Rate this book
Halloween in Salem. A time for seances, ghost walks, spooky tales, and dressing up like your favorite witch or goblin. People go about their day, unknowing that as the veil between worlds thins and spirits become more active, the ancient evil roils in rage. Trapped in the Netherworld by the druid, Seabhac, the evil plots its escape and thirsts for revenge against those who locked it in the swirling mass of nothingness.

Unaware of the brewing danger, Cassandra’s brother, Memnon, follows a feeling that leads him to Salem. Immediately embroiled in Seabhac’s plans to defeat the evil, he must also keep the druid’s presence a secret from his sister, all while falling for the beautiful and perplexing owner of the store, Avalon’s Light.

Anwyn, a priestess of Avalon, has a single task she has come through time to achieve. She must locate Seabhac and convince him to overcome his ego and work with her to destroy the evil.

This time, there is more at stake than ever before.
This time, they must defeat the evil in a final battle or it will become too powerful to destroy.

An avid reader since childhood, I used to wake up early in the morning to read before going to school. The books that first fired my imagination were the Black Stallion books by Walter Farley. My daydreams leaned toward finding myself stranded on a desert island with a black stallion only I could ride. Those daydreams helped me make it through, what I considered, the drudgery of school. Who wouldn't rather be romping in the freedom of the outdoors taming a wild stallion?

As I matured, so did my taste in books along with my daydreams. Escaping into the pages of a book captured my attention and pumped my senses like nothing else. Unfortunately, I was always of the mind that I could never actually write a book. You had to be a writer to do something like that. Eventually, I came to my senses. As my fortieth birthday approached, I decided to write a book. I had no idea how to write, what to write about, or even how to begin, but, imbued with Capricorn stubborness, I wrote anyway.

Currently, I am living my life-long dream on 50 acre farm in Ontario, Canada. This move to the country has proven to be time consuming, especially since a friend gave me two baby goats as a farm-warming gift. I have added to the herd and now own 12 goats, not to mention my Welsh pony, 3 dogs and 2 cats.

My husband, Fred, and I, own and operate a martial arts and wellness centre as well as run an archery range and store on our farm. I also work a part time job in order to help feed my menagerie of animals.

Smooth wrap up

It may have ended.....but it leaves a feeling of light and openness that there are endless possibilities and that friends fuel each other with the strength to surpass the hardships that come along the way .

Intriguing and mesmerizing! I just finished the third book in the trilogy and it was my favorite! Just summed up everything from the previous two books into a miraculous climax. This action-packed adventure will have you rooting for all of the characters to come together to save Salem. There are implications for peace among all nations with messages on the strength of friends helping each other overcome evil to build a better world. It is a fun read and will have you chuckling over the druid’s lack of modern day speech and customs, and his penchant for donuts. A romance is budding in the background but obstacles prevent it from ripening until Salem is saved. I enjoyed this book very much and believe it would make a good movie.

This was such a cool premise, and its so disappointing that it just didn’t work. I’m not sure if this its because the books were on the shorter side, or maybe its just not developed enough? Not sure honestly. We’re supposed to believe that these characters have such a soul deep connection that they realize within 30% of the book but don’t really encourage or stimulate that connection until 95% of the book is over. I really liked the idea if having these souls traveling through time to their next kin of the bloodline, and then having them explore such a magic rich area like Salem. I had higher hopes, probably won’t read the last one since the second was just like the first.

I loved the first book,
And the second book, and whilst I enjoyed this book, it felt quite "samey" to the first two.

It was nice to read it though and have the open loops closed!

Great ending to the series

The witches, druids and the ancients fight the evil one last time...who will win....good or evil? You'll have to read the series to find out!
