvious that the author WANTED to make it as a series because the story is dragged on so unnecessarily. In the last few pages, something happens all of a sudden and then the book ends in a cliffhanger. The whole pattern is so obvious.

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Can I have three right now, please? Yet another fantastic read from W. Winters. She honestly never lets me down, especially with these Cross brothers. Declan and Braelynn are seriously one for the books. Their relationship is quite addictive and I simply can’t get enough of them. For me to think that book one was really emotional is a big old joke compared to this book. I mean, I seriously was gripping my Kindle with white knuckles, my heart felt like it was beating outside of my chest and I was pretty close to tears at a few moments. I seriously cannot wait for the third and final book in this series. The ending was an absolute killer and kind of cruel 😅😭
Declan now has Brealynn in his home. She is his prisoner until he can either figure out whether she really did betray him and his brothers or she was set up. The brothers all still think she is quilty but say they will not touch her until Declan decides what to do. But they want her tested, and they do test her, but still they are not sure.
Braelynn is terrified all the time. She thinks she will be killed and can't forget the torture they put her through trying to get her to confess. But she loves Declan. When Declan takes Carter's advise and sets her up for another test, giving her money and telling her to run, she doesn't do it immediately, trying to convince Declan that she is innocent. But overhearing Nate say that they have evidence and Declan will be beside himself she runs.
Of course Declan finds her almost immediately. She asks him to kill her in her sleep....that emotionally kills Declan. But before he can tell her that he won't kill her the cops show up and she tries to jump out of a window to kill herself. They both get arrested. Their lawyer gets her out but sends her back to the Cross brothers home where once again she is terrified thinking they will kill her.
This story is an emotional rollercoaster ride, had very smexy scenes, makes you continually wonder how this will work out in the end. Can't wait for the final chapter in Braelynn and Declan's story.
This is the second book in this series and should be read in order. Declan believe Braelynn betrayed him and his family. Now he plans of discovering the truth. What will happen when he does? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and intense chemistry. Great characters with lots of depth and a read that draws you in from beginning to end. I loved it!
﹌﹌﹌ 5 stars! Though it had some issues, I still enjoyed this book. Countless trust issues existed, and it was crucial to acknowledge them because they enriched the story's characters. There were many red flags, but despite wearing glasses, I was unable to see any of them. I never liked how submissive Braelynn was, so sometimes she needed to stand up for herself. Declan gave her reason to fear him in a way, so having him express regret to us was heartwarming.
I jumped into this book carelessly because I couldn't wait to find out who the rat was. Also, I wanted to see Braelynn find some sort of healing because she at least deserves it from all the torture she got.
**Declan and Braelynn are one of those couples that would last because of the love that is there, not only through sex. **
After that downright scary ending in book 1, I was so scared for Braeylnn as I didn't know how Declan was going to react or what he was going to do.
But Declan. That man continues to confuse and shock me in the same breath. He definitely does not act the way you expect or think like he would.
Declan realises soon that his passion for Braeylnn surpasses any other thing be it betrayals or searching for the truth or even going against his own family.
I really found it so intense and yet sweet the way he just can't let go of Braeylnn but at the same time his intensity is kinda scary for how intimidating he is.
This one was another wild Rollercoaster and getting to see feelings and emotions get deeper and yet having the fear of what will be found once the truth is out.
Once again the build up towards the end was so crazy and packed with so much of action that the pages were not turning fast enough for me.
And that ending. Oh my... Yep.. Can't wait to dive straight into our finale. 💖💖
This is one of those books where I had to keep reminding myself: "It’s a dark romance—logic and common sense don’t necessarily apply."
And yet… I nearly DNF’d it. Twice.
The story starts off strong—I was completely hooked for the first 20%. There’s tension, intrigue, and just the right amount of danger. Braelynn and Declan have a complicated, twisted connection that initially had me curious to see where it would go.
But then? Things went downhill. Fast.
Braelynn, once a strong and determined woman shown in book #1, quickly becomes a ghost of herself. She’s constantly manipulated, gaslit, and completely broken down by Declan. And here’s the kicker—he wants her that way. There’s no real fight left in her, just pure fearful submission.
If you love your romances ~EXTRA DARK~ , this might be for you. For me? It was a frustrating, exhausting read.
Braelynn and Declan’s story picks up and continues to break my heart for Braelynn. She is broken but Declan doesn’t care to see it, all he sees in a betrayal which I get but I wanted to shake him and be omg come on bro!! Can’t wait for the next part
I'm going to start out by saying that you cannot start out with I'll Kiss You Twice, nope, it all starts in Tease Me Once (Book 1), which left us with quite the cliffhanger ending which picks right back up here. It's the story of Declan & Braelynn, and HOLY HOTNESS BATMAN! These two are definitely off the charts HOT! I really want to give all the deets on this story so far, but since I abhor spoilers, I won't & this review will be short & sweet. There's betrayal in spades, but from what actual direction it's coming from, well, that remains to be seen which has the twists coming in hot. So there's heat & suspense but there's also a great deal of angst as well, and I could feel Braelynn's pain like it was my own so between the f-bomb dropping, fan on high, now my eyes were trying to go rogue as well. It all leads to another brutal cliffhanger ending that has me dying inside since I need all the answers, so the impatient wait commences! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Declan and Braelynn’s story continues, and Declan finds himself conflicted between what his head is telling him compared to what his heart is feeling when it comes to what he believes about Braelyn’s actions. He knows that she should leave before any further damage is inflicted but at the same time, he can’t let her go.
Braelyn is conflicted as well as she is hurt by what Declan believes but she knows that leaving is not an option. She is surrounded by people who are suspicious of her and her support system seems so far away.
Declan and Braelynn take us on a suspenseful and angst filled journey that still leaves us with many questions as we await the finale of this trilogy.
I'll kiss you twice is the second book in this trilogy. We pick right up where book one left off. Declan is trying to get over the possible betrayal by Braelynn. Braelynn witnessed something she shouldnt have seen and she hasn't said a word yet she is being accused of talking to the feds. Declan defends her against his brothers and saves her life. Again this book ends on a cliffhanger so we have to wait for the next book to see how it all ends.
My only letdown is this could have easily been a duet, The books are not long so I don't believe there was a need to stretch it over three books instead of two.
I have mixed feeling about this book and I hate that because I loved book one. I was sooooo excited for this one to come out. I became less of a fan of Braelynn throughout this book along with Declan and I hate that. Their love is destructive and unhealthy and I hate what kind of man he has become because of it. The fact that he has acted the way he does to his brothers who are doing nothing but being supportive irritates me and goes agenst the rest of the brothers and their family connection and love for eachother. It makes my heart sad, I just hope in book 3 he redeems himself.
This book! Another captiving read by Willow and can I just say I love Declan so much. There is still so much mystery and intrigue within Declan and Braelynn's story and it just sucks you in! And that cliffhanger, ugh it will have you pulling your hair out! I have not read the other Cross brothers' books but I loved seeing them in this book and I can easily see why everyone loves them so much. I can't wait until I can read all of their stories but getting glimpses of them in here were amazing. I cannot wait for the final book in Braelynn and Declan's story, Then You're Mine!
This book… THIS BOOK!!! I am going to try to bring it into words what this book did to me but it was… WOW.
I’ll Kiss You Twice is book 2 in the Shame On You series and I don’t know what Willow Winters put in these books but I just forget that I’m reading. I’m sucked in it from the first page until the last one. I love how this series just started as a dark romance but has a thriller twist to it aswell.
Braelynn and Declan really go on a journey in this one and I feel for them both. Their life really is way darker in this one and the constant push and pull of certain feelings they have are so well written. You feel as if you are in that same push and pull yourself while reading this book and yes, you really forget that you’re reading because of that. You’re so into the story…
Now the ending, I really did NOT see that one coming. I was like noooo, nope this can’t be the ending where is the rest of it. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS.
Yeah I can’t wait to know what happens in the next book and what comes next after the ending of this one??? Yeah this was a really easy 5 star read.
I am a mess rn this book put me through such a rollercoaster omg. Declan thinks she betrayed him but his love for her is willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.
This book was filled with emotion, heat, secrets, and betrayals from start. It had me hooked I couldn't stop reading.
You can feel the love between them. There chemistry was intense and I just hope for next book they get there happily ever after.
I'll recommend this book to anyone ngl it was really good
Ok ok ok! Sooo the first book tease me once left off with a cliff hanger and so does this one. Declan feels he cannot trust braelynn. Someone is a rat and all the facts point to her. I think in this book braelynn developed Stockholm syndrome. She only feels happy and safe when she's is with Declan. Braelynn is mainly stuck at the cross brothers home for her safety because she is known as the rat . Mind you ... Her every move is watched through a camera. She can't leave or see her mother who is constantly calling her. Declan and his brothers try to discover who the rat is as they try to prove braelynn is innocent.
This book tugged at my emotions the whole time. The storyline was great and all I could think was “no no he something is wrong he has to prove she’s telling the truth” once again the story is left on a cliffhanger and I am dying to read the next one! I am a ball of emotions right now!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I don’t understand why these books aren’t just one single novel. Nothing happened in this book and considering book 1 ended on a sort of cliff hanger, I thought this would resolve some of that. It didn’t. Sigh. I guess I have to see this out and go to book 3.
Who? Who rated it for 4 and more stars? I had facepalm on my face on every freaking page. Are they even adults? I have feeling that I'm reading about teenagers in an adult bodies. It's not mafia, it's a circus
