MICHAELA Christmas is a time for celebration and joy, but the news I just received has brought me none of that. I don’t have family or close friends to turn to. All I have is a list that I’m determined to cross off each item before it’s too late. But when a snowstorm on the East coast grounds my flight, leaving me stranded in Seattle, the hope I felt of having a perfect Christmas is lost. That is until the handsome stranger offers to help me.
ROMAN I’m not one to celebrate during the holidays. I’m too busy with work to stop and smell the chestnuts roasting on an open fire. But on a flight back home to Seattle, I run into a beautiful stranger and find out she’s determined to mark every item off her Christmas to-do list before December 24th. Can I find my own holiday spirit and help her experience every item on her list before her deadline?

Such a Great Holiday Quick Read! Lana Dash’s “Snowflakes in Seattle,” part of the multi-author Destination: Christmas series of steamy romantic quick reads, gives us a sweet instalove connection between the incredibly hot attorney Roman and sweet, beautiful and vulnerable Michaela. A chance meeting becomes a lip-biting, heart-tugging opportunity for the two to work on the heroine’s holiday bucket list. So friggin’ cute! Dash gives us relatable characters (although Michaela made me angry at one point, to be honest) and a great story that can be read in less than an hour. Loved this holiday tale with my whole heart!

She wants to witness a Christmas Miracle.....and ends up being it
Snowflakes in Seattle by Lana Dash is the first book in the multi-author Destination Christmas series. When Michaela gets a medical diagnosis a couple days before Christmas that she knew was coming she decides she needs to fulfill the bucket list she had with her father before he was too sick to do it. So instead of talking about treatment plans and specialists she heads home to pack and books a flight to Vermont. Roman has just returned home to Seattle after being in Los Angeles on business. He is a workaholic who really has not life outside of work. But he is being forced to take some time over the holidays off by his boss, his uncle. That is when he is run over at the airport by a young woman in a hurry. There is lightening bolt city between them but then she runs off to her gate before he can say anything to her. Is it a lost opportunity or when he finds a piece of paper that belonged to her will he be able to find her? Lucky for Roman you cannot fight the weather so when Michaela's flight is rescheduled to the next day and he has nothing to do he decides to help her check off items from her bucket list. They end up going around the city until they end up back at his place and then things get steamy hot. But Michaela is still hiding something from him and that means things will not quite work out the way he expects....or will they but on a longer timeline?
I enjoyed this fast-paced, entertaining and smexy story. The story-line kept my interest and I found the characters to both be likeable. There are a couple twists in it that I was not expecting but that made it much more engaging.
After getting some bad news, Michaela decided to relive what her and her father used to do at Christmas. She was running to catch her flight when she runs into a guy and knocks him to the ground. She got more bad news the flights to Vermont are not flying due to the snowstorm. Thinking she lost her bucket list but that stranger she ran into found her and brought it back. Roman was suppose to be on vacation but it was hard to relax until he was knocked over by her and dropped her bucket list. After finding her, Roman introduced himself and decided that since she was not flying to help her with her list. Michaela was thrilled to start her list and Roman was handsome and happy to help her. Things were going good and they were having fun until she had an episode that Roman had to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital. Roman took her suitcases to her at the hospital and left hoping he would hear from her but he didn't, not for a year and then out of nowhere he was given an address, he went to it to find Michaela there. Roman was thrilled and told her how he felt and she explained everything that had happened to her. Now they were back together things are only getting better. She was in remission and after a few years of getting good news the doctor called them in to tell the news. That she was now pregnant and they were both shocked, thinking she couldn't have kids. It's a miracle! A Christmas miracle!

*spoilers* Michaela lost her father, whom she was very close with, 20 years ago due to cancer. Now she gets the same diagnosis, she does not want to fight, but experience a last magical holiday in Vermont, which she had planned with her Dad, but he did not make it. But she is stuck on her way there, because of a snow storm, in Seatlle and meets Roman. He works so much, that he is cut off from it till first January. He finds Michaela's Christmas bucket list and wants to help. Can he help her with the most special one, a Christmas miracle? Roman and Michaele have the special spark and spend time together , working on her bucket list. When the flight is delayed on the next day, Roman wants her to stay with him. Their time is magical, but then Michaela collapses and does not want to burden Roman. This is a short, sweet Christmas magic story with some personal drama. It made me so sad for them both, but also made me smile. Something magical for the heart. When you have something to fight for in your life, miracles can happen.

As the book opens, Michaela gets some bad health news. Apparently diagnosed with the same illness her father died of, she’s not thrilled. Accepting her fate, she decides to take that trip her father and her were supposed to take but didn’t get to. Thinking hard about Christmassy stuff, she makes a list to really LIVE her last Christmas. Enter Roman who she literally knocks off his feet. As she dashes away, he sees she dropped this list. He follows after her to return it and finds her flight has been cancelled…oh darn. Together they cross nice (and some naughty although they weren’t noted) activities off her list. Suddenly, she collapses and he needs to get her to a hospital. She checks herself out and he doesn’t see her again until the next year. Don’t worry, it’s a HEA with ALL the feels. Such sweet moments that will pluck those heartstrings to whatever melody you wish. A short, sweet story that makes you believe in miracles because that’s what Christmastime is for.
This is a touching story Michaela gets some devastating news from her doctor and decides since she's alone not to seek treatment she makes a bucket list and heads to the airport. She's supposed to fly to Vermont but due to a storm the flight is canceled and she crashes into a stranger that is going to effect her life. Roman is returning from a business trip when a beautiful woman crashes into him he's just been told by one of his partners that they're forcing him to take time off by cutting off all access so he has no choice but to not go to work. Roman notices a piece of paper that the beautiful woman dropped and notices the list on it he goes to find her to give her the list and he offers his help with it. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this touching story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Lana Dash joins the awesome multi-author Destination Christmas series with the must-read Snowflakes in Seattle. My favourite work by Ms Dash thus far, Michaela and Roman's story is such a beautifully-written, happiness-inducing, sweet and steamy short Christmas instalove romance. Facing a difficult diagnosis, Michaela packs her bags and with a bucket list in hand, heads to the airport to head to Vermont for a Christmas in the snow. Michaela literally collides with lawyer Roman in the airport, and when her flight is cancelled due to weather in the east, he eagerly offers to help her scratch items off her list. Such a wonderful holiday love story, a definite must-have to add to your Christmas romance collection!

I really liked this story. It was a bit sad but also entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable although I did get mad at Michaela for not telling Roman what was going on. Roman was a major sweetheart. He was so kind and sweet and protective of Michaela even though they had just met. The way he worked to help her complete her bucket list made him a pretty perfect book boyfriend. Michaela’s decision was understandable given what she had been through, but I wanted her to give him something more than she did. I loved Roman’s reaction to seeing her. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Snowflakes in Seattle is a short read that will have the chance to grab your heart. Michaela is determined to have the Christmas that her dad and her always talked about, but when fate stops her getting on the heading East, Michael finds more than she expected in Seattle. Roman works and works and works. When his plans to go into the office is put on hold, his run in with Michaela puts a new look on his life.
This story took my emotions on a ride of the unknown. Michaela was planning on crossing things off her bucket list when she met Roman. I love how he took her list and was able to give her the experience she did not know she wanted.

First things first; I like the cover of this book! Snowflakes in Seattle is the first book in the ‘’destination Christmas’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Michaela learns some news about her health, she decides to go on one last trip. When she meets Roman sparks fly but will love blossom? The chemistry between Michaela and Roman is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.
Ummm....Did we read the same book?? Because I HATED this story. It is a very short story that reads more like fanfiction. There is zero depth to either character. You never find out what's wrong with female character, whose name I have already forgotten. She disappears on the hero with no word or explanation. Then has the audacity to show up a year later like I'm back what's up? And he just takes her back!!! Like she didn't just walk away and leave him with no word for a dang year!!
All I can say is that this is not a great way to start this CHRISTMAS series...I'm hesitant to read any further but they are different authors so maybe.
Michaela is diagnosed with the same disease that took her father. She bravely decides to have the Christmas she and her father promised themselves before he passed away.
She mows Roman down in the airport, in her rush to check-in for her flight to Vermont. A storm shuts down planes leaving for Vermont and the couple spend the day doing things on her bucket list, and falling deeper in love in the process.
This was a lovely story and was quite emotional. My only issue was that the tense is not consistent. But other than that, an enjoyable, short and steamy instalove story.

Michaela got some very disturbing news from her doctor. With treatment not an option, she makes a bucket list of things to complete while she is still able. As if fate was already against her, a severe snowstorm grounded her flight and stranded her in Seattle.
Roman is a workaholic who has been told to take time off. At the airport, he bumps into a stranger who drops her list of items she has been marking off. He tracks her down to return the list. She has no one else, so he offers his help in marking off her items. Will his kindness give her what she needs? Is there a Christmas miracle waiting for her?
Michaela has a disease that could end her life shortly. She refused to go to NY to take part in a test program for her disease. She was going on vacation and at the airport when met Roman. Due to bad weather all flights were cancelled. Roman found a bucket list she had made so he figured why not help her complete it. They had a wonderful time but things started happening. Read what happened. I don't know if I was completely happy with what happens but that's just me. Overall the book is very good, I enjoyed it and hope you will too. Written by Cindy :)
Michaela is determined to have her picturesque holiday before it’s too late but Mother Nature throws a wrench in her plans.
Roman is a work-a-holic who is being forced to take time off. He was about to find a way to continue until fate dropped Michaela into his life. He was intrigued at first sight and is determined to spend as much time with her as he can.
Loved watching them enjoy the holiday and that special Christmas magic.

Michaela is sick and needs treatment but she refuses because she doesn't have anyone to fight for. That is, until she meets Roman. He's a stranger she crashes into, and he helps her fulfil her bucket list.
This was ok for a short story but it takes only 20 minutes to read and I thought this plotline could have delivered a lot of feels in a more detailed format that lingers on the sweetness and the sadness a little more. The steam level: the sex scene is as quick as everything else here.

Part of a multi author series. Michaela has just been given a devastating diagnosis and has created a bucket list she wants to complete. Roman has been a workaholic and has been sent on holiday by his boss with orders not to return until after the holidays. This was an emotional read that had you on a rollercoaster of emotions. The characters, Roman and Michaela, had an instant connection with lots of chemistry and steam. Looking forward to more of this series.

I really enjoyed the concept of this story, it was sweet, romantic, happy and sad. I believed in their connection and chemistry, and enjoyed seeing them get to know each other and finally get to their HEA. If this was turned into a Christmas movie, I would definitely watch it as Michaela and Roman's story touch my heart.

Wonderful feel good Christmas holiday storyline that starts with some rather disturbing news. Loved the meet cute and the instantaneous zing of Michaela and Roman. I enjoyed how well these two connected and were able to just enjoy the moments of their time together. I especially liked how Michaela used the when statement to her advantage and made the most of going forward.

Wonderful Christmas romance. It was love at first sight for Roman and Michaela! Beautiful, sweet, sexy romance with a very loving and caring hero who waited for Michaela even though he didn’t know why she disappeared! The HEA was absolutely amazing

Roman and Michaela are a couple that will steal your heart. Warning: you will get mad at some point in the story - keep going. I promise it gets better. For a short read, this one packs an emotional punch. I fully admit to shedding a few tears with this one - happy ones at the ending.
This story really touches my heart having lived with the reality of cancer. It has inspired me to make my own bucket list. Here's hoping for someone to share the journey. This was the perfect story about a great couple.
