Hey there! I'm a Jamaican author with a passion for all things paranormal romance. I write Reverse harem romances with irresistible plot twists that will keep you up way past your bed time.
This second book in the Blood Moon Shifters series, A Wolf Betrayed, was everything I wanted it to be and more!!! Well done Taylor, well done!!!This book picks right up where A Wolf Scorned left off with Amira rocked by the betrayal of the Blood Moon pack and the entrance of Alpha Ragnaron into her life, and though his introduction was a rocky one at best, I will say he quickly became one of my favorites of her men! His depth of emotion and genuine feelings towards her, and all his care of her and her feelings and the way he protects her at all costs, quickly won a spot in my heart.
“….but you are no stranger to me. I have dreamt of you my entire life.”
I also loved how the introduction to Ragnaron’s pack was written, and loved all the new characters we meet. But what I loved reading most was Amira’s growth as a character as she slowly comes into her own, becoming more confident in her abilities with both fighting and magic and how she embarks on a journey of her own to find herself and to learn more about her powers, her heritage and the curse that the Blood Moon shifters are enduring. While things may have been sketchy with Amira and the rest of her sexy men (Sylas, Callum and Miles) they finally came through for her in the end….well until possible doom and tragedy once again makes an explosive entrance into their lives courtesy of evil that doesn’t seem to want to let Amira go that is.
Overall, if you love a delicious paranormal RH book with tons of twists and turns, a FMC full of spirit and snark and of course super hot and sexy Alpha and Beta shifters with tons of hot and steamy sex scenes…then this book is for you!!! And that ending?!?! Nothing but 🔥🔥🔥!!!! I cannot WAIT for the next book!!!
A Wolf Betrayed is the second book in the Blood Moon Shifters series and this paranormal reverse harem once again finds Amira after she has been kidnapped (seriously why does this keep happening to her) by Ragnaron and taken to his castle.
Something was off with this book for me, something about the characters wasn't working as well as it did in the first book. Ragnaron seemed a little naive at times about certain things, Sylas was hiding his feelings, and Callum was in denial about his feelings towards Amira at the beginning of the story when I thought he had a major breakthrough at the end of the first book. Amira also seemed off, she was immature at times but was also a little manipulative in this book.
That being said I was surprised by them as well. Ragnaron really surprised me, he was very caring and genuine towards Amira. He was easily open with his feelings, with his life, and tried to make her happy. As for the Blood Moon Shifters, Sylas fought for Amira, Callum finally comes to a few realizations, and Miles stayed true to himself, was kind, caring, and straightforward. As for Amira, she's more confident, has some fighting skills thanks to practice, and is trying with her magic.
The introduction to new characters such as Ragnaron's pack was nice and I also loved seeing a few familiar faces. Speaking of familiar faces while Logan may not have been in this book too much but it's apparent that he's still gonna be a problem coming up. I loved the story idea of Amira wanting to get her own power, finding out more about the curse that the Blood Moon shifters are under. However, some things were a little unrealistic like when Amira is with the Blood Moon pack and the alphas come up with a plan that I don't think is believe, not because they can't pull it off but because of the emotional issues and then the packs' reaction to the truth is also unbelievable and that's just to name a couple. Other than that the story was pretty good and had a few interesting things.
A Wolf Betrayed is a good sequel to A Wolf Scorned, the story ended on a pretty interesting tidbit and I'm curious as to where everything is going.
Poor Amira. How does she know who exactly to trust???
We start this book with her at Ragnarons and she seems to be perfectly happy and he seems to be on the up and up with her. He treats her well, arranges dates, takes her shopping.... Until the guys from Blood Moon come to try and rescue her..... There's a bloody battle with injuries and tragedies that hit the Alphas and Amira herself hard.
It's more of a case of her emotions tell her which way to go than who is more right than wrong - we think anyway! Until we're proven otherwise!
Miles takes it upon himself to do a solo rescue mission without telling anyone to bring Amira home. It's by pure luck that she and Ragnaron happen to have had their wolves playing out together, getting closer as a matter of fact, that left them taking shelter in s cave on the border of the pack lands rather than seconded within the secure building. Miles has a plan to bring her home and won't leave without her.....
Alpha Logan is causing serious trouble on the surface after realising his chances of getting his mate home are slim to none.. He's always been a bad egg and it gets even worse in this book when he calls upon a witch and her power that threatens not just Amiras lives but everyone in the nearest towns.....
Amira meanwhile, hatches a plan to be seen as an equal in the Blood Moon pack. But the guys aren't so sure. So despite training her, they have a plan to sidetrack her which, may come from a good place but will she accept them doing such a thing again? And are they right? IS she too weak? CAN she do it?
I'm still not sure who to trust so it's interesting to see what happens!
I received a copy of the ebook in return for an honest review

Oh my goodness, I can't believe how Amira is put into these situations! She's taking by Miles, then taken by Ragnaron, then Miles again! And each one of them is adamant she belongs to them. Constantly trying to guard her heart, unsuccessfully I might add, she is astonished at her physical reactions to Ragnaron, Miles, Callum and Syrus but she refuses to belong to anyone, she values her freedom. I loved reading the drama they all bring into this four way tug of war. Ragnaron is a bit of an enigma, I can't make up my mind if he's hiding something or not. As for Miles, Callum and Syrus, well, I go through feeling sorry for them, to really annoyed! I mean, MUST they constantly lie? I acknowledge they have a reason to, or at least they think they do, but still, lies are always a disaster waiting to happen. I enjoyed reading about the rivalry between the various packs, them vying for Amira's attention and affection. Just when things start to settle for Amira and she decides what she really wants, I allowed myself a sigh of joy, finally, but the author had other plans! Ms Spratt delivers a twist at the end which has my brain hurting! Like, wow! Leaving me impatiently waiting for the next book to find out more, in this steamy, hot, fast paced and thoroughly captivated tale!
You know I'm not sure honestly how to feel about this series yet. There are times I'm riveted and others that I find myself skipping over.
I think main problem is that I can't really connect to our FMC. Only because I have problems with her thought process at times. She wants to be powerful and never feel helpless again but we never see her try to train or access her magic again unless absolutely necessary. The men are honestly the highlight for me even if they can be irritating at times as well. However, I do really think that the men compliment our FMC well and do in fact help to try and bring out the best in her!
I'm on the fence on if I want to continue this series but I just think I might. We see glimpses of her slowly coming into her own which intrigue me and I'm interested to see how she grows in book 3. Plus that ending sucked me back in too and I need to know how book 3 goes.
This series just gets better and better. The storyline is action packed with so many twists and turns right up to the crazy cliffhanger ending. Amira is such a strong character, that we see grow throughout this book. Also Miles, Callum, Syrus and Ragnaron give this book some heat as they all try to get Amira to be there's. And getting to read from each of the guys pov too made this book come alive so much more!! That I couldn't put it down, so ready for the next book
This second book is such a good read. Carrying on from where we left book one it’s action packed and fast paced and continues with a storyline you will not be able to put down. It’s exciting and highly entertaining read full of emotions, betrayal, misunderstandings and twists and turns to keep you hooked and that ending, well it’s enough to keep you eager to read book three!
That was fun, though book 1 was better. I like Ragnaron but it feels as if Amaria doesn't. I feel bad for him cause he actually helped her escape and she forgot about him pretty quickly. He's totally in love with her too. I hated the whole Lyra thing. Unnecessary drama imo.
Amira has been taken by Ragnaron and this is inciting an alpha war. She needs to figure out who she can trust, the lies she can handle, and who to watch out for.
This series got even better with book two! Amira is getting stronger, and she's becoming an absolutely incredible character. I love Miles, Cullum and Syrus, despite what has happened with them. Ragnaron isn't necessarily a bad guy, a little unstable, but he's had an incredibly traumatic past that has lead him to this point. Logan is a pure pain, and I can't stand his character.
The writing is great and has improved from book one. I'm enjoying how the author is developing the characters and showing their overall arc as the story progresses.
The next book is sure to be just as thrilling and I can't wait for it!
The author provided a copy. This is my honest review.
Don’t get me wrong this is a great book and I love the creativity but Amira be testing my pet peeves now.
I don’t know what it is but she was really annoying me at times in this one. After rereading book 1 it could have stemmed from there because I didn’t realise how annoying she was and it kind of continued. I was glad she grew somewhat in this one but just the little things were stopping me from completely enjoying it. But other than that the book was great. I love the characters, the guys are each unique in their personalities that it makes for an interesting read. They definitely liven up the book.
I really enjoy Taylor’s originality. She’s really creative and her books are fascinating. Definitely out of the box and she has so many new and fresh interpretations it’s like discovering the paranormal all over again. The plot is moving along nicely and is easy to follow. I would have like a bit of a bigger shock factor or out of the blue twist but what we got was still great and I can’t wait to see what the next book will hold. Amazing job.
I loved this book, and it picks up where A Wolf Scorned left off. Amira has been kidnapped by Alpha Ragnaron. While perturbed, to say the least, she comes around because at least he told her the truth about her parents and the Blood Moon curse. While she feels betrayed by Syrus, Callum and Miles, she’s not about to jump all in with Ragnaron either. She’s tired of feeling small, weak and used. If only he wasn’t so damned good looking. Dark magic is on the rise, and she still has a curse to break and a rising enemy to contend with. She’s going to need all her men around her. She just doesn’t know it yet.
Ok, let’s start with the FMC, Amira. LOVE her. Given everything she’s endured from life, it would be understandable if she just wanted to lay down and die. But she’s pretty resilient and pragmatic. I didn’t feel that she ventured off into “TSTL” territory, but there were a few times I kinda wanted to shake her a bit. She wants to live a life of her own making. She’s even willing to put her life on the line to do it. While I didn’t actually get teary eyed, there were a few times when I felt the sadness of her or one of the MMC in my soul. *sighs* and I love a book that can reach out of the pages and grab my heart.
Ok, Let’s talk about the men. I love each and every one of them: Alpha Syrus - he didn’t seem to get as much “air time” in this book as the last one, so we didn’t get a chance to see his boyish charm on display, and I missed it. However, he is still a presence to be reckoned with and his desire for Amira and a vulnerable soul are there, right beneath the surface. Alpha Callum - stoic as ever, his quiet intensity is the same, but perhaps because I know this character better, I don’t find him to be as much of an asshole as I did in the last book. There are a few scenes with him that nearly shredded me. His intensity is what makes me attracted to him as the hottest of her men. Beta Miles - he has the softest heart of all her men, and I am so in love with him. If she did have to choose a single man, I think I would pick Miles. My heart just gets all squishy when he’s on the page. Sure, I’d miss Syrus’ charm and Callum’s heat, but MILES!!! What more can I say? Alpha Ragnaron - he rounds out her men, even though he’s in contention with the other three. I suspect that they will all have to put their petty jealousies aside and work together to fight the approaching darkness. Ragnaron truly doesn’t seem to want anything from her, except her love. For some reason he has been dreaming of her since he was a boy and he wants her to feel just a fraction of affection for him as he has for her. I really like him too, and I didn’t think I would as he was more of an interloper in the previous book.
As you can see, I think the character building was pretty complete, I mean I feel like I know these characters. I can feel their emotions as I read the story. I was hooked on the storyline from the beginning. The idea of an entire pack living underground when wolves are meant to run free is pretty sobering. The blood moon curse is a very interesting turn. Even the fact that Amira’s alpha from her previous pack wants her back is unexpected.
I can hardly wait for the next book to be released! Yes, I do recommend this book. But definitely read A Wolf Scorned first. You enjoy the journey so much more.
A Wolf Betrayed is my favorite book so far in this series. There's a lot happening in this book compared to the previous one. I really enjoyed the introduction of some new characters, the bit of action that we got to see, and the development in the relationships between Amira and her wolves. Secrets are still happening, but possibly with better intentions than before, Amira is gaining confidence and strength whilst trying to prove herself, and prophecies are being revealed. You're in for a fun ride with this book.
I think probably the most surprising thing about this book was Ragnaron. Based on the small glimpses of him in the first book, I was half expecting him to be an unbearable, narcissistic guy, but he was actually quite sweet and doting towards Amira. I wasn't certain if his actions were an act at first to try and gain her trust, but it really seems like his feelings and intentions are genuine. I also never expected him to have such a troublesome past, but it was good to see how he got to the point he is now and why he has the goals that he does. I don't completely agree with them, but I can see his reasoning.
The one thing that I didn't care for too much while reading is that even though Amira is making these connections with the men, when she is at each location, Ragnaron’s castle vs the Blood Moon shifters lands, the other Alphas from the opposite location don't seem to matter. There is this disconnect between her thoughts and feelings about each guy when she is in the presence of the different packs. I'm not sure if it is because of everything else going on while there and she's compartmentalizing things, but I didn't care for it much. However, I do think that that will change in the next book. I don't see Ragnaron giving up on Amira and I see things becoming a bit less separate between the two packs due to the circumstances with the darkness. It should be interesting to see Ragnaron around Callum, Syrus, and Miles since they have such a negative past and present with each other.
After getting to the end of this book, here is what I am hoping for with this series. Instead of the two packs, Ragnaron's and the Blood Moon shifters, being enemies, I picture them forced to come together or even working together willingly because of their common ground with Amira and also to help save Dominion. I know that Ragnaron's priority is his power, but will power be that important when the whole world could come to an end because of the darkness? The next book should be pretty exciting as we find out what these wolves decide to do.
Taylor continues to build on this impressively detailed world. The magic of the fauna and flora is perfectly juxtaposed by the darkness and its ever growing presence in this book.
Amira grows from strength to strength, she is determined not to become a product of her surroundings. She wants to gain power and respect she feels she is worthy of and will stop at nothing less than achieving it. She is becoming a truly impressive alpha hybrid, she may not have that title but she certainly has the qualities in bucket loads.
Ragnaron is undeniably mentally unstable but he has experienced an immense amount of trauma and heart ache in his life which he allows Amira to glimpse. I loved the forced closeness between them and I know it had a profound impact on Amira. His intentions seem pure and in Amira I think he will find his salvation.
Miles, Syrus and Callum show us their heart and depth of feelinsnfor Amira. They fight for her and will do anything to protect her even if that means great sacrifice on their parts but she is ultimately worth it.
The growth and development of relationships between Amira and her guys keeps you gripped to every word. They break your heart only to build it up stronger than before but is anything or anyone truly safe.
The darkness and insanity greatly increases as each word passes. Threats known and unknown surround everyone not just the Blood Moon shifters, only time will tell if anyone is strong enough to withstand what is yet to pass.
This book is a brilliant read and I am desperate for the next one.
A Wolf Betrayed is a huge level up for author Taylor Spratt!! The world building and character development is fantastic and The Blood Moon Shifters is a refreshing and original take on wolf shifters and is set in Taylor's Dominion world. This is a unique and unpredictable series with twists and surprises at every turn.
I love our MC Amira and her character grows so much in mental and physical strength. She is no damsal in distress and has a core of steel but also so much heart and gives me all the feels as she discovers herself.
Ragnaron is a complicated character and I wanted to hate him but I fell hard for him. He truly loves our MC and his honesty and genuine care draw me in. I'm seriously routing for Alpha Ragnaron to join forces with the Blood Moon Pack in the last book.
The Blood Moon Pack has a complicated history with the Bennett family and it strains Amira's relationship with Syrus, Callum and Miles as secrets are revealed. I love these three guys and their dynamic and relationships with our MC. I feel like they truly love Amira and are trying to protect her.
Alpha Logan from the hole is the true evil in this story and I am pulling for Amira and her men to join forces and defeat the darkness and get their HEA.
This book will pull you in and has nonstop action to keep you turning the pages and so many sweet moments to give you all the feels. I highly recommend this book.
Plunging back into the world of Amira, is like taking a warm bath where you become warm, feel safe and relaxed, only to be abruptly plunged into an icy cold shower! Energizing and shocking. It gave me a happy feeling to be back in her world, safe if not completely content, while also giving me a glimpse into how much growth she has gone through since her first days of leaving “the hole” where she was raised.
As Amira teeters between the men who love her and the ones who betrayed her trust, she comes to realize that sometimes a woman/ wolf can’t wait for a knight to save her she must create her own opportunities and seize the moments that she has in front of her…for tomorrow is never promised to her. One day she is with one Alpha and the next she is being kidnapped and moved to another area.
I laughed and I cried with this intense journey with Amira and her chosen men. You can definitely see and feel the characters growth and the change of mindset.
I love how Taylor Spratt gave us an FMC who is vulnerable and yet as strong mentally as steel. Who isn’t afraid to admit she doesn’t have all the answers, but isn’t willing to let others pigeon hole her into their preconceived ideas of what she should be!
If you enjoyed the first book in the series, then be prepared to fall more in love with this next book!
The second installment of the Blood Moon Shifters series did not disappoint! Taylor Spratt did an amazing job with this book and the continuation of the story! The love for Amira that Spratt was able to convey from all the other characters has been so nice and at times frustrating.
The Blood Moon Pack and the history that is weaved together with Amira finally comes out into the open, as does other insights to certain characters. Every time you think that the story will slow down a little, it pulls you back to the edge of your seat and it was a marvelous journey.
Amira comes into her own way of doing things in this book and makes sure that everyone knows it. Ultimately we find out that there will be a certain A-Hole *ahem* Alpha Logan *ahem* that sparks what can only be coming in the next book. The ending was beautifully done and makes waiting for the next book almost impossible.
If you enjoyed the previous book, you have to get this one! You get a glimpse into what I feel was two different worlds for Amira. We were able to how life could be with the big bad Alpha, Ragnaron but we also got to see a little of how things could be with the consortium of four.
Okay, I was a little disappointed with this book. I'm not sure what I was hoping for, but the alphaholes and their kidnapping ways... just get a bit boring. And while the different MMCs have been written with very distinct personalities. They have no chemistry or are not dynamic enough to care who our FMC ends up with. The whole Logan thing, well, what is wrong with him!!! What is wrong with them all.
Compared to other reads similar to this storyline, a lot falls flat for me. I love the FMCs spunk and need to be more, I understand how new and navie she is to this new world, but man is it hard work to watch all these guys and not one seems good enough yet.
There is spice and smex, but that too is medium hot, and the smut is just okay.
I'm feeling a little disconnected from this world, hoping book 3 will throw me back in and keep me there.
Book 2 ends in a kind of cliffhanger, and I am eager to see how it develops. Although it's been 12 hours since I finished and I'm already forgetting details in the ending 🙃
This was an interesting continuation of book 1. I like that we learned more about the roles of different characters within the world and how they relate to the curse/bigger picture. I also enjoyed how we saw more of the outside world and how some of the politics work.
For the characters, I was iffy on Amira shoring this book. I enjoyed how strong she was and how she fought her herself and what she wanted but I did question her decisions a few times. The Blood Moon pack… not such a big fan. I could forgive them for omitting the truth during book 1 but some things they did during this book, while they may have thought they had good intentions, made me wonder if they listened to Amira at all. Ragnaron was probably the character I liked the most.
I like the plot developments and the ending was a great way to lead into book 3. Interested to see where the author takes this story.
Amira is certainly been pushed and pulled around between the alphas in this one, poor girl!!
There’s multiple attempts by both Ragnaron and the Blood Moon Alphas, along with Logan to kidnap Amira back as they believe that she belongs to them however, - what they don’t seem to understand is that Amira is fighting for herself! GIRL POWER! 💪🏻💪🏻 she wants to be free and belong to herself!!
There’s a lot of conflicting emotions for Amira and connections to the four different Wolves, sometimes Amira comes across quite young in her speech…on the other hand, some scenes are definitely not!!🥵
The Blood Moon pack continues to betray and lie to the poor girl and Ragnoran seeks to posses her - why don’t these guys seem to see what Amira wants… Will anyone ever understand her side of this??
With more elements of the prophecy coming to light, we see both an old and a new threat emerge that could destroy everything
Amira is certainly been pushed and pulled around between the packs in this one! There’s multiple attempts by both Ragnaron and the Blood Moon Alphas, along with Logan to kidnap Amira back as they see her as theres - but what they don’t realise is Amira is fighting for herself 💪🏻💪🏻 after years in the whole she wants to belong to no-one and be free! There’s a lot of tooing and froing of her emotions and connections to the four different Wolves, sometimes Amira comes across as a bit juvenile in her speech (the general writing style is young - although the 🥵 scenes are definitely not!!) The Blood Moon pack betrayed and continued to lie to her and Ragnoran seeks to posses her - although he does she her side in the end (and is actually a total sweetie 😍) With more secrets of the prophecy coming to light an old and new threat emerges that could destroy all of Dominion….
Okay was not expecting any of that to happen in book 2. Amira’s feisty side comes out even more in this book. While she is proving to the guys who kidnapped her she is not weak even though she was born and raised in “The Hole”. That being said her wonder about everything in new world is just exciting to her and that definitely comes out in book 2 even Amira having her own mind comes out even more as well. The first book was great but this one is amazing and explores more of each pack and they alphas of them. The scenes between Amira and the guys are just hot as hell. What makes this book for me is the way the story is building and keeps you at the edge of your seat for what is going to happen next. I really can’t get over that ending but I am so looking forward to the next book in the series.
I was so exited for book two in the Rejected mate series and it was so good, i think i need to go back and give it another read! I do love some shifter romance and Taylor definitely delivers!! In book two Amira battles with her heart as she faces attraction and chemistry with all four men in her life, as they battle for her affections. I genuinely loved the push and pull and how Amira fights for her freedom, despite coming across as naive every once in a while! The story itself really starts to build in book two and Taylor definitely keeps us on edge with what is going to happen and even throws a few twists our way.....i am so excited for book three!! If you like exciting, steamy and complex shifter romance books then you need to start reading this series, it ticks so many boxes for this genre you wont want it to end!
Okay so I have been Team Ragnaron from book 1 and now feeling like I'm President, VP, and Treasurer of his #1 Fan Club. In this book there was more world building and Amira was able to get out and experience more so that was nice. This book felt like it had a faster pace with more action and conflict. It has all the good stuff - spicy romancing, conflict & inner turmoil, and reunions (good & bad). Everything has been set up to have an pretty awesome third book of this series and I am here for it!! **SPOILERS AHEAD**
I'm such a grudge holder when it comes to book characters so I would have liked for the Amira to make the Blood Moon guys sweat and grovel a lot more before forgiving them, but in their own way 2 of them showed her how much they care for her so I'm okay I guess. Maybe Ragnaron has just set the bar so high that I find them lacking lol.
Can we please stop kidnapping the poor girl at this point? Haha. Poor Amira is being pulled left, right and centre between the Blood Moon pack and Ragnaron's pack. And things really do come to blows in this book with the fallout of Ragnaron's admission to her regarding the Blood Moon pack.
I do have to say I found Syrus a lot less annoying in this book, in the first one he just seemed so childish and I admit it really bugged me. Amira has a few undesirable qualities but as a whole, her character intrigues me. It's nice to see her finally growing into her powers, and also taking a stand for herself. She's been pulled in a lot of different directions since book one but she's now putting her foot down and demanding to make her own choices.
I really need to know whats going to happen in book three, and can't wait for it's release.
She's always a possession of somebodies, and she's finally getting that control back. Maybe not in the right way because it just makes her seem flighty and immature a lot of the time. But she seems to be figuring it out. As for the guys I go back and forth on then. Ragnaron I think confuses his want for her as his alpha female due to her strength for love. Myles, And the alphas I do believe love her but don't know how to show it. They always underestimate her because of her past reactions which is understandable. But they also don't give her the chance to show she's grown. Until she takes it upon herself and shows them no matter what they have to say about it.
She's one tough woman when she wants to be, she just needs to learn how to weird the power she holds.
I must say I enjoy the idea of what’s to come in this story but getting there makes my nerves go crazy. I know it’s a developing series, but these cliff hangers are getting me.
Watching the adventure that has become her life is exciting. She has some very interesting mates. Sometimes, they frustrate me to the point of making me want to pull my hair out. Then there are others times where their feeling for her turn me to mush. Rag and his talk in her room had me over here fanning myself. It will be entertaining to see how this story shapes up. That ending though… ugh she has to be the easiest wolf to kidnap in history lol.
I know how I want this story to go, I can not wait to see how the series progresses!
*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
I just finished reading A Wolf Betrayed and I’m in my feels. The second book in the Blood Moon Shifters series started right where the first book ended with Amira trying to figure out her powers, her heart and how to gain some independence. I loved that Amira has developed so much in this story and learned to stand up for herself. I didn’t expect the connection with Ragnaron and I’m looking forward to how that will progress with the wolf packs being enemies. The spice level is still pretty low in the series but the scenes included are hot! I’m hoping for loads more in future books. Also in classic Taylor fashion the book ends in a major cliffy so I’m not so patiently awaiting the next installment in the series. Well done Taylor, this is my favorite book of yours to date!
This is the 2nd book of the Blood Moon shifters series. When finished book 1 it left us with a twist and hadn’t seen coming. Alpha Ragnaron has convinced Amira to come with him. We get to meet a few new characters and a few familiar ones. Amira must find out about her family but also learn about her powers. The world building was really good but the characters needed something. I’m not sure what it was about this one that didn’t keep my attention even though I enjoyed this one it just wasn’t as good as the first book. It still sucked me in and by the end I wanted so much more. Left me asking new questions and wondering what is going to happen next. Overall not bad for a 2nd book and I’ll be patiently waiting for the next one to come out.
Loved this book, it’s so well written with such detail and emotion. The twists and suspense were perfect. I loved the unique storyline. We see Amira trying to work out which pack she belongs with, with 3 different Alpha packs fighting over her makes for entertaining reading - lots of push/pull, misunderstandings, untruths and much much more. I love seeing Amira demanding what she wants and really standing up for herself in this book. We see her Grandmothers future predictions come to fruition, with a massive cliff hanger ending that leaves you demanding for more. Can’t wait to get hold of book 3. Absolutely love this author, her writing style is perfection- thank you!
“A Wolf Betrayed” is the second book in this series. Amira is being held captive by Alpha Ragnaron who really wants Amira to love him. He is completely obsessed with her. Ragnaron tries all he is taught by his beta to get Amira to love him so he can claim her. I was praying she didn’t give in to him. Callum, Miles, and Syria are trying everything they can to rescue Amira. The threat of Alpha Logan is hanging over all their heads. This book is nonstop drama. The angst of who Amira will let in to her bed is insane. This book also ends in a cliffhanger that will makes you want to launch it across the room! I can’t wait for the next one.
