This is a brilliant series. Who hasn't heard of Robin Hood, Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, and so many more fairy tales that are part of our childhood? What if the HEAs were all ruined and had to be redone? This is exactly that, trying to fix the ruined HEAs of our childhood favorite characters... It's not as easy as it sounds and sometimes the HEA are not quite the ones we expected, but they are the ones they deserve. The fact that all characters in all the fairy tales interact with each other and live close by is just the cherry on top. This is a rewrite/reinvention of the stories we grew up listening to that made me love them even more. I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
I have read each of these stories individually as they released. It is such a great compilation of classic fairytales from "my youth" and I delighted in the unique way these two authors "reimagined" them. Quite enticing and they kept me riveted once I started reading them. They are all complete stories, don't rely on reading earlier books, and all have a very nice ending with no cliffhangers. A great buy whether for yourself or as a gift for someone. I did read these individual books as an ARC reader, but not this boxset. This is my voluntary and honest review with my own personal opinions. VICKI FROM JHWYO
You are so lucky to get all 4 of the books in this series in this one book. I had to wait a while for the stories to be written before I could read them. I have enjoyed each very much. You do want to read them in order as they build on each other. I am anxiously awaiting the next ones in the series! I received a free copy of each. This is my voluntary opinion.
