Falling For A Ghost
Halloween for everyone usually means getting dressed up in costumes and going trick or treating. But, for Shadow, it means far worse. Two years ago on Halloween, she put an end to the abuse she suffered and murdered her boyfriend. Since then, she feels haunted by the one who brought her so much pain. As that spooky time of year approaches again, Shadow meets Ghost and his presence has her questioning her sanity.He’s protective, kind, loving and fine as hell but is he real or is it all in her head? With her demons haunting her and voices disturbing her peace, Ghost makes her realize she’s being tested from a higher power. Shadow’s body, mind and soul craves him like no other and she soon finds herself caught in a twisted reality. This Halloween will be one to remember forever.Is she falling for a figment of her imagination or is the love between Shadow and Ghost as real as ever?

Awemazing!!
This was just perfect to for the holiday...I love a good ghost story and this one was amazing. I fell.for a ghost too...every thing seemed so real but I'm happy for Shadow getting her happily ever after eventually and living her best life. Definitely needs more but I can't wait for what's next

i enjoyed this book. I liked the plot. i didn't like the smut parts so much..... it was odd. there were typos thru the book unfortunately BUT the plot was good. i liked the character names, MFC: Shadow, MC: Ghost. As this is a new author for me, i will definitely check out more of her books.

Shadow was finally free from her abusive relationship. She escaped, but the weight of the situation was still so heavy. She was struggling moving forward, but Ghost appeared and helped her view the situation differently. He helped her to realize life was worth living and it was time to let the past go and move forward.
This was a deep short, and I enjoyed the spookiness...almost surreal ness of it all. However, it needed to be edited badly.

This is a solid 2.5 out of 5. This storyline isn’t a unique one for Halloween novella’s and I’v read better. I’m going to read part 2 of this book to see if it’ll raise the overall score of this duology, but as it stands it’s just okay.

This little paranormal gem took me by surprise. I don’t usually drift into the fantasy lane, but the concept pulled me in immediately and I stayed because the execution actually delivered. Shadow’s grief felt heavy in a way that wasn’t overdone...just real, raw, and sitting in her spirit like she’d been holding her breath for years. And then Ghost appears, not as some gimmick, but as a mirror. He wasn’t there to haunt her- he was there to wake her up.
The chemistry between them wasn’t the romance we’re familiar with, it was soul-level confrontation. He challenged her to crawl out of her own darkness, to look herself in the face after hiding for so long. Their connection unfolded fast, but with intention, and by the time she finally started reclaiming her life, I felt the shift right along with her.
The writing has a few bumps here and there, but the heart of the story is what makes it worth reading. It speaks to release, accountability, and choosing not to stay buried in old wounds. This book isn’t long, but it still manages to remind you that healing isn’t about time- it’s about willingness.
I would’ve loved a little more world-building and a deeper dive into the supernatural element, but what’s here is powerful: a woman confronting her own ghosts, literally and metaphorically, and choosing to breathe again.
A short, impactful read that sticks with you after the last page.

Great short story!
This short story was good. Im not really read fantasy/science fiction reader but I enjoyed this book. The cover, title and synopsis intrigued me to read this book and it also was my first time reading something from Tasha Marie. The plot and characters were really good and I can't wait to read more from this author. The story had a few grammatical errors but that didn't stop me from reading the book because I wanted to know if Ghost was a really a ghost or not lol. Awesome book!

This is my first book by the author. And baby imma stick beside her! 🤞🏾
It gave Casper the friendly Ghost but in the hood. 🤭 And lots of 💦💦💦💦.
We meet Shadow, her no good ass 🥷 and Ghost…. Whom she finds out later is a literal Ghost. They way she found out. Her reaction WHEN she found up and everything that leads up to all this coming to a head will keep you on edge!
I can’t even say too much without spoiling it for everyone else! I enjoyed this honey! Onto book #2 👻

Ghost 👻
Wow! This is some creepy sh!t! I was scared for my girl Shadow! I'm glad Ghost found her and was able to help her. She was definitely losing it. I loved their connection and hated to see it end, although good came from it. Ghost was the perfect man for her. Oh & Jaxson got what he deserved & I'm glad Shadow planned it the way that she did. Smart. Can't wait to read the next book.

“This Halloween will be one to remember forever.”
I wasn’t sure what this was going to give but I am not disappointed. This was engaging, funny, relatable, both dark and lighthearted… you get a soft range of emotions.
This is book I in a duology.
I think it’s 50/50 as far as if you’ll want to rush into book II. But, book I is worth the quick read.
The spin of death, grief and abuse was clever. It’s my first read from the author. After this duology, it won’t be my last.

I enjoyed this novella. This was perfect for my spooky read. I love a good ghost story even the ones that break my heart lol.
Because babyyyyyyyy why you got me falling for a man I can’t keep??? Every thing seemed so real and poor Shadow, my girl was going through it.
It was a little creepy because I would totally give it a try Dfl. Ghost was a beautiful spirit and I hope he gets a second chance. I truly loved their connection but was sad to see it end.

Good Read
This short story was really good and I enjoyed it. Shadow, endured so much and it was taking over life. Ghost, was definitely a ghost. He helped her face her fears, in such a short time. So glad that she got herself together and started to live life. I wish it'd been a little bit more, but such a good read. Good job Thee Tasha Marie.

Loved it
Wow, who would’ve thought that Halloween and Love would be in the same sentence. Tasha Marie did her thing with the story. From beginning to end I was hooked I did not want to stop reading the story once I got started. Tasha does a great job with her storytelling skills. This book was most definitely a five star read and I highly recommend you read it!

GOOD READ
This was a nice, short Halloween story. Shadow went through a lot with her ex and starting over in a new city was just what she needed to move on. Ghost appearing in her life became an interesting love story and one that will have him around for life. He was her best kept secret.

Okay so this was my first read from this author but I swear I loved it 😍 shoot now I feel like I’m crazy cause I just knew he was gone be able to come alive and be with her but oh well I’m glad he was able to get her out of her depression cycle…hopefully in book two she gets that HEA 💛🫣

This was a fun short read. The ending was kind of confusing, but I guess the reader has,to infer. Ghost definitely was just what Shadow,needed in her life, but she,deserved a forever after all she's been through. Ready to see what the finale will bring.

Mannnn Ghost was EVERYTHING! Don’t give the love & relations of someone I can’t have cause they not here with me! He gave Shadow what she needed to go forward by giving her peace, the closure she didn’t think she needed AND he saved her from herself! This was short but worth it!

Very entertaining and I loved the story. I hate the fact that she was abused, but she took a stand and ended up making a whole new life for herself.

This story was short but deep. It touched on abuse and what a person is willing to do to get out of it. I am glad that she was okay in the end even though I wasn’t lol, I actually was in my feelings because Ghost and Shadow couldn’t be together. SMDH I recommend this book.

Never have regrets
This was a good book. The abuse Shadow went through nobody should go through being abused. Her killing Jaxson saved her life. Yes it did mess with her, but work Ghost coming into her life was what she needed to live again.

Something to think about
You ever have that dream that felt so real and you woke up with a smile and a feeling of WTF... This story is one of those and you don't want it to end. Loved both of the main characters and the throwback vibes.
