Bloodsuckers
Lake Greenshore was a place of fond memories. A place where seven friends could forget the strains of the real world and enjoy the outdoors. With several miles of water and thick woods separating them from the rest of the world, Alana Bluestone and her friends set out for a week of relaxation aboard a sixty-foot houseboat.
At their usual hideout, they quickly take notice of a few irregularities. Weed beds in the shallow coves are encased in a strange slime; dead deer, drained of all fluid, lay along the shoreline; and the lakefront residences appear mysteriously vacant.
Panic takes hold one morning after one of their own goes missing. The ensuing search leads Alana and her group to a cove. Beneath the slime-covered weed beds lies a bone-chilling consequence of science gone awry. Leeches, twelve feet in length, have invaded the lake and are hungry for blood. Genetically engineered, they are agile, ruthless, and starving. They are all-terrain vehicles, capable of tracking prey across water and land.
They do not crave flesh, for they are BLOODSUCKERS

This was an exceptional story. The missing piece of the story was not brought to light until the last part of the book. That was a real shocker! I think this book is one of the author's best books. His books seem to be plageued with spelling and grammatical errors. I think that the proof reader is seeing the correct words in their mind as they read the manuscript, and do not realize it. They are making the correction in their mind and reading so fast that they do not realize that their mind has made the correction. Putting that aside, this was a wonderful story. The last part of the book was so full of suspence and drama that I could not put the book down until I had finished the last sentence. He is an excellent writer. He has truly found his genre and style of story tellimg.

Really Big Leech’s
I have to say I really enjoyed Bloodsuckers by Michael Cole. This is a very easy read. The plot follows a group of friends on a lake that has Giant Leech’s in it. It has a very good flow for a creature feature. Not to much action however not to little action either. The characters were all very well developed. I especially liked Kalt. I’m used to most scientist in creature features being evil so it was quite refreshing to see one who was a good person. The leech’s were also extremely terrifying sucking the life out of its victims. All in all I would recommend Bloodsuckers by Michael Cole to anyone who is a fan of Creature features or of Coles many books.

As a fan of the 1950s black and white giant monster movies I felt right at home reading this novel. It had a great plot and gruesome creatures. If you enjoyed the movies like Them, Black Scorpions, and Creature Of The Black Lagoon this book will bring back fun memories.

Never go on vacation with your partner and friends, when your ex has also been invited. Alana Bluestone is living that nightmare, when strange events start happening and things get even worse. Good story, that moves at a nice pace, with a nice twist.

I usually don't read kind of books but the mire I read the mor fascinating they become. Michael Cole is a very detailed writer which makes the books fascinating to read.
