I do not recommend this book. It is too dark for its own good, focusing on evil spirits and dark forces rather than the love and grace of Christ is the opposite of what Christians should do. It fosters a life lived in fear although some things were interesting it flipped my perspective and did more damage than good. I would stay away.

I have to say that Overcoming Familiar Spirits is unlike any book I’ve read before. It’s interesting and really caused me to think and think some more about things in my life and in my head.

This book made me think. There are so many times I have thoughts in my head that I have to rebuke or that I know aren’t of God. I will definitely be rereading this book and referencing it against and with scripture. I enjoyed reading this book. While I can’t say I agree with everything I do think this is a book worth reading.

One of the best Christian living books I have read...deals forthrightly with the issue of unseen principalities that attack true believers. Dr. Bridges's voice is strengthened by the authority of Scripture and his knowledge of Hebrew and Greek translations of text. I am so moved by this book, I bought two copies for two friends struggling with demonic attack. Excellent book--each chapter closes with prayer that I will refer to time and time again. Will definitely read Dr. Kynan Bridges's other books. A fast, impactful read.
