Maccus Fury, a fallen angel, is trying hard to keep his sanity. Seems being an assassin might be catching up with him. Now, Heaven, or Hell, has sent a beautiful assassin to kill him. Lovely. She's pretending to seduce him, and he's okay with that. She's smart and snarky – but she has no idea what she's walked into. And he's more than peeved that they only sent one person. They're going to need an army if they want him dead.

Morrigan Quill is one of Hell's bounty hunters. She sold her soul to keep her sister safe, and now she's working off her contract by catching bad guys and dragging them back to hell. When Lucifer makes her a new offer – that's definitely too good to be true – she can't say no. All she has to do is kill a powerful and crazy-hot fallen angel, who will totally kick her ass in battle.

Good thing he won't see what's coming next.

Fury Unleashed is book one in the brand new series, Forgotten Brotherhood, by N.J. Walters. I have to admit that first, I was drawn to this book by the gorgeous cover. But then, ladies and gentlemen, I read the book. WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This book pretty much rocked my world, and then some. And now that I’ve finished it, yes, the cover is perfect for the hero of this story! Now, let me tell you a little bit about it!

man with tattooed wings on back - Google Search

Maccus Fury is thousands of years old. He is also a fallen angel, the wings ripped from his back by Gabriel himself. Now, Maccus is an assassin for hire, taking out the evil of the earth while padding his bank account. He is alone, always, and he trusts no one. Then Maccus is offered what was to be the chance to earn back his wings. All he has to do is one job, kill one particular red headed woman. Easy, right? Only Maccus knows better. Things are never what they appear to be.

woman with short red hair wearing leathers - Google Search

Morrigan Quill all but raised her little sister. But when her sister made a grave error in judgement, Morrigan was forced to make a choice. She chose to save her sister and signed a contract with the devil himself. Twenty five years as a demon hunter in exchange for her sister’s safety. Now, she’s only ten years in. She goes from cheap motel to cheap motel, from job to job. But then she is offered a chance by Lucifer himself to wipe the slate clean. One job. Kill one man. And her servitude is over. She is free.

“What was it about her that drew him? Why her? Why now?”

heaven vs hell - Google Search

When Morrigan and Maccus meet, was it chance or was it pre-ordained? Both have learned not to trust anyone but themselves. But neither can deny the strong pull to each other. A chemistry that sparks as hot as an inferno. Even then, both accept the time they have to be together, knowing that one or the other of them will soon die.

“He was the hunter, and she was his prey. And she was more than ready to be caught.”

This entire book was one crazy, wild ride. And I have to mention, that it is HOT! These two burn up the pages. More importantly, though, this is a battle of good vs evil. And if you think you know what I mean here, you don’t. What this also is, is a testament to the power of love and goodness. Of learning to trust, of finding that one little spark of light within you and allowing it to flare to life. This book is one surprise after another and one heck of a surprise ending. I loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series. I’ll be right here waiting for it so I can tell you all about it.

I couldn't quite believe I got an ARC for this! My luck with Netgalley is hit and miss even on the same author at times. I shot my shot and boy, was I happy I actually got this one. Even if the cover kept reminding me of Devil Jin in Tekken.(Maybe it's the pose?) I can't help how my mind works, people.

description

When I know I want/have to review a book, I tend to avoid reading others reviews or visuals as I don't want to be influenced either way. With this one I barely even read the blurb. I mean, it starts with "Maccus Fury, a fallen angel," I didn't need to know more, I was sold! And the next paragraph was "Morrigan Quill is one of Hell’s bounty hunters". What more do you need?! Praise be NetGalley Gods or I would have waited a good amount before getting this in my greedy hands. So, since I'm praising NG, you've probably gathered that I really liked this one. I can't say it was groundbreaking or flawless but much like a raw diamond even if it's not faceted it's still attention grabbing.

description

Maccus is a fallen angel. He has survived millennia and has honed his skills to the umpteen degree. After getting so powerful that even Lucifer cast him out of Hell he carves a place for himself on Earth and only wants to be left in peace. But when Heaven comes knocking in the form of Gabriel and an assassination contact he gets entangled despite himself. Maccus is the quintessential fallen angel. Tortured and holding on to his soul by the skin of his teeth.

description

Morrigan Quill sacrificed herself to save her sister. She sold her soul to Lucifer and now is in his service as a bounty hunter. She retrieves wayward demons that overstay their welcome on Earth and sends them back to hell. Morrigan has literally gone to Hell and back. Surviving the bounty boot camp and the demons she hunts, she has become a badass bounty hunter intent on completing her missions and finally getting out of the contract with Lucifer. If she dies in his service her soul is his to keep and torture for eternity. When Lucifer gives her a target to kill she can't say no even if she's not an assassin.

description

I found it rather fun, the couple didn't take long to get it on and I really liked all the players and their strengths and abilities. With dual POV and some small chapters from the baddie POV, there was no misunderstandings or dramas, no overdrawn situations or endless volumes of worldbuilding. The rumpy pumpy was maybe a bit too frequent but it was scorching. Some of the revelations were predictable but the ending was very satisfying and sets up the next book. Overall a pretty entertaining first book. I can't wait to see where N.J.Walters takes us next.

DNF at 16%. I'm not going to rate, as it's not fair when I couldn't get past page 36.

I'm going to throw this scenario at you and then that's all I'm going to say.

So, you're a blackmailed bounty hunter (blackmailed by Lucifer) and you're told if you assassinate this guy then you're free. A few pages later you just happen to meet this guy (a fallen angel) in a dark alley where he randomly helps you catch the demon you're chasing. Then, before you know it they're kissing (the insta lust is strong in this one) then you just decide, hey, you know what, I'm going to randomly follow you back to your house random guy I'm supposed to kill, and then they start to fight a bit for fun and then they are clearly going to have sex. And it's page 36.

At this point I had eye rolled so many times I couldn't take it anymore and gave up. Too many things I have no patience for.

Ugh sometimes I don't even know why I bother 😑 beautiful cover with severely disappointing story. There is nothing new about this story, it's same old recycled storyline with no creativity at all. Everything and everyone was one denominational, no character development or actual plot. This book feels more like a rough draft rather than a full length book.

I don't recommend at all. Sorry but not sorry 🤷

Forgotten Brotherhood is a new series that is gonna keep my attention. I liked the first instalment in this series. The writing style was engaging, the balance between action, suspense and steam just right, and the characters very interesting and complex.

Morrigan is a demon hunter ,she hunts them down and sends them back to hell. This is her job for 10 years , when she sold her soul to Lucifer in order to save her sister . This woman is the epitome of loyalty, strength and acceptance. I liked her, she was no damsel in distress but was nice to be able to count on another person to watch her back after so time being all alone.

Maccus is a fallen angel , known now as Hunter -immortal assassin. Both Hell and Heaven fear him and want him out of their way. He just wants to live his life peacefully with no connection with Hell or Heaven.

So what happens when this two characters are tasked with the assassination of the other one? They become lovers and allies in the search of the truth behind all this plot.
The sex between them was hot and connected them more then they wanted to. Feeling neither have felt before are born and makes them question everything in between.

As I said I liked this, but the plot felt flat sometimes. At the end I expected a big bang, a mighty fight , especially after all the book we were told how strong dangerous and powerful is Maccus, but it felt very anticlimatic.

Very good even with the immediate sex. I would have preferred if they didn't fall in bed soo soon!
Still the idea has its merits and even if it's not very novel the fallen angel and bounty hunter of demons trope is not new.
The story kept me reading, but I could predict where the story was going very soon.

Update 4/6/20
Finally the staff the wonderful librarian, and one of my favorite people in goodreads, Kitlina added the correct link. I'm a busy person and I need the links to work first time or I move on to another ebook that it's easier to find with just one click. There are so many amazing books to choose from, many readers won't give a second chance to the author if the first chance doesn't work. Sad, but true.

update 4-3-20:
still amazon link doesn't work.
Dear goodreads staff: Instead of editing my posts could you please add the link? I'm only posting the link cuz the one at the goodreads page is not working. I'll remove the purchasing link as soon as that's fixed by you or a cool librarian.

GUUUUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSS

I don't know about you but the ebook purchasing buttons in the GR page didn't work for me. It's only 4.99 the maximum I'm willing to pay for an ebook. Plus paranormal romance and angels are more to my taste than overdone FAE so here's the purchase link:

Hope it's useful for you guys!!

Guess what? I've found a new author to stalk champion! N.J. Walters... where the heck have you been all of my life? I feel like I've been missing so many opportunities to fall in love with your words and your characters because Maccus and Morrigan were two examples of how incredibly talented you are!

Some people had resting bitch face - he had resting badass face.

Maccus Fury once an angel, he was betrayed by Gabriel and spent centuries battling for survival in the pits of hell. His time there turned him into a battle-weary warrior, a feared assassin known as The Hunter, the fiercest and strongest male alive, and a threat to all higher beings. An unwarranted enemy of both Gabriel and Lucifer, he becomes a player in a game he doesn't know the rules to. Gabriel wants him to kill Morrigan Quill, a demon hunter who carries an innocence and a light to her. She's the one person who is able to truly touch him, to unleash his emotions. Will she be the one to nurture the dwindling light of his soul?

He tasted like coffee with a hint of some exotic spice. Mixed with the natural taste of hot, sexy male, it was downright addictive.

Morrigan Quill ↠ a desperate attempt to save her sister had her sacrificing her soul to Lucifer. Destined for Hell, she's trained to become a demon hunter and she's darn good at her job. When the big boss orders her to kill in exchange for wiping her contract clean, how can she refuse? She was willing to do just about anything to guarantee her and her sister's freedom. But what happens when she realizes that the man she's supposed to kill can't be killed? At least not by her. And he may be the one person who can make her feel free.

She tasted sweet, like a sugary candy he'd had once from a small shop outside of Paris. Addictive.

From the intriguing world building to the action-packed and suspenseful plot to the intriguing, I-can't-get-enough-of-them characters, I was easily captivated by this story. My only complaint is that it has taken me this long to indulge in a story by Walters. Maccus was delicious, Morrigan was endearing, and I'm looking forward to what's next in this series.

I liked it. The hero and heroine had an insta-love connection. I did not love the unwavering loyalty the heroine had to her deceptive bitch of a sister but that makes the heroine pretty dang loyal and I respect that.
I loved them as a couple, they were badass and adorable.
I wished I had an epilogue of them in the future, that would have been awesome.

I think I am going to check out more books by this author :)

Ok I have to start by mentioning that beautiful cover because obviously it snagged my attention because it's gorgeous ! I've not read a lot by this author so it was quite nice to find this book which is the first in this new series pitting heaven against hell or does it ? You see it begins with fallen Angel Maccus being given a contract from Archangel Gabriel to kill Morrigan but then Morrigan who is a bounty hunter for hell is instructed by Lucifer to kill Maccus ! Confused ? Well you might not be but both Maccus and Morrigan refuse to be pawns in this unholy game.
What on earth can I say about this without giving away too much ? Morrigan has learned to be tough but there's a huge part of her that is good and she so wants to believe that others can be redeemed. Maccus is absolutely pure cave man and his reactions to Morrigan are intense and downright carnal ! It's easy to dislike Lucifer because he's manipulative and cruel but the big surprise for me was Gabriel because I honestly hadn't expected his motives. This is steamy but it's also really about trust and learning to love. It was a story with surprises and an ending that made me smile but it leaves the way clear for other characters to get well and truly caught up in the cross hairs as powerful beings seek to redress the balance between good and evil.
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

3 - Muscle and menace... Stars.

We begin N. J. Walters new Forgotten Brotherhood series with a fallen angel and a demon hunter becoming unlikely allies & lovers. Both tasked with killing the other, things definitely don’t go according to plan on either side.

If ease of reading was the only thing I rated this book on it would be a five, but the problem I have is that although Fury Unleashed was no struggle, the promising plot lacked any real depth or development due to the copious amounts of sex taking place between the H/h, ‘is she mad’ I hear you say, who complains about too much sex? Well I do (occasionally), especially when I know the calibre of this authors writing, and while her reads are always sexy, they usually have a stellar plot and background development to balance that out.

"I never had a good thing before…"

"…Until now."

Being the first book in the series, I expected a bit more world building, and although there are several secondary characters introduced, I don’t really feel I know anyone more about them at the end of the book than I did that the beginning, including Maccus and Morrigan because they were literally all over each other from first meeting and were stuck together like two mating dogs for a large part of the rest of the book. Their pasts weren’t touched on much until the last 10% or so of the book, which disappointed me too, because they could have been so much more in depth.

Alas, not a total win, but I am intrigued to see where this series goes, as I said the author is one I can read easily and without much need for a deep and meaningful storyline (like this one) but I know she writes with more depth than this, and I hope the rest of the series offers as much story as it does sex, because as much as I love a good bonk-athon, I like there to be a story to back it up as well.

“I never had a good thing before…”

“…Until now.”

First Impressions
Fury Unleashed is a story that completely blew me away and my expectations of this book went out the window on this one. I have heard so many great things about this one here and I have had this book on my kindle for quite a while now and yes I was first drawn to this book due to the cover and I am in love with it. This cover is a work of art especially with it being a self-published work so bravo to this author. But the story inside is just as powerful as the cover evokes. I read this in less than two hours!! A 400 pages book….well let me tell you, that means I truly loved it. This is a kick-ass romance that won my heart and is the type of enemies to lovers type of setup that worked for me completely and you all probably know by now how picky I am about that trope and it doesn’t always work for me, but my heart was won over within the first two chapters. I do term this a mythological fantasy though, not a UF or a PNR at all, and those that read this will know what I mean by that. But I was impressed with this book as a whole and can’t wait to delve more into this author’s writing.

He might believe he was all darkness, but she saw the good in him, the honor.

Summary
The story sets off with our hero, who is an assassin and a fallen angel and has been in both the worlds of heaven and hell and survived and created his own talents to survive. But then the archangel Gabriel who he once called friend, calls upon him to kill a demon bounty hunter, and then he will have his wings again. But Maccus isn’t going to take Gabriel’s word for it, he goes out to investigate this mysterious woman that he is to kill. Our badass bounty hunter, Morrigan, has no choice in what she does. She sealed a deal with Lucifer to save her sister and is contracted with him to do his demands. But he offers her a deal, kill Maccus, and she will be free from him. But when Maccus comes to her aid, Maccus and Morrigan realize that their meeting is no coincidence nor is they both being contracted to kill each other by the heads of the individual parties of heaven and hell. Both Maccus and Morrigan have explosive chemistry and instantly act upon their desire for each other, but despite the passion, there is something deeper surfacing between them and they are determined to get to the bottom of the subplots against them. But will Morrigan and Maccus find a way out of this challenging conflict or will they have no choice but abandon the love they have for each other….

What I Loved
Fury Unleashed is a story that bowled me over in all of the best of ways. I was so swept away by this romance and it worked for me in so many ways. First off the characters were so tangible and breathed new life in this reader. I was so invested behind both Maccus and Morrigan just on an individual level. Maccus you can tell has been through the extremes with losing his wings and having to develop certain abilities as he was forced into hell and had to learn to survive. And then we have Morrigan, who traded herself in the contract for the life of her sister. While she can be badass, she has these sweet vulnerabilities that made her seem so relatable. The relationship between Morrigan and Maccus is explosive from the beginning, but I also respected that they were more curious about each other and were intelligent enough to realize that there was much more going on than just a contract for them to kill each other. They just didn’t take these higher beings at their word. And when it came down to it, they were willing to show the depth of their love for each other and what commitment is displayed in this story. I just ate it all up and just wanted more. This romance was such an intricately layered story that offers depths and surprises along the way that you won’t be disappointed with.

What I Struggled With
Hardly anything….there were a LOT of sex scenes though. So might not work for everyone.

Overall View
Fury Unleashed was a story of sacrifice, inner depths of transformation of character, and an explorative journey into the realm of love and desire that will capture the reader’s attention in an unforgettable way!

Maccus Fury - a fallen angel who has the devil and an archangel after him. Morrigan Quill - a human demon hunter who sold her soul to save her sister, their paths should never have crossed, but due to the manipulations of the King of Hell and a power hungry archangel they met - neither expecting what will occur when they do.

Good level of action and steam in this, and I found myself cheering for Maccus and Morrigan. Small moments when I wanted a little more emotional intensity between the two, but only a smidge.

I really enjoyed the latter half of the book, I just wish Lucifer and Gabriel had had their assess kicked a bit more, especially Gabriel. Wanted a bit more oomph when it came to that big final scene when they realise Morrigan and Maccus

I will be coming back for book 2 once it's released.

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.

When I stumbled upon this beautiful cover and riveting synopsis about a fallen angel and a demon bounty hunter I knew that I have to read this! This story really captivated me.

I really liked the main characters. They were very likable and surprisingly relatable. I think that there were some missed opportunities with the characters in terms of complexity. They could have used a lot more depth. The character growth was sufficient for the amount of information that we are given about the characters. Again, some missed opportunities there. For instance, Forgotten Brotherhood is the name of the series and very little was explained about it in this book. The characters were still enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the writing. The author's voice is one that really spoke to me and I found myself lost in the pages of this book easily. The writing was smooth and elegant at the same time.

This story is very character-based. There isn't an awful lot of world-building and a lot of it builds off of what the reader is already familiar with in the paranormal genre. There is certainly enough for the story to get by and be satisfying but I would have liked to see more original world-building. Even though the world-building was limited, I still had a good sense of things around the characters. The world-building components just didn't have a lot of depth. The plot of the story was something that also needed some more depth. While I liked the way that things ended in the story, the journey could have used some more details.

The romance in the story was definitely hot but it was a little too instalove for my taste. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy the romance, because I did, but the instalove still rubbed me the wrong way. I did like the connection that Morrigan and Maccus had and I really enjoyed watching them get close.

Overall, this was an exciting story that was super fun to read. It could have used more depth in many areas but it was a good read nonetheless. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series. I am very curious about the other members of the Forgotten Brotherhood and I am eager to see how the characters from this book connect in everything. If you are into hot paranormal romance then I would definitely give this one a shot.

Maccus Fury is a fallen angel who has become an assassin. When Gabriel shows up wanting to hire him to kill Morrigan Quill he wants to find out why. Morrigan is a bounty hunter who sold herself to the devil, when he shows up wanting her to kill Maccus she is not sure what he has done to tick off the Lucifer. Thinking she will seduce him she does not expect that the attraction is mutual or that Maccus is out to end her as well. Now they are fighting the growing feelings for one another while staying alive at the same time.

There is so much more to this particularly with Morrigan she has a huge back story that plays into the plot. I thought this was a terrific kick off to a new series. I liked the build up and thought it was a refreshing take to this type of storyline. A new series that will knock your socks off.

This is going to be great for those that love the Black Dagger Brotherhood or the Lords of the Underworld series. It follows the same type of format only this time around Lucifer is the big bad.

The writing is great! No problems there are all. There's lots of sex in this book so if you're looking for that, you've found it. Personally, I prefer just a wee bit less sex but it's not a game-changer I just skip the sex scenes after I get bored with them.

The characters are great!!! I loved Morrigan and Marccus and how they came together and learned to trust one another. It's very kinda insta-love.... they sleep together a few times and she's already falling for him. So that's a trope I hate to pieces but this time it didn't ruin the story because there was more going on to keep me reading. I will say that Morrigan got the short end of the stick in life! I feel for her so much because I too would have done anything for my younger sister.

I'm really excited to read the next book because I'm pretty sure it's about a vampire and while I love fallen angels, vampires top everything. So bring on the next book!

I will say that the ending is a good HEA that is really wrapped up in a pretty bow. A bow that really stretched to fit the ending. But hey, I enjoyed it and stayed up late into the night reading even when my brain was freaking out over the covid-19 stuff. So it gets a win in my book!!

Mr. & Mrs. Smith was such a great movie - I think it wasn’t until like the 8th time I watched it I realized the premise was a bit...muddled. Why did each of the Smiths handlers want the other Smith killed?

Same deal here, only Marcus & Morgan (yeah...not the H/h real names, the author calls each some found-in-Kindle-porn-only-to-be-unique names I couldn’t deal with when reading) are PNR killers that don’t work for the Government but are pitted against one another cause Lucifer & Gabriel, Hell & Heaven Leaders, disagree on which of them has the bigger dick. The H/h hook up almost on page 1 but it works, the sex is plentiful, some surprises such as the h’s daddy come later and are disjointed as is some of the story telling, the bitch sister of the h has the good hair but gets her comeuppance, and more stories to come make me ready to auto buy.

Sigh...I really adored Brangelina.

Maccus is a fallen angel and an assassin. But when an angel comes and tries to hire him to kill a human, he refuses but is still curious why he wants her dead.

Morrigan is one of Hell's bounty hunters. She traded herself for 25 years so that her younger sister could have a safe life. But when Lucifer himself comes to her and gives her a bounty and tells her to kill Maccus, she knows this is no normal demon bounty.

Maccus runs into Morrigan when she's chasing after a demon. The instant attraction they feel for each other isn't smothered by the shocking revelation that each feels when they realize that they other is someone they are supposed to kill. Neither of them trust each other at first but after a night of wild, hot, sex they sit and talk trying to figure out why Lucifer and archangel Gabriel want them dead.

My heart broke for both of them time and time again. Not only for what they had gone through but for what I knew was coming and I had no doubt that it would be messy, hard and hurtful. The truth of what they had both been through was horrifying. They had both been in hell, tortured and now not only could they barely trust each other but they knew that each other was all they had.

Trying to figure out why the archangel Gabriel and Lucifer are in essence working together to get them to kill each other was frustrating. But when the truth's come out, the betrayals come to the surface and they both find out what's really going on, it was crazy. But it was wonderful to see how this ended because not only did it bring tears to my eyes but I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens next. I can't say enough good things about this book. If you like fallen angels and demons then you need to read this book...right now!

Disclosure: I was given an ARC of this book via NetGalley but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really wanted to love this book, the story was promising. Nothing original but it could have been a real roller coaster...

Disappointed is an understatement, everything was done upside down the beginning of their relationship was rushed there was no progression.
Everything was mixed and thrown at ounce....
there were no founding grounds for the plot, even the revelations fell flat 99.99% of the time.

Maccus and Morrigan' relationship skyrocketed in two/three days and suddenly we "FELL IN LOVE!!"
*facepalm* when their so hot attraction was not explained, and endless repeating of "this is not coincidence" and "this is fate" I was just about ready throw my e reader across the room in exasperation

There is nothing that indicates that fated mates exist in this world or some sort of out of the sort relationship. It was just ThEre *insert meme*

I apologize for my insensitive rambling 🙏🏻

Amazing start to a new Walters' series. Heaven/Gabriel is ordering a hit on Morrigan Quill who is a bounty hunter for HELL. Lucifer is ordering her to kill Maccus a Fallen Angel and a Hunter himself. When they meet it is not steel that slashes but their hearts that get the arrow. Lots of in depth building of the main characters and their back stories. Oh yeah lots of action too. Not exactly a cliff hanger but a want from this reader to know what comes next. "A copy of this book was provided by Entangled via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

Sadly, I loved the cover a LOT more than the story. This is a very insta-lust type of book with lots of action. And honestly, them going at it not even 25% into the story turned me off.

Also, as I kept reading, in my head, I kept calling the H's name Mucus instead of Maccus. LOL And purely because of the way my brain works, he lost "sexy points" because how can a hero with a name Mucus be sexy.

3.5/5*

Original review

This book was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Entangled: Amara!

Fury Unleashed
is the first book in the Forgotten Brotherhood series and tells the story of Maccus and Morrigan.

What first intrigued me about this book was the cover. The dark wings and the handsome guy… I just had to know what this book was about. The story sounded so interesting and it didn’t disappoint! I really liked the story and the characters, it was such an original take on angels and demons. The only problem I had was something with the pacing. I cannot really explain it but that was the thing that bothered me a bit.

Maccus is such a mysterious character and you want to know what is going through his head. I really liked the multiple perspectives because you had the chance to read about Maccus’ thoughts. Morrigan is such a badass woman, and I love her for that. She’s fierce and a fighter, and just perfect for Maccus! They’re a match made in heaven, if you know what I mean lol.

Fury Unleashed is a good first book in a new series about angels and demons. I really liked the story and characters in general and I’m really excited for the next book in the Forgotten Brotherhood series.

3.5 sexy hot stars!

If it was for the romance and the main characters, this books would be a 10 stars!
But the plot has more holes than a Swiss cheese attacked by a mischief of rats!

I liked the writing, even with all the smut. Will read the next one but i hope the book is better, plot wise!

Really enjoyed this book. It's a great start to the series. I can't wait to see what mischief the bad guys stir up for the rest of the brotherhood.
