Poetry. New work by the author of TILT (The Figures/Hard) which is also available from SPD. The 24 poems in this book all have big noun names, such as Blood, Shopping, or Poetry. I like it. In areas of boredom, it is not one of my problems. But I don't give a shit about the fine points of my art. There is always a curious lack of depth to one's output, a good deal of glitter and talk, often the anticipation of great doings; but in fact little that is memorable occurs ... So many voices, so little time (Poetry). Gillian McCain is co-author (with Legs McNeil) of PLEASE KILL ME: THE UNCENSORED ORAL HISTORY OF PUNK. Saddlestapled chapbook.
