In the steamy tradition of Zane, Eros brings you The Beginning, an erotic tale of seduction and bliss. Is finding the pleasure you want, the way you always wanted it, worth the risk of losing everything you have? It is for Paul and Joyce Ware, a naïve couple who find themselves in the middle of a sexual revolution they never dreamed possible. The Ware family has a long list of temptations, and as chilling secrets tumble forth from their lives, the aftermath leads toward a climax that can threaten not only their marriage but the lives of their children as well. Welcome to The Beginning and once you begin to turn the pages, your sex life will never be the same. Gratification guaranteed!
There is a large part of me that wants to give this book a 1-star rating. I'm a very open-minded person. I have no shame about my sexual urges/desires. I don't agree with "slut-shaming" men or women. However, the author promised something that was not delivered. I was promised erotica...what I got was smut. The author, in his message to his readers, said "The world would respect you more if you came right out and said, 'I'm a freak, and I like it." But no one in the book really lived up to this. There was no realistic or sensible storyline/plot. It was one giant free-for-all...a never-ending fuck-fest, if you will. There were no safety concerns. All I found myself thinking was how everyone was going to be infected with everything! There was so much bacteria being spread, I felt like I needed a hot shower (not the cold one I was hoping to need). I also could not stomach the amount of exposure children had to this madness. Why was that necessary?
The reason I gave this 2 stars is that I love to see male authors holding it down in this genre. And to be fair, the author did warn the reader that this book was not for everyone. It definitely was not for me. But, I wouldn't want to discourage those who might find it entertaining or exhilarating. Do you. And love it!
😂😂😂 Eros you never disappoint me on your books! This was so sexual freeing and I loved every bit of it! This book is not for some people but it’s definitely for me, great read!
