I am so excited and happy that new books are being added to the Nate the Great series! The latest release, “Nate the Great and the Missing Tomatoes” by Andrew Sharmat is a highly engaging and entertaining book for beginning readers. As a primary teacher, my students love reading about the fun characters as they solve age appropriate mysteries. The illustrations by Olga and Aleksey Ivanov in this book are just amazing and bring this story to life for young readers! Please keep creating new books for this incredible series.

Starting to get my 2.5 year old daughter into chapter books. This was my first attempt, a rousing success! She loved the little mystery of it all and I liked that the story ended up being a misunderstanding. Maybe just one more page to explain how Oliver made up for his mistake or some other cleaning up of the story.

Nate the Great and his dog Sludge are summoned to find out who is is taking tomatoes from different gardens and leaving behind quarters as clues during a tomato growing competition. The prizes for the winner are amazing, so it's up to Nate to solve the mystery before the competition.
