Kindle Unlimited - A fifth and final instalment of The Night Flyer.
Set in Renaissance Milan.
A good send off for all the family members to complete the story in a satisfactory way.

This series started as a Trilogy, then the author added two more books, but it appears that this might really be the end of the story. This has been an interesting and enjoyable series, a story set in early sixteenth century Italy is unusual, but add in a lesbian ‘batwomen’, it is certainly made it different.
I enjoyed this book, but perhaps not as much as the previous four. Florentina is out of action for most of the book and I think some of the accumulated ‘sweetness’ was finally getting to me.
If possible I would have given 3.5 stars, but because I thought the series was very good I have increased this to four.

Last book (hopefully just for now) of an awesome series ... I just LOVED it !!!

This book gave the series a satisfying and somewhat surprising ending. Once again, a lovely blend of history, romance, and action weave a tale with something for almost everyone. I admit that I have become attached to these characters and hate to see the series end. But, end it does, and on a high note.

An Amazing Series
Edale Lane’s series set in Italy in the early 1500’s is a thrilling adventure and love story that I couldn’t stop reading. Maddie and Florentina’s love for each other is very deeply portrayed. The series contains mystery, drama, love of children and family and much more. I highly recommend it.
