I am Rosie Miller and at the age of twenty… I am taking back control over my life.
Witches, demons, even angels cannot stop me from what I am about to do. I am looking for revenge and I refuse to be a doormat any longer.
I have been beaten, lied to, forced into traps, and now… the Rosie Miller everyone once knew is dead. In her place will stand a ruthless cold blooded monster that no one will mess with.
The others have a choice, stand with me or fight against me and I will not sit around to see who picks which.
At least now I know who my real enemies are.
And I swear if one more person tells me I need to go back to Winterfell, tthey will have bigger problems on their hands than a disgruntled demon hybrid.
Yet another MFC turned into a sex-crazed doormat whose only solution to any problem is bumping groins with her nonsensically obsessed partners who are helplessly in love with her because she’s “different” 🙄 Also, am I the only one who believes Amr should’ve stayed nothing but a magical cat? His devotion to her (for no apparent reason) and the fact that she accepted him no questions asked (using sex of course, because these characters can never have a proper, intimate conversation without fvcking) is just straight up ridiculous.
Let’s not even talk about the typos✋🏽🚮

There are so many pieces to the puzzle, I’m trying to put it together, I need to put it together This series is freaking amazing This book has definitely been more spicy than the others. Amr & Daxton, I love it! I need to know who’s good and who’s bad I have so many questions now! 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Overall, I hated this series as much as I loved it. I’ve said it a million times, and I’ll say it again. Something just hooked me and I couldn’t look away from the mess. It’s absolutely ridiculous and filled with constant drama.
The biggest pro, it was highly entertaining. Through the utter confusion, I was like HELL YEAH - do the thing! What was the thing? I’m unsure. It was like binge watching a reality tv series or something.
Alsooo, the spice was hot. I loved the inclusivity, representation, and constant fucking. I’m a slut for the smut. What can I say? Not sorry at all.
The character develop was there but also not? I love hated every character at some point. Which is fair, because they all hate each other too. Everyone was shit head with zero emotional intelligence and loved to fuck each other over for attention or their own gain. But I am a sucker for a broken character so I did get attached.
The downsides are plenty, but mainly it was super difficult to follow. I don’t think this series was plotted out at all. I was confused, the characters were confused, the author was probably confused. Idk.
The writing style was also pretty awkward and disjointed which took me out of the story multiple times throughout my binge.
All in all - I truly don’t know that I’d recommend this series to anyone even though I had fun. I’m not sure that I’m going to finish the series out, especially because none of them are on KU, but time will tell.
This was so confusing, I'm convinced not even the author knows the whole plot. Misgendering their own character, typos everywhere, whole words missing. 1.5 stars
All the books in the series up to this book (book 3) were good but there is one thing that should have been in the warnings section at the beginning of the books. I think there should’ve been a warning of bestiality because the cat introduced in the first book was believed to just be a sentient cat. We then find out that he can shape shift only in the third book. There should be warning that there will be shapeshifters and their role in this fantasy world or a mention of bestiality; so you don’t get two books in and get surprised by the explicit content involving the cat in the third. What she lists is below: “The themes can include but are not limited to; sexual assault, death, gore, domestic abuse, character deaths, trafficking, dubious consent, mention of CSA, flash backs of CSA, double penetration, blood play, self harm, cannibalism, explicit sex, and violence.”
Sadly this sequel dipped for me. I found myself putting it back down after only reading a couple chapters too many times, which made the admittedly fast-paced story feel somehow slow.
I think it was due to the shift within the characters. The development is great to see, but there was a severe jump from how they were to how they are in the third book, and it left me unable to connect as well. This series is essentially balanced on a knife edge, with each person both choosing and being forced to keep secrets from eachother. It's exhausting to read.
Aside from that, the complexity just keeps getting more entangled, and I'm eager to see how the end looks with this group of damaged, strong beings.
I’m not sure I’ve ever read a series that went downhill so quickly. I mean wow. I STRUGGLED to finish this book and it’s less than 300 pages. Seriously just, what happened? This story and these characters had so much potential and it really just feels like the author decided to just keep throwing plot twist after plot twist for literally no reason. Like, what was the point? The characters are so wishywashy and inconsistent that by the end there were only like 2 that I actually could tolerate. What a waste of time.
There are constantly more secrets and even more players in a complicated game that is just so compelling. Through all the pain, you still can't help but hope that one day they can all be happy together however that means for them. With each installment there's a push and pull that keeps me coming back for more.
I found moments with certain POVs when I was utterly confused. Still hopeful to get answers. It keeps me coming back but the rating is due to me not knowing where a plot point began.
4,5⭐ Amr started to gain more of a personality in this book and overall even though I feel like I'm repeating myself these books never slow down, so much is constantly happening and the spice is always so hot. I also love how obsessed they all are with Rosie, I wish the other dynamics would get a bit more attention and development though, the witch and demon lore seems to go even deeper, but I'm starting to notice some plot holes and overall issues with the world building.
