Excellent study for a new Christian who’s learning about the spiritual disciplines or for someone who’s coming back to the fold. Packed with scripture to reinforce the concepts of each day - this is a great book to remind you that the spiritual disciplines exist, not as a check box system, but as a heart desire to bring us closer to God himself. This would be an excellent study to gift a newer Christian or someone celebrating a new milestone in their faith journey such as the public announcement of their transformation through baptism.

This was nice & quick. Loaded with a lot of good information & helpful directions on living out the spiritual disciplines. Great for Christians who don't know much about the disciplines & need a place to start! I'll definitely keep this for a reference to fall back on when needed.

3 stars because some of the days were less engaging than the others & I lost interest part way through.
