Alexander Smith has a love-hate relationship with trashy online novels, scoffing at the problematic main leads, clueless protagonists and the rampant use of cliches. He never understood why the kind protagonist always chose the abusive 'badboy' main lead in every inane love-triangle, especially when there was a wholesome, gentle second lead head-over-heels in love with her that was, frankly, the key ingredient for a fulfilling and loving relationship.
So, when Alexander is in a fatal accident and his soul is transplanted into the fictional body of his most hated 'badboy' main lead, he makes it his new life's mission to rewrite the story - he will make the protagonist fall for the kind second lead, he will reinvent his character to be a functional member of society, and he will definitely, definitely stay out of drama.
But hey, this is fiction, and fiction loves drama.
i really enjoyed this book as it was unique and interesting (to me).
i really liked elias character as well as alex's.
it was interesting to see alex as a protagonist but we were the only ones that knew, since he was blind to his emotions and elias's emotions as well.
amber joining her brother in this new world was an interesting addition, not to mention the fact that xander woke up in alex's body! we need to see more from his perspective! will he ruin alex's life? i mean alex kind of fixed his but what will xander do?
i loved the author since 'sheets' and it looks like her talent didn't only make an appearance in that book! can't wait to read more from her.

alex lives a normal life with normal parents and his twin sister. until one day when he gets into a car accident. and instead of waking up in a hospital he wakes up in a body of a famous bad boy. but not just some bad boy. bad boy from a book he likes to read for cringe. and now he has to live like him. only he wants to try get the second male lead up to the first male lead protagonist…which of course doesn’t go that way.
this was probably one of the most interesting reads. i don’t even care that i don’t know how that was possible but i loved everything about it.
So creative, I absolutely loved the idea. Although, Alex was the densest character I have ever read about but he's adorable so I'll forgive him. That last twist was hilarious for some reason, I do feel bad for Alex's parents but god the real Xander definitely needs humbling in Alex's body. Elias is so whipped from the start, its overwhelmingly heartwarming. Audrey gives golden retriever vibes, and Amber is so fucking awesome, I simp for her. This book made me laugh so much it can cure depression. Your work is always so perfect, hope you publish your books cus I'm obsessed<3
