We Outside (Kia & Money)
Nicole Jackson don’t miss! With each new release she brings her A-game every time. We Outside (Kia and Money’s story) is no different. I love the way she brings her characters to life and a lot of us can really relate to these people, because its real-life situations. NJ is the queen of taking a situation from her other books and giving us new perspectives on a character/story. She’s done it multiple times and I love it all. While reading Borrowed Love 1&2 I couldn’t stand Kia for many reasons, but in We Outside she grew on me. Like they say, “There is always two sides of a story, just because someone tells you one thing doesn’t make it always the true version.” I realized Kia is not as bad as she appeared in BL1&2 she was just misunderstood, and Money had her out there looking like a fool. I’m convinced Money is a Capricorn lmao (Cuz men Capricorns WHEW! I had to get that out😂🤦🏾♀️) Anyways, I can’t wait until part 2 of this story because that cliffhanger still got me looking crazy with my mouth open. Like Money is crazy crazy lol If you haven’t caught up to this tea with Kia and Money…Check out We Outside like Now!

Toxicity at its finest
This book was such a toxic mess. But entertaining as heck!!! I’m still #TeamYaz, but seeing Kia’s point of view was eye opening. Money did that girl wrong had everyone thinking she was a delusional stalker. Despite Money playing with her feelings, it definitely didn’t give her the right to blow up her cousin’s spot. But I’m not going to lie I’m definitely a fan of Kia now.

Money, Money, Money….Money
Kia broke my heart but I love that girl’s heart and strong willed spirit. Why people wanted to hurt that Kia is beyond me. She is the realist around. It harmed my soul to read all those self righteous, pompous “family” members degrade her and ESPECIALLY Money! He had zero respect for Kia. What kind of love is that when you hold a woman in esteem in private but allow your boys to bad talk her? Money was punk material for sure. He was so weak. I pray that sweet Ms. Kia changes her life around and chooses better in part 2 because baby girl did not deserve the way EVERYONE handled her. She is only 18 years old and her momma never checked in with her child to see if she needs birth control? The girl is obviously sexually active. She never really talked to Kia only at her. That is crazy. Her Dad was the only person that cared and understood the real Kia. This book is beautifully written because of its character development. Kia is one of my favorite Nicole Jackson characters. She is flawed ONLY because life happened. Underneath it all she is the Realist.

Kia’s Story
I feel somewhat slighted. In the last book. Juju had had her baby and Kia and her were making amends. So, why did we have to rehash all of this in Kia’s story? Again. Also, I found it to be super lazy to copy Chapter 12 from the first book. But, adding a few lines to show Kia’s POV. That said this story felt like a rush job. There were some typos and the timeline started from a weird place. If we as the readers have already read all this in JuJu’s story. Why repeat it? And if this is truly Kia’s and Money’s story? Why couldn’t we go deeper into the character’s profile? They had alot of layers that were skimmed over in a car ride. Seriously? What a wasted opportunity. Its like some stories you get more depth and some, just the bare
minimum. Both of them are damaged and together they were toxic. With this being said. There was a real opportunity to make this a teachable moment and you fumbled the bag. Also, Meesha is a horrible parent and a hypocrite.

I now understand Kia
Let me be honest, I wanted to hate Kia, but I totally understand her frustration. The girl is misunderstood, WITH misplaced anger, for Yaz. Yaz didn't do anything to her, but she already admitted that she was jealous. Its It's unfortunate that she did her cousin like that. Dior on the other hand is out of pocket, she seems to be low key jealous of Kia.
Money is very immature, so he deserves for Kia to walk away. I hope he gets it together before he loses Kia forever.
S/N, I wasn't even going to read Kia's story because my mind was made up, that she was a hater from the previous series, but I am so glad I read her story. I am rooting for Kia and Money to make it.

Both Money and Kia out they rabbit ssa minds… they so wrapped up in each other and their bs neither one of them knows what’s good for them… Kia is still a hater though and she is crazy af but I have to keep in mind that she’s only 18 but damn you gotta love you harder than you love that ninja baby girl… I think Money in it for the long haul because he can’t let that young girl go plus that’s all he know because she’s the third wheel of his mom and sister homeboy stuck for dear life… I just hope in part two that after all the toxic ish that they grow up a little damn… on to part two

So I kind of understanding Kia. She's not feeling love from home so she takes her anger out on others so they can hurt like her. Money is weird like do you like the girl or not. Cori is a sad case. Her mama is annoying to me like girl that's your child like be for real. Her sister be pissing me off too like she's better than everyone and chubby definitely playing her silly tail self. Hopefully part two be more suspenseful because this was just an okay.

I understand and like Kia
At first, I was wondering how the book would allow us to fall in love with the character that we had grown to dislike and distrust in the prequel. This author is sparing nothing when it comes to her stories. I really love Kia and Money even more than Yaz and JuJu. This is a great love story and I can't wait for the 2nd part.

Whew
I really disliked Kia but after seeing things from her point if view,she alright. Now I'm giving Money the sideeye. He was really feeling Kia but put on in front of all those people. Now he done messed around and possibly lost his girl to the next man. I don't blame Kia at all for moving on after someone played in your face one too many times!

This was very good page turner as all of , Author Nicole Jackson, books been for me...I wish it was completely finished... Money, in his feelings...can't wait to see what's going to happen next...now how long the wait for the next part...keep up the good work

Perspectives
Well Money definitely presented a different picture of Kia to JuJu and em. His mom and sis knew the real. Kia definitely slipped through the cracks in her household and it has shaped who she is. I Love that she is who she is flaws and all unapologetically.

Kia’s pov was an eye opener. I liked how she allowed everyone to come to their own conclusions and didn’t want to prove nothing to nobody. She was a hater at times but some of her crashouts were justified
