Giddy-up! More romance

I like Kate and Reese together and like to hear their story. But even more I like that Kate is independent and tough. This is a great read about her and them. Fun and well written in JJ Clarke’s style of great dialogue. Recommended especially as a link between Clarke’s other two stories.

J.J. Clarke fans — be sure to read the newest book in the Kate Anderson series. Dared to Fly gives us more time with our favorite characters, answers some of our questions, builds up the suspense, and leaves us chomping at the bit for more J.J. Clarke books. Clarke is a master of the entertaining cozy mysteries, as evidenced by her first three books in the series. J.J. Clarke—about Book 4...hurry up, would you? I have read all your books multiple times. They are that good. (less)

My gosh! I’ve been waiting a long time to find out where Kate went when she escaped by plane. Dared to Fly answers that question and fills in some more blanks in the Kate Anderson saga, especially good for those of us who can’t wait for the fourth installment. All the supporting characters are back, including the love interests, the Dollies, and the underground women’s network. This was a delight to read and a great appetizer for what’s to come. I highly recommend it.

Delightful.

The third of the series of `Dared` and Kate makes it home. Don`t start here...treat yourself to the whole journey. Enjoyed these short reads and cozy mysteries. This time of sheltering I wanted lighter and shorter. You will find it in this engaging series by JJ Clarke. The question is..did Kate do it? Start reading.

She ran from him for five years. Now that she's turned herself in, she's running to him. Kate and Reese still sizzle. A fast-paced read that dares to fly.

Synopsis: When Kate Anderson was accused of murdering her stalker, she fled for her life, determined to prove her innocence. But now she is back and risking everything to be at the funeral of a dear friend, and hoping there is enough evidence to clear her name.

Rating: PG

To be completely honest, this is kind of a hard book to review on its own, only because it’s so short (only about 50 pages). That said, if you’re following the Kate Anderson story (which you should be– Check out the review on Book #1- Dared to Run) this is an important addition.

I haven’t read #3 (Dared to Return) yet, but my feeling is that Dared to Fly acts as a footbridge between books 1 and 3. Short, but with vital information connecting the two stories.

So, go read Dared to Run, then check out Dared to Fly. You can read it in a matter of hours, and it’s just as well written as its predecessor. But, this is definitely not a series you can read out of order. If you start here, you will have absolutely no clue what is happening!

JJ does not disappoint with a colorful cast of characters and a gutsy heroine. She compels the reader to continue this adventure to learn what’s ahead for Kate and whether the hunky Reese Matthews is still in the picture. Or is he on the chase? And what might Sheriff O’Dell have up his sleeve now that it’s clear he is not finished with Kate? The read is engaging and well thought-out. JJ brings her characters to life in mixed-up adventures that keep us captivated. At the last page, JJ has you looking for more. Don’t miss Dared to Fly. It’s a great short read.

As advertised, "Dared to Fly" is a short read. It reminds you what happened in the first of the Kate Anderson Mystery series by J. J. Clarke and goes on to tell what happened after. You'll enjoy the author's witty intellect along with the first-person accounts of other main characters. And once again, you'll be left wanting more of this series. You're in luck, the 3rd is available on Amazon, "Dared to Return."

No everyone is aware of the women who have organized to help abused and in danger woman. They do a great deal to help these woman escape from harm, find their self worth and dignity and start a new Life. Kate with the help of this group has escaped from being charged with a murder she did not commit. The story is fiction but so interesting in how they have helped her evade capture for 4 years. She if finally coming home with the help of her lawyer and Grandfather. Must read

Disappointing

I really thought this short story would answer more questions. Not end with another cliffhanger. Not really sure I want to buy the next book as it isn't very long either.

Finally Home?

A fun read that, even though short, kept me in suspense. Would she get off, or would something change Kate's fate again?

3.5 stars. I haven't read any of this series but downloaded this short story based on a FB group. It was well written and while I didn't know the whole story, I was able to follow this bit. The characters seem fun and I am definitely intrigued by Dolly Parton look alikes helping people.
