I’ve been taught to believe monsters are after me. Instead, I’ve become the monster.
We should be celebrating. After that horrific battle for alpha, the curse should be broken. Ridley Falls should be safe. Instead, things are even worse than before.
Three packs have just merged into one and not everyone is happy about it. In fact, we’re one pack meeting away from rebellion. On top of rebuilding a broken wolf pack full of misfits and criminals, the fate of the hexerei’s magic is in my hands—literally.
I want to stay and fight for the life we all deserve but the number one threat to our safety isn’t Cohen and the hexerei. It’s me.
I’ve spent my whole life running. It’s what I know best. It’s how I survived all those years. But this kind of running won’t be to save myself. Or to keep from letting anyone get too close.
This time, if I run, it will be because staying could destroy everything and everyone I care about. If I stay, I’ll be the one to destroy them instead.
They chose me—to protect them. To lead. Now it’s time I chose them. Even if it means giving everything up to do it.
Heather Hildenbrand lives in coastal Virginia where she writes paranormal and fantasy romance with strong-willed heroines and dark, grumpy heroes who’ll burn the world down for their mate. Her most frequent hobbies are cuddling with her giant goldendoodles, riding country roads on the back of her husband’s motorcycle, and avoiding killer slugs.

This would have rated a rousing 5 stars if not for the constant rain cloud of “Maybe I’ll run” hanging over the entire story. Ash waffles with that behavior until I wanted to scribble it off the page!
The rest, however, really is everything one who loves shifter/witch books could hope for. The writing is smooth and the storyline is creative and exciting.
What a spectacular way to end the series. I became attached to these characters from the first scene of the first book and found myself becoming more invested in them as I moved through the series.
Ash is such a strong spirit and strong person, and her travels to her destination are anything but easy. Kai is put off by her the moment he meets her because he knows what she means to his existence. To watch the true meaning of their mating unfold and bloom into this amazing result took my breath away. Every character is threatened by what is necessary for them to survive, but this last book shows just how expensive that survival is.
It was intense and exciting and heartbreaking in ways only this author knows how to write. And it left us with a peek into what comes next. Absolutely amazing.
Honestly this series was so great I'm glad I stumbled across it... it really mixes real life issues with supernatural is a beautiful way that sucked me in from book 1 all the way to the end of book 3... Ash has a lot put on her shoulders throughout the series and with the support of those around her and Kai she manages to get her HEA and help her pack... Ash and Silas had me a bit teary eyed at the end but I'm so glad that Silas is getting a spin-off i really loved his broody character in the end and hope there will be a way he can return to build a relationship with Ash and his mum ❤
Definitely recommend reading 📚 If you love Jaymin Eve, Lola Glass or Leia Stone you'll love this series
I am enjoying this series. Narration is perfect for bringing the story to life. There are a lot of characters in the wolf pack to get to know but the characters are so well developed, I had to problems keeping them straight. I totally enjoyed reading while listening. Narration was perfection. The young hybrid and her alpha wolf journey through lots of obstacles to find their HEA. This one reveals many secrets and many find their HEA. The pack comes together. This is my favorite so far. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to read the next one which revolves around Silas.
This book was intense from start to finish. The magic chose Ash and now may be the end of her. Everyone is rushing to try and get answers to help Ash before it destroys her. Kai is also being affected and his dark side is growing. His and Ash’s wolf aren’t connected like they should be and if Ash can’t figure it out, Kai also will forever be changed. Twists and turns you don’t see coming but how everything plays out is exciting and comes down to integrity and the love of Pack. I totally loved this book and series and can’t wait to see what happens next.
I loved this series I would have given this book a 5 but I’m sticking with 4.5 because of the ending argh Silas one of my favourite characters I wish he got his happy ending but I can’t wait for his book to come out I really wanted him to stay with the shifters so I was sad when he left with the hex but overall such an amazing series loved every single one of the characters lots of drama and romance and FUNNY PARTS !! Freaking loved the twins issac was definitely my favourite character overrall recommend reading !! 📚

Well as far as book three series goes with the continued curse and trying to save everyone in the pack. Not much romance in this book, more along the lines of what Ash is going through and how to deal with the current situation. Learning to deal prepare for a future. Very unhappy with the end result, no spoilers but just couldn't appreciate the way they left things. I do realize this gave the opportunity to merge into another book in the Lone Pack series but still not a fan of the ending.
This series had potential but I felt as time went on, it was a lot of repetition and you’re just like “get to the point already”. Loved supporting characters like Issac💞. He definitely should’ve gotten more scenes in my opinion. Kai just seems unhinged, then sweet, then unhinged. The one scene where she meets Crater and sees more of his background, it starts to develop his character more but then that’s all you get. Introducing her mother suddenly - oh she’s alive- and then not more there- and throw in a half brother in for kicks- it just seemed a little contrived.

Wolf Chosen is the wild ride conclusion to Ash and Kai's story (there is another book in the Lone Wolf series coming out).
Ash's magic is consuming her and effecting Kai's wolf. Ash needs to get a hold of her magic, keep her promise without letting Cohen get a hold of the magic. As the curse unravels and mates are found, how will Ash survive having this much magic in her body and also placate her wolf and keep Kai grounded.
I liked the series but the reason I gave it 4 stars had to do with the ending. I know Heather did it to lead to her next set of books with Silas but I dont think it made since. Cohen was no longer apart of the coven so his death should not have affected the pack or triggered the blood oath. Overall a good read and I don't want discourage anyone from reading it. I enjoyed it!
This was a good ending. I definitely didn't see the twist coming but it was cool. It was nice to see how the pack had changed once the curse was almost fully broken. I was so excited for Dris and Isac and I wish we could have seen those developments! It would have been so cool. I was hoping we'd get a little bit more with her learning how to use magic but I guess that side of it will probably come with book 4 and not with Ash.
That was crazy!! I can't believe about who showed up after all these yrs and then the bombs that was done on top of each other. She is still trying 2 break the crude all the way and still have the extra 2 packs that stayed there 2 understand her and recognizes her and Kia as alphas of the pack. But a few were assholes r now mellowing out sum lol I'm really curious of who found each mate. I liked it but toward the end I got worried.
I’m not going to lie, I was super anxious for this book. So many things and yet, Heather made everything amazing and wonderful. I was anxious because there was a turn of events and I didn’t want to see anything happen to the characters. This is the book that determines what is going to happen with the curse. And I couldn’t put it down at all. I can’t wait to see what Heather come out with next.
Almost that is. Ash and Kai find a way to save their pack but at what cost? And everyone is hiding something. Whose secrets are about to be leaked and with what results?
Did I intrigue you yet? Good. This series is well worth the read, and I can’t wait for the next couple’s story!
This was a great read that I loved from the moment that I started reading. I am hooked on this amazing series. It moves along at a really great speed making for a fantastic read. The characters are awesome and you cannot help but fall in love with them. This book needs to be read and I cant wait to read the next book in this series.
Wolf Chosen takes you from one end of the spectrum to the other. It's very rewarding to see Ash finally figure everything out even if just about nothing goes to plan. There were a couple twists. Some cheer-worthy pairings. And some jaw-dropping moments till the very end.
Cohen isn’t happy the magic chose Ash and neither is she. The alpha couple has more wolves and challenges than they counted on, including Ash’s wolf being suppressed as magic takes over, Kai’s loss of control, their pack has no allies but plenty of secret hybrids, secrets are spilled and an irate Cohen has another dastardly plan in the works. Rating: 3.75stars
Once again I was completely hooked…. And the ride …wow… And what an ending, sort of….. Definitely took me by surprise, although some of it didn’t….. I can’t really say much else… It was a truly great read that had me reading into the late hours of the night….
Everyone got their HEA except Silas. I can't wait to read his book to find out more about him. I am also interested in reading how he will learn to accept himself. I also hope he is able to have a better bond with his sister because I feel he deserves someone he feels he can turn to no matter what, besides his mate.
#3 in this amazing series did not disappoint! The amazing characters through out this series all came together for the greater good and found their forever family or should I say fated mates!!!! I am so happy there will be a book 4 and my love affair with this town will continue! ❤️
Oh wow! So many requests and turns! Couldn’t get enough of it! I’m on pins and needles for the next one! The highs and lows and unexpected twists have me all tied up in so many emotions!
Get ready to have your questions answered in this action packed story. I loved this book so much. Ash and Kai’s story has come to an end, but thank goodness we get to stay in this world for another book. Book 4 is coming soon and i can’t wait 🥰
Heather has delivered another amazing story! I got sucked in from page one and the next thing I knew I was reading the last sentence. There were so many twist and turns I didn’t know which way we were going. Definitely one of my favorite series of the year!
I totally wasn't prepared to let go lol Although, I am so ready to figure out what is next in store for Silas =) Thank you for such a wonderful series. It was def worth the time and I may read it all over again in the future.
Ash and Kai ! What a story ! Ash has had it ruff ! Tragedy leading to a new life , discovering secrets, finding love, friends and herself! I'm really enjoying this series. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Disappointing last book to the series. The FMC and MMC make a lot of decisions that truly do not make sense, nor do they actually add to the plot in a meaningful way. But then again, the FMC is 19 so maybe that is realistic.
I really loved reading and listening to this book. The series has been very enjoyable so far. The characters are very well written. I enjoyed the story very much with the various phenomenal and the voice actor that read the audible version did a great job too!
I loved this series, but I think this book is my favorite. It twisted & turned to the very end. I absolutely want to live in this world & know these ppl.... Though I kinda feel like I already do!
