Uplifting and inspiring blended superhero family!

A little boy experiences big changes when his loving parents divorce and his mom remarried. This book offers a simple and gentle way to help kids understand that they are still loved even when their parents are not together anymore and that it can be cool to have an extra parent to love them. Kids love superheroes and these images can help them find courage in the face of these overwhelming challenges. The language doesn’t talk down to young readers and acknowledges their complex emotions. Even if divorce is a necessary change it takes time to adapt to the situation. After reading, Kids can share their experiences and think about all the wonderful members they have in their own blended super family team.

Love this look at a stepparent

This was a very sweet book. I love the illustrations and the story was delightful. It made a step parent out to be a good thing. Not the scary thing many kids expect
