Losing someone important left a deep scar in Lan’s heart, prompting him to search for the key to enter the Ghost Realm for thousands of years. As the key, Xue Wei entered this unknown realm alongside the deity and encountered a world, unlike the one he knew.In the living world, death was not horrible, as even a dead plant would enter the circle of life and become something else, however, the Ghost Realm was devoid of life, and only souls would roam about. Their way of living was different from everything he was used to, and soon this strange new world expanded his horizons. They entered the Ghost Realm with the intention of locating and retrieving Lan’s sweetheart, but what they found reversed their entire understanding of the past and the future. I am Tinalynge, an aspiring author who is deeply inspired by eastern fantasy such as wuxia, xianxia, and xuanhuan. The first story I wrote was Blue Phoenix, a series I poured my very heart and soul into creating.
Since I started writing, I have finished Blue Phoenix at eight books, Overthrowing Fate at three books and began Condemning the Heavens. Although I have finished two series so far, I still consider myself a beginner in the world of writing. I am aware that my writing still needs to evolve and grow to become better, and as a result, I work very hard daily to improve my writing and produce stories that people can enjoy reading.
Thank you, everyone, who has read my books, I am sure that with your continued support I will be able to continue improving and create worlds filled with wonder and excitement.
This is a Covid book , a gap filler. Was expecting so much but I must say this book was one those that don’t advance the story in any way, if you read book nine and the skip to the last 2 chapters of this one you won’t miss a thing . Takes forever for nothing to happen. Tinalynge has only herself to blame , she gave us such fantastic books and then this ! Must say I was disappointed with this one. Maybe this is book 9.5 and the real book ten is yet to come. I mean there were chapters in her other books with more content than this . I really like the author but this one is a let down. Sorry.

The World had promise and I really hoped it would improve. Unfortunately it's so terribly written and REPETITIVE. OMG.
The books aren't long, but even so I have to skim and skip so much of it to avoid reading the same damn thing explained 10 times within the same chapter. It's maddening!
I hate to agree with other reviews but this one did feel forced. Like the author got tired of the series and just put this one out since was already writing it or something. Seeing as it's been over a year and the new one hasn't been finished, I could see it.
While the story was interesting, it does seem to just drop off a lot of stuff. Like MC is told to store energy for King Rank yet later in the book when things happen, nothing is mentioned about how storing his energy helped or not.
That seed in his heart that supposed to be killing him that he is supposed to be able to consume, the plant? Not at all mentioned in this book. It's like it just disappeared.
And Never tried to get the old techniques from heritage ring that he missed out on or see if there were new ones.
And if I have to hear 'One has to know' or 'One should know' ...one more time..
Final...STILL haven't done anything with that Egg /rock/ that his spirit dragon wanted way back on the original land in the Golden Crow City, golden chamber auction where he sold formations and got a mysterious item that his dragon spirit wanted..
Oh...and they say earlier that they can't mutate with essence blood his companion until king rank...then go ahead and try it. Like...really?
So great story but so many things left out and just doesn't seem all that important.
And if I have to hear 'One has to know' or 'One should know' ...one more time..
Glad to have this series back, missed reading it. The move to another world was very interesting and some unexpected stuff happen in this book. There are also some very good moments with Lan, and we find out some stuff from the past. Don't know what else to say without going into spoilers so I'll end it at that, overall enjoyed the read.
