Brilliant mini series taking you from the frozen iron centre of the earth all the way to the upper atmosphere.

Rating: 3 stars - I liked it

This is a six episode podcast about Earth. It starts at the center of the Earth and covers everything to space. This was a very interesting series and covered everything from plate tectonics to global warming. It does get a bit technical at times but I think they did a good job at explaining everything.

Also I liked that interviews with various professionals were included and it wasn’t just the author providing all the information. The audio quality for those does fluctuate though.

Not as fun as a Grown-Up Guide to Dinosaurs. Very science-y. I did not always follow.

My 12-year-old listened to the whole thing with me and seemed to enjoy it. He kept asking for the next episode. But he did remark that he thought it would be better as a show noting the frequent use of the phrase "if you look over here." Yeah, we can't see it. It's an audiobook.

Included with my Audible membership and a nice and short listen while I was doing other stuff. Interesting and informative with a great production. It sounded as good as a TV documentary, which did make me wish it was a TV program so I could see the wonders they are describing too.

Perhaps not quite as enjoyable as the other two in the series, more due to the content of those being slightly more accessible, however still an incredibly fun listen all summer up. Very fascinating and even though very technical at times, this didn’t drag it down and was easy to navigate.
