I spent several times reading this book holding my breath. Just thought of getting caught is exciting and stressful. Hope and Evan have a rocky beginning and a lot of push and pull in their relationship.
I was beginning to think we weren't going to get a HEA. Hope spends way too much time worrying about everyone else's opinion. Thankfully, she gets her act together and so does Evan. Great read.
Can't wait for Yvette's story.

I don’t even think I’m going to get into it with this one. Just note that there is a huge difference between a sexual dominant and a sociopathic assh*le.
The premise of this book is that the hero seduces the heroine because he thinks she is his enemy’s wife. Turns out she’s his sister, but that makes it even better. His plan is to screw her dirty, make her fall in love with him, and then dump her. To make this plot even worse, she knows this is why he is pursuing her and she f*cks him anyway because the sex is good, she likes being treated badly in bed (we won’t call it dominated as he is just an ass to her and this gives true bdsm a bad name).
So the premise is terrible, yet I kept reading almost as a fascinated observer. I read this book like Jane Goodall with her chimps. How low and debased would this author go in the name of smut? Would she attempt to redeem this hero?
The answers are very very low, and yes she makes him have a complete about face 2/3 of the way through, now he wants a relationship and is in love. And the whole revenge f*ck and dump plan? It’s brushed away like it wasn’t the most heinous and disgusting and psychopathic idea ever to grace the pages of a book. No apology, no redemption, no “what kind of fucking low life asshole degenerate am I?” moment. Nope. They are just in love and everything is peachy and he is sweet and wonderful, the end.
Ok apparently I did want to get into it with this one. Jesus! Do not read this book.

If you like Dr McDreamy and Dr McSteamy from TV then you will ❤️ this story. A hospital setting with lots going on. Evan is Dr playboy and he just met his match with Hope who happens to be the sister of Steven who is Evans boss. Drama, HOT sex, life and hopefully ❤️ make this a great read!

If you like romantic comedies and enemies with benefits you'll enjoy this book. Dr. Evan Lacroix is an emergency room doctor who starts an affair out of revenge against his top rival. He beds Hope thinking she is his wife but is really his sister. Things heat up when she finds out his scheme and the drama intensifies. The book is a fun read with lots of chemistry and cute dialogue. Some hurdles but eventually an HEA and no cliffhanger. The characters were well developed and the story line as entertaining. Struggled with rating
I struggled with rating this book. There is a LOT going on in this story, a lot of characters to keep track of. This story centers around Hope and Evan but you get pieces of other couples’ stories mixed in. There are a lot of names to remember for this length of book. There should be a miscarriage trigger warning.
Pros: Great steamy scenes (especially if you love a little dominance with some name calling) and the writing was enjoyable.
Cons: Too many characters to keep track of but mostly I hate when the main characters act like children. Evan was really terrible at the beginning, I struggled really believing she would continue meeting up with him. The I started disliking Hope in the second half. She was completely unfair but Evan’s response was so high school.
I enjoyed the steamy scenes but I wouldn’t read again and I don’t know about the other books in the series. I really prefer to like the main characters.

Evan thinks he is starting a fling with his rival's wife but that turns out to not be true. She's the sister and just when he thinks he needs to change because she is becoming important to him, she finds out what the real reason was he started the affair! Oh boy, grovel time. Can he make her see that she really means something to him? Or will she turn her back on him? I loved the instant attraction they both felt with each other and it was fun to watch the relationship develop after the misunderstanding. Cute story with some laughs and some serious moments!

He’s the hot er doctor and she’s new and the sister of his rival. When Evan mistaken Hope for someone else the fun starts! A steamy romance read filled with drama, hot chemistry and an enjoyable storyline. I love how this enemies to lovers romance becomes more and ended with a HEA.

Iffy start but great finish
Full disclosure that Evan was a complete jerk in the beginning. I'm all for arrogant guys but he was so rude it made him very unlikable. But then he got better and the story was fantastic! Hope got stupid at the end but still a great ending.

I loved this book. The story was good and the characters were well written. Evan and Hope are a cute couple despite the reasons they met. I lived their chemistry. And I loved the ending.

*Spoilers* I loved this story and I loved Hope and for the most part I somewhat liked Evan. I was intrigued by the idea of Steven Ericson's nemesis falling for his little sister, and that's exactly what I got. The relationship between Evan and Hope was angsty and entertaining. I really like Hope and how she knew what she wanted for the most part and was enjoying her time with Evan. What I didn't like was the reasons behind why Evan went after Hope in the first place. What kind of grown man assumes his sister got pregnant and then chooses to have sex with that man's wife as revenge? It was just so childish and put me off of the Evan character from the beginning. He did somewhat redeem himself towards the end but he was just such a dumbass.

A Medical RomCom.
The author has written a solid RomCom located in a hospital setting. The chemistry between the ER Dr., Steven and the brilliant prosthetic engineer, Hope, is hot and their verbal exchanges brilliantly cutting and funny. Some Characters are from other books in this series that now, due to liking this story, want to go back and read.
There is an HEA but some twists and loops to jump through before reached…just what I like. So I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. PEACE.

DNF. Dr. Evan LaCroix is gross and nasty.
At 6% in, he thinks this about Hope Ericsson, (a woman whom he assumes is married to his nemesis,) “God, she was more f’ ing beautiful than he remembered. He wanted nothing more than to defile her with his cum all over her face.”
At 8%, he thinks this, “Part of the reason he’d been using her full name was to remind himself of exactly who she was. He was about to f’ck his nemesis’s wife. It was going to be sweet revenge when he shot his load deep into her c*nt.”
Classy! (Said no one ever.)
He thinks all his sleazy behavior can be rationalized because he assumes his sister was knocked up by Hope’s brother. I’m assuming he’s dead wrong but even if he were right, since when do grown ups punish others for another’s wrong doing? You know who does that? Psychopaths.
I’m not a prude but this guy isn’t sexually awake; he is a creep. His choosing to use the word “defile” says it all. I’d guess this book will appeal to readers who like dom/sub banter where the woman enjoys getting bossed around during sexual encounters and called names like “slut” and “whore.” Not for me. HARD PASS.

Evan is am ER doctor and Hope invented some new prosthetic.
Evan thinks she is marries to the asshole who knocked up his sister and left her so he is determined to make her cheat. I didn't like him at the start, he's just kinda gross. He mentions all the women at the hospital he has been with
She has the hots for him the first time they meet and the second time she is letting him eff her in her office. I'm not a fan of the degrading stuff its not my thing.
He finds out she is not the assholes wife but his sister and since his sister is hurting her decides to make Hope fall in love with him and then dump her. Yeah not a fan!
She says she hates then sleeps with him, then she hates him, then she sleeps with him. It got boring and she has no standards!
They have sex everyday basically and to my surprise he falls first. Once he decided he wanted her for real he became a much better character.
There's a weekend where all there joint friends go to the beech and there were so many characters it was hard to keep up.
He then learns that it wasn't Hopes brother who knocked up his sister. I don't understand why he didn't just ask that in the first place. He lost a friend for no reason!
She is so annoying the closer to the end you get. He is my enemy. I hate him. Its just a fling! Eyeroll!
At 85% they haven't had one conversation about their relationship and she tells him they should see other people then goes nuclear when she sees him with another woman. He doesn't do anything with anyone else but she lets a guy kiss her which I didn't like. The whole making each other jealous was just boring!
Then their back together. No talking, no her apologising (cos it should have been her) nothing. Just I love you and done!! And no scene with her bother who is a big part of their story from the start.

I also don't understand why we got so much of Steven and Whitney's story in this. I don't really need to read their book now cos I know what happens!

A fantastic story
I really enjoyed reading this book. I read about Hope and Evan in Wicked Hot Baby Daddy and had to read this book to read their story. I loved the characters introduced in this book and now I’m on a mission to read all of the stories in this series. The storyline is strong and full of hot fun times and depth that makes you fall in love with the people these characters are. Things with Hope and Evan start with an act of spite, but soon feelings come in to play and then they are in love. The ending was a little flat, but I’m guessing we will read more in the other books in the series. Still would recommend this book.

I really loved this book!!
Evan and Hope were a great couple! This story was steamy and sweet and so much fun!!
Evan was a lovable ass, who dominated Hope in the bedroom. Hope was sassy and smart and kept Evan on his toes and called him on his shit.
I’m only giving it four stars because it seemed like Hope was just trying to sabotage a good thing, and I couldn’t get behind her when she tried pushing Evan away for essentially liking her too much. What?!
But it really was a great story. It kept me hooked and rooting for these two to get their happily ever after.

This book is steamy and full of snark. Dr.Evan Lacroix is arrogant and determined to get back at his nemesis. When he meets Hope Ericson he finds her to be the perfect tool for revenge. He soon realizes that fate has other plans. Hope is full of sass and isn’t afraid to go head to head with Evan. They have chemistry that is off the charts. This book is entertaining and will draw you into the story!

Let's face it - Dr Evan Lacroix is so full of it but gosh, he's sexy and so arrogant. Hope Ericsson makes him want more and the insane chemistry between then adds to their compatibility. With the start of their relationship is based on vengeance, when the truth comes out, do they have a chance of a future? What a fabulous, sizzling book - loved both the characters, especially Hope who takes none of Evan's arrogance seriously. Worthy addition to the series!

loved it !!! love Hope... love Evan... this is their story... a fast paced drama... Dr. Evan has revenge on his mind... he will bed his rival's wife... okay... easy right ? when he finds out , it's the sister... even better.. until , he catches feelings... right about then , she finds out what's going on...

Hope and Evan's story is wicked hot and dirty. The way they interact with each other is fascinating. I love the rules and the "non relationship". It made them falling for one another even better. And I am absolutely looking forward to the other characters getting their stories.

Unexpected type of romance
Not bad but the characters could have been better developed. It would have helped to know more of their back stories. Also, there was no medical situational info, and nurses weren't portrayed as anything but stereotypes.

An enjoyable story filled with steam and sizzling chemistry. I thought the story lacked depth and detail but it was still a very entertaining read i requested a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review.
