The standard remains high
I have read the last 4 books back to back and they have all been extremely well written and more importantly for most of us, action packed
King and Slater this time are out avenging a friend and this time, it's nothing to do with the list or the government.
Tyrel is starting to become more interesting, Slater is trying to raise him so he is independent, Alexis is worried what they might be turning him into
Another reviewer mentioned that the author likes to insert the odd life's lesson into the narrative and this book has quite a few, primarily due to Slater trying to impart his knowledge onto Tyrel. It gets a bit much at times

Manage expectations
This whole series is worthy of anyones time.
Gritty escapism that has you turning page after page as if you are a integral part of the story.
Matt Rogers ability to slip life lessons silently through his storyline as well as entertaining you.
Whether you are road sweeper or a trained soldier our lives are all similar, we manage our expectations and ensure our lives are a success.
This whole series is worthy of anyones time.

Another awesome read
Like all the King & Slater books, this one is impossible to put down. You’ll never guess the ending or the middle, even if you’ve read all the Matt Rogers books. I don’t know how he keeps coming up with new plots for his books, but I don’t care as long as he keeps them coming!

Another great tale
Who couldn't love King and Slater? Can't wait for the next story. Keep them coming and the minimal sex scenes are much appreciated by the way. That's just not needed in a shooter novel, IMHO.
I've stopped reading other authors after they veered down that path but I recommend your stories to my friends and family.

A great read
I have read, I believe, all of King and Slater's escapades from the beginning. It's been a few years. Roger's writing skills is really good. We would love to think there are some guys like that fighting for the good of our fellow man. Hopefully Roger's can continue with this group with more good stories to share.

Amazing again
I absolutely can not get enough of Jason and Will. The stories are all similar, but they are all different enough to keep me coming for more and more. I truly hope this isn't the end.

Fantastic tale

non stop action. great read.
The only time the fast paced action slows even slightly, it’s to deliver heavy philosophy in how to survive minute to minute deadly events. Lots of fun to read.

Another AWESOME story
I'm always impressed by the different story lines and plot twists. To me Rogers is a legend in this genre. Technically sound and superbly edited. I'll keep reading as long as Matt Rogers keeps writing!

Great addition to the series. I can't believe Mr Roger's can keep writing story after story like this. Just amazing. King and Slater are a path of destruction.
