This book was weird. It read like 2 different books cobbled together. The whole council and one alpha thing were not properly explained 🤨. Skipped a bunch of the smut.

If you like Sexy Shifter Romance - This book is all kinds of HOT!!
I honestly needed a cold a shower after a few of the spicy scenes - Emilia really knows how to do the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ lol
The actual story is really great and I loved the relationship between Callum and Bria. This was my first read with such an age gap and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Callum’s love for Bria after waiting so long to find his mate is really beautiful. And the way she comes out of her shell throughout the book, it’s done so well.
My half a star loss comes from the ending (about the last 1/4 of the book) that I felt was abit rushed. I feel like there were some key moments left out/not explained properly that I think could have cleared up a few things.
But overall I loved it. Emilia is a fantastic author and I love her work so much!

Eighteen-year-old Bria Benton is off to college and starts her first day by running into her Classics professor, Callum Lee. At forty-three Callum had pretty much given up hope of finding his mate, so instead of searching, he focused his time on his alpha duties and teaching. Then he met Bria and his whole world changed.
Even though they are mates, their relationship is forbidden, and to complicate matters further, Bria is human and doesn't know about werewolves. With the odds stacked against them, they pursue the relationship anyway. Due to the appearance of Bria's ex-boyfriend (Adan-alpha of the pack where she is from), she must reveal that she is hiding from her family, who sold her to "The (Werewolf) Council"
Now, Callum must protect her from her family, the school, and Thiago-head of "The Council". As well as teaching her about werewolves and preparing her for shifting for the first time.
Holy cow, I feel like I just got smacked in the face with a smutty, spicy, emotional rollercoaster of a book. My one issue is that I felt it ended very quickly, even with the two-part bonus epilogue. I don't know that I have the full closure I was looking for in this standalone.
I will say though, that I was hesitant about such a large age gap. I usually stick with a ten to fifteen-year span at most, unless they are immortals, but I really enjoyed this. The eleven spicy scenes were definitely many points in this book's favor! Prepare yourself. 🙃

This is a great werewolf read. Emilia writes some of my favorite, they always have all of the classic elements you love but with a new element that makes them something I have to read! Professor Lee is also Alpha Lee, who teaches mythology at the local college, Bria Benton is an eighteen years old human college student, who is also a lot of trouble especially for Professor Lee. In more ways then one I might add..
There is also just the right amount of action to balance out the rest of the story, making this an exciting and quick read.

I absolutely loved Callum and Bria. The chemistry between these two was off the charts. I loved the dynamic and the banter between them. Bria meets Callum when she accidentally bumps into him in the hallway at college. Callum immediately knows that she is his mate. From that time forward they were attracted to each other, but Callum of course fought the attraction because she’s his student. Then they both couldn’t fight the attraction any longer. He made sure no one hurt her or put their hands on her. This was definitely a hot read. I definitely recommend.

It's as if the author started writing pure smut (nothing wrong with that) but then decided she wanted to shift into full pack/paranormal universe drama mode instead, but without really developing her world building first. As a result nothing really feels cohesive here, and the beginning of the story feels like it's a completely different one than the ending.
So...not the worst that I've read? But overall left me feeling pretty flat. Bummed, since this is one I actually paid money to read.

5 ⭐️I absolutely loved this book! Bria is a badass FMC. Callum and Bria’s love story is one of my favorites. He was searching and waiting for her for 43 years🥺 And he was everything she ever wanted. The possessiveness between these 2 was so hot 🥵 The praise that came from him 😮💨And his breeding kink 🔥I couldn’t get enough of this book. I need more!

That was just too adorable. I neglected to mention how much I adore Mates/Soulmate books. Bria starts out timid and reserved, but by the end of the book, she has grown into a powerful woman whose orders you should never disregard. Professor Lee is also unbelievably attractive and seductive. It's very sweet to see how much he loves her. Though this sounds terrifying to me, I'm glad that he would prefer losing his job over losing her. However, since it's a book, it's adorable.

I love Emilia's stories and My Werewolf Professor does not disappoint! Bria seems like a normal college student, she even has a crush in her professor. Little does she know that he is a werewolf and her mate. Callum is the sexiest professor you will meet and loses control around Bria. The dirty talking, steamy looks, and office hours are off the charts!

I am a sucker for a good PNR book and this one legit sucked me in and I binge read this baby so quick. Normally when I love a book like I do this one when it's over I am sad. But Emilia really out did herself and legit gave us everything we needed with this story so I wasn't left needing anything but maybe a cold shower. Well rounded story with lots of spice.

The moments of love and connection between bria and Callum hook you and the steamy moments are just to die for! This is one of my favourite werewolf books and I’ll be reading it again and again when I can’t find one that hooks me as well.

I really enjoyed this book. However, most of the book is pretty much just word porn. I enjoyed the story thoroughly and would definitely recommend it to others.

Well this was a very big shift in reading for me. As it was a comic, there was a lot of shock factor in this as the illustrations were big…if ya know what I mean.

This story has a good plot that I enjoyed to read and a great ending. I would of given it 4/5 Starts but I prefer Emelia Rose Bad Boys of Redwood Academy stroys more. But thas just my preference as a reader.

I think I was expecting a much more surface-level plot, or at least solely a romantic one. Instead I also got pack rivalries and dynamics. 3 stars.

Bria knew that something was different with her just didn’t realize exactly what until she took a specific course at the college with the incredibly hot professor. I love how Callum tors his best not to cross the lines between his profession and actually finding his mate. But when that thin line snaps, phew!! Holy hotness!!
