This was such a pleasant surprise. I grabbed this book because my friend Angela published her first short story. It was probably twice as good and emotional to read because the words came off the pages in her voice.

But of course I also read the rest of the book, not knowing what to expect. I'm so glad I did. Loved each one. Each so different from the next, I didn't know what to expect. And as a Washingtonian, I loved the rain connection.
