Paul's letter to Titus. This book speaks to humility in the body of Christ. It also speaks of the hope we have through Jesus Christ the Messiah: That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
“Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.”- Titus 3:1-2
A short read yet very powerful. Role models were missing and Titus needed to choose elders and to be very careful in choosing them. We need to be reminded each day of God's grace towards us and that the Holy Spirit is always nudging us towards Him.
