I was looking for some information prior to calling an electrici9an in for osme planned upgrades. I am not knowledgeable about electricity, but thisw book is actully a picture book of electricity, with 2-4 photographs per page giving close-ups pf every step of every name and process and size and material and a step-by-step pictorial of every repair and every method. I became so interested that I just jet readinbgm and before I knew it, I had read the whole thing.

This book is dangerous. I so want to gut my house and redo the wiring from scratch. Amazingly dense with information, but with exceptionally clear diagrams, pictures, and approaches to nearly any project in your home. Indispensable.

Good relatively in depth residential wiring book. As with most if not all of such books, an attempt is made to cover too many areas so as to appeal to a wide audience.
