First time using Galatea. Do not recommend, terrible audiobook presentation. This book could have been so good if the writing wasn’t so cringy. Not enough explanation on most of the book. Too many time period gaps without explanation. DNF sadly, saw so many out of contex TikTok’s.
Chesticles??? Punani??? I’m done! This book is so poorly written and the sex scenes were full of weird terminology (see the first two words in this review). I just couldn’t. Who says “chesticles”??? Such a stupid book.
By the end of this book I still don’t know who Theo is. 0 character development or any kind of personality on him. The back story was only 3 sentences long after a lot of build up, I’m still unsure of the whole 6 years thing? And Iris, she was actually hired by Thea’s mom but somehow she’s also Theo’s business assistant?! The ending was rushed too. It’s a quick enjoyable read but needs work for sure

Nice book, quite interesting however, we need to know the full story on the 6 year thing, did he intentionally get her manager to hate her at her job so she could lose it and get to hire her, did he influence her move from Canada in some way? What’s wrong with Anders n y does he follow Thea around, why does Theo have a cold and secretive nature when his patents are so bubbly and why was he avoiding Thea so much at first when je clearly loves her, why are they forbidden from going to the other wings of the house etc. too many question marks and unfinished story lines

This was not a hard read, but there were times it felt like it was written by 2 different people. There were some questions still unanswered at the end of this book.
I loved this book, very much . It was very refreshing to read as it was the first time you really didn’t hear / read the male interest prospective, as he was portrayed as a character who doesn’t talk much and express his feeling through his actions 🥴.
The only disappointment of the book is that they built upon having a lot body guard and protection for privacy but doesn’t show the break down of how they slowly socialise there life with other. Also when they made Thea mother seemed dangerous but nothing was shown to make her seem dangerous.
But other then these I highly recommend reading the book, but just so you know you will have to read it on app they make pay to read each chapter. It cost me a pretty penny 😭😭. But I’ll earn that money back lol 😂.

I read this book because Galatea promoted it and made it sound good. It was not good. The plot was old and has been written a million times by a million different authors. This would be fine, as this is true for many romance books, except for this had zero nuance, horrible writing, and the worst love scenes I have ever read. I feel like this is what would happen if you instructed ChatGPT to write a story about a woman getting a job as a nanny and her boss falling in love with her. It was that bad. Don’t waste your time.
There is so much potential for the storyline but the word flow is terrible and not very descriptive. It felt choppy and oftentimes I felt like it jumped to the next part without adequate Segway. The book was also missing just some common sense timing things like why would the nanny ask the girl how she likes her new room three weeks later when she puts her to bed every night. Stuff like that. I couldn't finish it.
I read this whole book in two days. It was an interesting read but I’m inclined to say I had to reread several passages just to get an understanding of what was being said. Now I need to know if there will be a sequel to this because there is no way you’re leaving us with “No going back”
First I listened to the audio- it may have been better if I read it- I’m not sure who they used but it was awful- anyway that being said… it was pretty predictable. I only finished bc I really hate not finishing.
DNF, not because I want to, but because I have to. I just hate Galatea and I don't wanna put up with it anymore. I'm a Wattpad girly. 1 star because I don't understand why anyone would publish a book on Galatea.
I like the story. Jasmine got to know what mainly broought her.there. that is to take care of Thea. Relationship with Theodora didn't make her forgetting her job
