Great novella that connects the last book, Embrace the Highland Warrior, to the new book coming out on June 3rd, Heart of a Highland Warrior. Would definitely recommend this novella to anyone who has been reading the Highland Warrior series. ARC received for an honest opinion.

Another great book! I feel the excitement and action in every word. I have fallen in love with these characters and when they cry I cry with them. I was so sad to see it end but can't wait to pick up the next book. Keep writing us these great books Anita!!

This book is one of the few I read that made me cry... When I told the author I said this was good because this story moved me emotionally. Angus is a true hero as he will fight for his family & friends giving anything needed to keep them alive. He will protect them while on his quest even as he hides his love... This story flows & leaves you waiting for the next book releasing soon after this one.

Better than others

While this is a short story it gives a lot more information and leaves many questions. Angus is a key to earlier stories. He found Tavis' key although he was looking for Faelen. They look a lot alike!
We find out a little more about Anna and Ronan, although I still have many questions about Ronan and his behaviour in previous stories.
Let's see what happens next...

This is another great book and story !

Angus was a man and warrior who loved to putt puzzles together to find the truth. His quest for the truth led him all over the place, he was secretly in love with his best friend Anna also a warrior. He lost his life trying to unravel the mystery he was seeking. Great book and story I recommend it with a 5 Stars review

It was so much fun to get to know the mystery man who died. You fall in love with his crazy desires to solve mysteries and how he lives to serve his clan. He is the friend that every girl should have.

Can I just say for a short book, this packs a serious punch! If you've been following this series then you HAVE to read Angus. It answers a lot of questions and sets up some OMG questions that have your mouth swinging open. Personally, I spent most of this book squealing like a teenager and wiggling like a dog waiting for a kid to toss the ball!

Oh my dear Louise! I can't actually give a full review without spoilers but let me just say a lot of things in this book made me wiggle with excitement, I mean literally get out of my chair and shake my broad ass wiggle!

An enjoyable story that brings you in and gets you hooked on this book series. For me it also opened so many questions about what happened with other characters mentioned in this book.

Angus is not only a hot sexy warrior that fights demons but is so likable with his playful inquisitiveness for solving/finding things. Seriously Anna, his childhood friend and fellow demon slayer, and he are so close that one wonders how life would be if they got together. Well, guess you will have to read it like me to find the answers too and then go order the other books to tie it all in

If you're already a fan of Anita Clenney, then this ones a must read.
This story is entwined with Awaken the Highland Warrior and reveals a little more of the mysteries surrounding the Clan.
As well as fighting demons with the beautiful Anna, Angus has made some startling discoveries within the clan and is determined to get to the bottom of it. He's also keeping a few secrets of his own, some of them concerning Anna.

For Highland Warriors fans! Angus fills in quite a few details about what happens during the time of Faelen's story in Awaken the Highland Warrior. It also brings up several characters that we have read about in both Awaken and Embrace the Highland Warrior. It was especially fun to read more about Anna. Ends on a very mysterious note though, so be warned! It will leave you wanting to jump into Heart of a Highland Warrior!

Although much of what I read about Angus was covered in previous books of my reading, I got a better understanding of his and other related individuals! I have the impression of other adventures with him and the Connor Clan! I can't wait, give me more!
