She was the Queen of Song, but she died during her greatest years. After she was reincarnated, she became a simple trainee. She lost her former glory? It doesn't matter—no one can compete with her beautiful singer's voice. She's mocked for her lowly birth? It doesn't matter—her true identity is enough to make the whole world tremble. She owes huge debts? It doesn't matter... A powerful boss whispered to her: "The debt will disapper if you would become my woman." But she is proud: "I'm sorry. I would sell my art, but not my whole self."
Consists of; ☛ A while lotus who backstabs her own sister ☛ lower than trash male characters whom should just go die in a fucking hole ☛ a story that keeps getting more absurd and turns into misery porn when it should have been a FUCKING REVENGE STORY!!! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ ☛ mental abuse and torment ☛ romanticised rape ☛ Very toxic relationships ☛ dumb, naive, stupid and spoiled FL who falls in love with her rapists ☛ A story that perpetuates the power of men over women, how women can't be whole without a man by their side ☛ Way too much drama happening to the point it loses it’s illusion. ☛ Some other typical chinese cliches
If I were younger, I guess I would be gullible enough to continue reading this piece of shit but I'm wiser now.
Haven't finished reading yet but just stopped by to vent a little....
Holy f**k!!! He adopted her at 12 years old and was in a relationship with her at 13!????! Incest!!! He's a f**Ken pedophil! Why hasn't she realized it (yet?) All that horrible abuse and she still loves him!? 🤢🤮.

DNF CHAPTER 227 Ok. My line has been crossed. 🚨Spoiler ahead!🚨 In 3 . . . . 2 . . . . 1 . . . . The ML rapes her. TWICE! After a very traumatic incident, she is practically catatonic, shredded all of her fingernails and having a mental breakdown. ML gives her a bath to was of the blood and "cant control himself". What utter fucking bullshit is that!? Anyways he forces himself inside her and she is saying no, stop, crying and screaming and he just tells her to bear with it!!! Well she ends up calling him the other sub MLs name telling him to stop cause she is re living that trauma. Of course ML gets mad, roughly picks her up put of the bath and throws her on the bed. She later wakes out of her mental break down and realizes she has been diagnosingly violated and starts yelling at him, he gets made and then, rapes. her. again. WHAT THE FUCK.

DNF at chapter 115/1438, and grateful that I didn't make it further because I think I'll smash my phone from sheer fury. With just a fraction of the abuse a certain guy rained on the female lead revealed, I want him to die. I want him to suffer a thousand cuts, castrated, and boiled in a vat of hot oil and then thrown into a nameless pit. Yet this guy keeps hanging around and apparently is treated as the second male lead? I want brain bleach just to scour the memory of this book from my mind. Why oh why didn't I check the rating first before jumping into this book with both feet?
“A Star Reborn” by Xia Wanying is not only heart-wrenching but also sickening. Beware of this because it is not a pretty, fairy tale romance.
Firstly, the main character is raped and abused by the so-called second male lead from childhood. She only escapes him by death, and the novel basically starts when she receives a second at life in another body. This novel is a drag in some arcs, and I found myself hoping that the men in the story would change or have a bit of humanity. However, it almost always led to disappointment. The only person who kept the tiny flame of my hope was the main character’s brother, who actually did all he could for her. Unfortunately, he is only introduced to the plot near the end, when the female lead meets her family. In addition to the protagonist being an orphan, the author sets a constant mood of isolation in order to build the main character up as self-reliant.
The male lead is okay, not great but not bad. While providing a bit of support through his influence and connections, he brings into her life more problems because of his own issues. The, but making it through all the angst is everything but easy.
Overall, a good book for a good cry. The novel also takes a dark look upon the entertainment industry and life in general.
DNF I just couldn’t continue without throwing my iPad! This book romanticizes rape, and male supremacy. What really makes me mad is that the man who is the reason for all of her trauma is the second ML. What is this?!? Also the ML rapes her as well when she is already in a really low mental state. The “world” is one where women can’t succeed without “selling” themselves to rich and powerful men. This book should have been a revenge novel, which it wasn’t, not whatever this type of “book” is called!

The plot itself isn't bad and the main female lead isn't bad either but the men in this book makes me dislike it. There are a lot of improbable situations between the female lead and the main male lead. There's a lot of girl on girl hate because of men. I also have a wish where authors will one day stop making grown men and teen romance a thing. I despise it.
