The more I read of this series, the more I love it. Belinda Drake is a conflicted witch who risks shifting into a snake whenever she practices magic. I feel for her. Glad to see her and Conri back together. Terrific couple. Something wicked is haunting Blackthorn Springs, and much as she doesn't want to, Belinda is drawn into it. It's up to her to save her beloved Blackthorn Springs. This story is a quick and exciting read that had me enthralled. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

A fun short story but with all the great characters and of course a mystery.
