Let the Holy Spirit Bring Your Heart Back to LifeMost of us need help to look at the pain and fear that grip our lives and to find the courage and stamina it takes to do the work to be free. You are not alone in your efforts. God is eager to work with you to create unprecedented beauty from your ashes, and to deliver and restore you to health and wholeness. Using her personal story of ongoing inner healing and deliverance, prophetic leader and pastor Jennifer Eivaz equips you with biblical and practical tools that will lead you into full restoration. She provides support and encouragement for you to uproot every lie coming against you as a child of God.Jesus is asking, "Do you want to be made well?" With the help of the Holy Spirit to implement His plan using tools He gives you--the Word, prayer, counseling, declarations and more--you can find healing for all the damage of your past."With transparency and powerful insights from Scripture, Jennifer Eivaz reveals how God has been faithful to heal the deepest wounds imaginable in her own life and in the lives of many others. This is an invitation for every reader to experience supernatural freedom that is found in Jesus Christ."--Dr. Ché Ahn, president, Harvest International Ministry
Hurt people, hurt people. Healed people, help people. Being human, we often need to be helped first before we could help others. It has been said that Christ came to earth not to make people good, but to make dead people live. The Bible says that because of sin, we died, but because of Christ, we live. Some Christians claim belief but still live superficially. We need to change from the inside out. One way or another, we all need to be healed and to be delivered from the different impediments that prevent us from growing spiritually. Sometimes, there are deeper issues of the soul that need particular attention. This is where this book comes in. Written by one whose life has been changed from the inside out, this book represents the work and experience of an author whose conviction is that Christ heals and there is demonstrable power of the Holy Spirit that we need. Author Jennifer Eivaz asserts that every believer is a minister. Known also as the "Praying Prophet," Eivaz has spent her life teaching the need for inner healing and deliverance. Inner healing is "the healing of the inner [person]: the mind, the emotions, the painful memories, the dreams. It is the process through prayer whereby we are set free from resentment, rejection, self-pity, repression, guilt, fear, sorrow, hatred, inferiority, condemnation, or worthlessness, etc." Deliverance is "from God and is part of the blessing of being in covenant with Him. It only destroys what is of the devil; it never destroys what is of the Holy Spirit. Since deliverance is a work of the Holy Spirit, it builds up the saints and edifies the Church. It tears down the strongholds of the enemy but builds up the work of God." Both are needed together.
As one progresses through the book, Eivaz shares powerful stories of deliverance, sometimes warning readers upfront to "read with caution" the sensitive contents. She shares deeply personal traumas of her past, together with rivetting details about her restoration from the wounds of the past. She describes how hatred not only prevents us from healing, it hurts us deeply. Past trauma, PTSD, hurtful memories, and different types of shame can prevent us from even considering a journey toward healing. Eivaz also warns us about the occult and cults. Slowly but surely, readers see increasing positive light toward the end of the book as Eivaz shows us how to defeat the spirit of fear and embark on the journey toward restoration.
My Thoughts ============== Healing and deliverance are significant parts of Jesus' ministry. They are definitely not the only ones. In his ministry, Jesus spoke the Word. He taught the Scriptures to his disciples. He also spent considerable time ministering among the outcasts and marginalized. Whenever he has the opportunity, he would illuminate Scriptures for his hearers and remind them about the purpose of his coming. Many people followed him because of his teachings. Others followed him just to see his miracles. Sadly, most (if not all) deserted him when he was crucified at the cross. Today, inner healing and deliverance matters take on different narratives depending on which faith tradition one comes from. The Pentecostal tradition tends to be one of the most prominent practitioners. Thus, it is not surprising that the author of this book comes from a background of tongues-speaking, prophecy, and spiritual giftings filled with supernatural signs and wonders. For that reason, I am grateful for the way the Pentecostals have complimented mainstream Christianity to remind all of us how real spiritual warfare is. Perhaps, the reason why mainstream denominations and conservative circles do not see as many miracles and deliverances is because of their lack of faith in these areas.
Having said that, just as the author has acknowledged, there have been cases of excesses and wrongful applications by some misinformed or over-eager practitioners. She urges us to be open to the moving of the Spirit. By covering each chapter with prayer, she acknowledges that every act of the Spirit is to be prayerfully conceived. We should not let the excesses swing us toward unbelief. Instead, we should let the Scriptures and the prompting of the Holy Spirit sway us toward faith. We need more realization of the work of the Spirit in an increasingly secular and skeptical world. Even believers need to be reminded and refreshed about the Power of the Spirit. Some of the things described in this book can be quite mindboggling. As the Bible teaches us, the things of the Spirit must be spiritually discerned. If there is no faith, how can we expect the Spirit to work? Whatever it is, stay open to the Spirit's prompting. Be ready to let the Scriptures guide our thinking and praying. Consider the life and work of the author and let the fruit of the Spirit teach us.

Even though it is at times difficult to read through details of trauma, this book is a must read for anyone who has to deal with the effects of trauma; those who endured it; those close to them; those who are ministering to them.
Jennifer keeps it real. She knows first hand that healing trauma is both a journey and a long term process which needs a team. A team of both professionals and non-professionals; professionals both spiritual and medical; non-professionals with love, friendship and prayer support.
Severe trauma can be the entry point for spiritual nasties and Jennifer explains that quite well. She also gives tips on how to recognise that spiritual nasties have gained a foothold and how to deal with it in an affirming manner.
In Inner Healing and Deliverance Handbook, Jennifer Eivaz has written a guide on dealing with our pain and healing. She begins the book by looking at the ministry of Jesus and how he was anointed by God. He had the Holy Spirit and was given the power to heal and to break people free from oppression by the devil. The book looked at how people was anointed with oil and this signified God’s blessing on their life. She explored how kings and prophets were also anointed. She shared the story of the man who was sick and Jesus asking him does he want to get well. She explained how we all need to ask ourselves if we want to get well and to obtain wholeness.
In the book, she shared her own personal story of her father being an alcoholic, schizophrenic, and emotionally. He drugged her and violated her and she was raped. She revealed how she had to hide it in shame and silence. She also turned to drugs and alcohol and rebellion. She had experienced with demons influencing her life. Her father eventually moved to Japan and passed away from alcohol consumption. She opened up about how she left the Mormon church and become Pentecostal and was filled with the Holy Spirit. In the book, she opened up about how she got freedom and she seek to help others to get deliverance. Another topic, she looked at was cults and occults, the Jezebel spirit, shame, fear, hatred, and much more. She also included stories from others to assist you in getting freedom.
I would recommend this life changing healing book to anyone who is ready to get deliverance from their past. One of my favorite things is the prophetic word she shared about restoration and vindication. I immensely loved how she shared how God is making wrong things right and how he will pay us back double for our trouble. I appreciated how open she was in sharing her own hurtful past and how her father hurt her and caused her trauma. I loved how she devoted a whole chapter to understanding trauma and dealing with PTSD and how we can get healing. I also liked how she discussed repressed memories and whether they are real or fiction. She also tried to help others when memories may resurface later on.
"I received this book free from the publisher, Bethany House/ Chosen for my honest review.”
As someone who spends a lot of time ministering healing and deliverance, there were aspects of this book I really enjoyed, and others I did not.
Things I did not enjoy- there are areas where she speaks about her experiences as tho they will be the same for everyone else. I find everyone responds differently, and I disagree with her about this. Considering the title, I expected it to go deeper into methodologies of Healing & Deliverance, but it did not give me more methods than I already knew. I would not recommend this book for someone new to Healing & Deliverance as the depth of her trauma would likely be intense for someone who does not already have a grid for this type of ministry. Also I don’t find this book well edited.
Things I did enjoy- I have not previously read any testimonies of a person healing from SRA, and it was exciting to hear how God opened her eyes and took her thru a journey towards healing. She doesn’t claim to be perfect, or even complete in healing, but is vulnerable and real with her readers. She deals with deep subject matter. The prayers at the end of the book are useful.
This book is for everyone. Jennifer has an incredible way of making you feel validated and seen in your story and walks you through how to heal properly. The chapter on shame is powerful. Prepare yourself with tissues and time to process your own story as you read this book. There is so much hope and love written in these pages.

I give Inner Healing and Deliverance five out of five stars!
This was a great book for introducing inner healing and deliverance. All the different stories were enlightening, I think I would have liked it better if she went into more detail about inner healing and deliverance (especially with Christian’s) besides just showing stories and explaining the spirits behind them.
This book ministered to my soul and showed me areas which need continued healing and deliverance. Thank you Jennifer for your Holy Spirit inspired words. You are a walking testimony to His goodness!
Some parts were difficult to read, but I'm so glad this topic is being addressed from a Christian perspective. I pray it brings healing and restoration to those suffering from trauma.
Practical and full of wisdom. This is the book I needed. Highly recommend this gem. As a believer you will be challenged to change & given the tools for your freedom.
Wow!! This book is an excellent read for those needing healing from fear, anxiety, depression, rejection, etc. knowing that signs and symptoms are only a manifestation of another source. This book helps you to look deeper into your life and address hidden traumas, abuses, generational things, etc that are beneath the surface of your ill emotions. WARNING ⚠️ this book may be disturbing to read at times but it is a book about healing and requires us to face our ugly past to become free…. I found this book gives hope to those that think they have to accept what the enemy puts on us and provides steps and resources for overcoming negative emotions that for some of us have controlled our lives, even leaving us debilitated. There is hope and His name is Jesus…. ♥️♥️
