This book takes you into what went into making the props and world of the movie "Ghostbusters Afterlife". It was actually refreshing to see a Ghostbusters story take place outside NYC with this movie.
Having said that though a lot of reverence was paid to the original Ghostbusters movie in making this installment in the franchise. They tracked down original fabrics from the first Ghostbusters movie and aged a lot of props. I also had no idea how rare the car they use in the movie is till now. There are a lot of photos of the props used which cosplayers will be thankful for and I found it an interesting look at what I think is the best movie in the franchise since Ghostbusters II.
Filled with gorgeous pictures and fascinating writing about how Ghostbusters: Afterlife came about. This was such a great book! I loved learning about what went on behind the scenes to bring this movie to life! Such fun!
I'm a sucker for these big coffee table behind-the-scenes books. There's probably little in here that you couldn't find in other interviews and publicity material but it's nicely put together and is packed with set photos and concept designs. If you're a fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, this is a good addition to your collection.
