Recent high school graduate and amateur surfer Jeff Dean is enjoying the easy life. He lives in a nice home on the Jersey Shore, has zero bills to pay. However, when his mother kicks him out of the house on his eighteenth birthday for misbehaving, his peaceful standard of living is ruined

Several weeks later when Jeff, broke and homeless, meets a gorgeous older woman in New York City, she gives him a place to stay and the two eventually become lovers.

Soon though it becomes apparent to Jeff that his new girlfriend, an aspiring fashion designer, is leading a secret life. Against his better judgment, Jeff becomes a part of that same secret deadly world. And before long the couple are forced to go on the run, before the FBI has a chance to apprehend them for the senseless murders of more than a half dozen innocent people.

Just, wow. This thing has hundreds of ratings. There is no excuse for the lack of quality here. Countless grammar and spelling mistakes, type errors and missing words, unintentional changes in tense through the whole book, and comically embarrassing sex scenes. This feels like Richard Laymon if he forgot how to write and proofread. Fun story but the presentation really couldn’t have been much worse. I doubt I will read Meany again because of the lack of respect he obviously has for his work and his readers.

I enjoyed this book and seeing just how much Jeffery gets manipulated throughout this book. I was reading this almost shocked at how quickly he was manipulated, and how much he couldn't see that he was being manipulated. But that's usually how abuse goes right? About the time that Jeff starts getting suspicious of Shiela I found myself rolling my eyes at how obvious she was being. I wanted to yell at Jeff personally.

Four stars, because the premise was good, the story developed well, but some of the spelling and grammar mistakes were atrocious! I'm sure some of it was formatting issues, but there were some blatant grammar and spelling mistakes that could have easily been avoided.

All in all, I enjoyed the story.

Cougar seduced young guy, who was homeless. He goes to live with her. She has some secrets. Once he finds out, he is already sucked into her life. Things happen.

While the story itself was decent, I couldn't help but notice time and time again the many, many grammatical errors.
This book was full to the brim of bad punctuation and obvious spelling errors, and that really did take away from the enjoyment factor of reading a well written novel.

The story itself was decent, but there were many grammatical errors... Especially with comma use! Sometimes I had to re-read a sentence a couple times to understand the actual meaning. Also, the ending was less than exceptional.

Ugh!

Wanted this book to end from the first chapter to the last page! The protagonist was so ignorant and juvenile thinking that I started to highlight his most ignorant thoughts and ridiculous decisions. The only reason I kept on reading was because I had paid good money for it. Both pro and antagonist were just too stupid to be real people Ugh!

Juvenile

This book was horribly written. Don't know if money is awarded for dropping brand names , in which case he will be rich. But in any event John needs more practice.
