A baffling drug. A growing epidemic. And one tenacious teen determined to unravel the mystery. After saving a friend from a near fatal accident, Christopher and his uncle Tremain investigate the supposed recreational drug behind it. The clues they find lead them to Senator Markus and a large development company dead set on acquiring a specific plot of land in the middle of nowhere.
What does this odd piece of geography have to do with the substance being distributed to kids? And how does it connect to the botanical wonder in Christopher's own backyard?
Strap in for a gripping adventure in the latest page-turner by Terry Marchion! Lovably quirky characters face ominous mysteries in this spellbinding series!
Some things never change. Teenagers and their love of pushing boundaries; experimenting with different types of drugs… but are they really?
Once again, strange happenings surround Christopher and Tremain and this time it involves… flowers?? Most of us can breathe in the heady aroma emanating from various flowers with a deep sense of calm and happiness. Others cringe at the mere thought of being near the achy, sinus infection sources of misery. Can you imagine stopping to smell a rose only to find yourself in another world? Well, not literally, but how cool would that be?
Then we get to the question: What lengths would you go to save your family? How about your entire world? We all have a voice yearning to be heard. Some are loud and obvious while others are meek and more subtle. Sometimes desperation comes into play and everything is fair game.
My opinion of this book? If you’ve read my previous reviews, you know how much I love this series. The Dreaming Tree made me ponder my own feelings and actions. I’m still pondering.
Terry is a fabulous writer and I look forward to reading more of his work.
Ah, the long awaited book 6. I enjoyed every bite of it. The "we are here" statement is so simple yet so powerful. This series is not only entertaining but also makes you ponder on important issues.
