And she thought she couldn’t be happier. But there’s just one problem. She’s got a tiny secret— a kiss with another witch. One that she really wants to pretend never happened. She knows she loves her lycanthrope boyfriend and would never want to hurt him . . . but why does that kiss still haunt her?
As if that wasn’t enough for one witch, a mysterious new coven has moved to Brooklyn. A beautiful, fabulous coven that seems a little too perfect, a little too polished . . . what are they hiding? And why are they so curious about her coven?
***If you like paranormal romance, urban fantasy, witches, and shifters, you'll love A Crystal Dagger. It’s a quick, fun read full of witchy magic and steamy romance set against the backdrop of New York City. Although it’s a sequel to A Violet Wind, you can read it as a standalone.
I thought this book was better than the first. I prefer a story with more sisterhood tales rather than romantic conquests. Again, I wish the story could have been longer so the end didn’t feel rushed. I hope there will be a third because I enjoy the dynamics of the different characters.
2 i definitely liked the first book better. this was ok but nothing spectacular. like the first book, there was a fairly abrupt ending. idkkk i feel like it’s lacking something for me. this just didn’t feel very special to me
Genuinely fun to read. It made me feel like a witch and yearn to pull my tarot cards out. I love the temptation that continues from sage as Jackson stays steady in his choice of mate. Fast, fun read
