I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!

The story is sweet and is more on the suspense/thriller than romance. Perfect story for a quick Halloween read!!

Amazing cliffhanger!!!!!

I did not expect that!!! I was sure Anna and Johnny will end this!!!!

And Johnny!!! We surely are gonna see him again, right?
This can be it for them?

And OMG poor Anna!!!!! 😳 I kept waiting for something to happen…… Anna!!!!!!!!! 🤯

The story gave me goosebumps!!!! 😱

Magic, real or imagined is all around us, and this tale showcases both. In this story we have a touch of intrigue, a little gore, a splash of romance and a ton of sass. This a short story that was well written. Paranormal romance is not a genre I am really interested in but I have read other books by this author and so I took a step outside of my comfort zone. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

From the cover story blurb, my expectations were set for gory and gruesome. I have been "away" from reading murders and such for many years. I thought to myself, well I enjoy reading Author Julie Thorpe. I might not like this book, but I still will try it.

This book is nothing like I was thinking it would be. It was not gory and gruesome murder that I expected. I am thrilled that my expectations turned out wrong. I was kept captivated by the story. I am sure you will enjoy this.

WOW just WOW this book has been written amazing to capture the readers & it’s done just that. From the prologue I was hooked, before this book I’ve never read anything about witches or zombies before & now I think I’m hooked! You got to see the story from every aspect. I cannot wait for the next read to see what happens next!

Black Magic opens up with a very intense and sinister scene I didn't see coming! In this novella, the author takes us on a terrifying ride with zombies, witches, and adds in a cute little romance. This story is perfect for a good Halloween scare, and I'm curious about what will happen next in Madame Midnight.

Fantastic

This short story has everything and leaves you wanting more. When a young man finds the remains of a friend, he confides in Anna. Anna can't make sense of what's happened and so goes in search for answers. But those answers lead to more than either of them could have bargained for and they find themselves trying to save more people. But will their plan pay off?

Perfect timing to read this book…..Halloween! Zombies and witches start the book right off in the beginning so you know something big is going to happen. I was unsure going into this book because it’s not what I’ve normally read from Julie before but for sure a great read. Ready to see what happens next!
