Christmas is my favourite time of year.
With the crisp air, baggy jumpers, mulled wine, the festive atmosphere, and the scrumptious food; what is not to like?
It’s a time for celebration; the one day the world comes to a stop and families come together.
It’s a day in which magic happens.
This year, it’s mine and Jaxon’s first Christmas together, and I want it to be perfect for him. With plans to visit with family, I want us to start a tradition we will cherish for years to come.

This is a holiday story which centers around Lily who is remembering important moments in her life when she entered the Carter family. Now happily married to Jaxon, they are expecting their first child. Has little chapters from several of the characters.

The Best Carter/Hayes Book!!!
Wow!!! I'm completely at a loss for words at the moment.
I never thought that the day I first read Malik so many years ago that I would fall in love with a book series the way I have this one.
First I love the original Carter's book... like honestly who wouldn't love them. But the next generation Carter's are so emotionally breathtakingly written. I can never put them down and I anticipate the next kids story. Adding another crazy family to the mix was perfect.
I loved Lily from the moment she came into their lives, I knew her story was going to be the one to completely break my heart, before being stitched back together.
The love she has for everyone is so pure, honestly it's awe- inspiring with everything she suffered for the first few years of her life. Jaxon is the best man for her even if the Carter Men don't want to admit it. The love he has for her, he truly believes she is too good for him. Their love is breathtakingly beautiful and I can't wait to see little bits of them in the next books that are to come.
Max literally killed me throughout this whole book, he always is good to make you laugh but when he truly shows his emotions boy do his word's hit you right in the feels.
"She had six kids, Lily, and out of us all, you are the best of us." Max Carter.

Lisa Helen Gray’s writing is Magical. Every time I read a book within the Carter Brother universe I am transported into this magical, beautiful world. These characters have a special place in my soul and every time I read a book in this series, these characters and their stories become even more tattooed within my brain.
Lily’s book was perfect, absolutely magical. This is Lily and Jaxon’s second book and it is set during Christmas, which makes this book a million times better. Lily always says Christmas is magical but really it is Lily who is magical. Her whole essence is so pure and she has this bright light within her and just captivates you and draws you in. I adore Lily and Jaxon so much. Reading about their love for one another brings butterflies to my stomach.
This book made me feel so much. I don’t know what Lisa puts in her books but I swear every time I read her books I cannot stop my tears. This book was everything I could have wanted and it made me feel so many things. I laughed, cried, and almost threw my book across the room. Lisa did a brilliant job with Lily, her writing always amazes me.

She's determined to show him how magical it is since it was shown to her after her oldest brother & his wife adopted her and gave her the very first piece of safety, love & security she'd ever known. Her new Dad, Mum & big sister Faith, showed her the meaning of love & kindness, her 'uncle's' and the rest of the families got show, and share in proving what Family really means, & sharing the magic that Christmas brings!💖🎉
Of course it's a Carter/Hayes novel so it's not that simple.😉 It was wonderful having all of these past scenes fleshed out, made into a well deserved book in its own right. The crazy births of many of the next generation being retold was a wonderful touch!😍 Max & his own brand of crazy was a bit much for me take this time around I'm afraid.😕 A *not to be missed* Carter Christmas story!🌟🌲

WOW. JUST HONESTLY, WOW!
Everytime Lisa releases a new book, I'm blown away.
This is the series that just keeps on giving and I am obsessed with it. This book did not disappoint! It was incredible from start to finish. I didn't want it to end!
As always I loved spending time with the Carter's and seeing all of my favourite characters come to life on the page. These characters honestly live rent free in my head, and in my heart.
Lisa definitely is able to draw out so many emotions from me, every time. From the story, the characters, their plots. Everything. It's a rollercoaster, and I'm here for it.
This story was based around my favourite time of year, and had me feeling all warm and fuzzy throughout. It was a feel good, laugh out loud festive read (but one I would read all year round) with some Carter drama thrown in! And I wanted to read it again as soon as I had gotten to the end.

Though she had such a loving family, each and everyone adore her,can do anything for her ❤️ but sometimes the past injuries are bigger and when they start haunting your future it becomes difficult to get through those memories😊. It's the story about how with the help of her family Lily overcomes her past fears. And those Christmasy vibes through out the book 😍.
And ofcourse how could I forgot to mention
Max Carter. Whenever there is Max, u just can't stop laughing out Loud 😂❤️. He was so irritating but we also can't imagine not having him in the series❤️.
Can't wait for more books 😍.

Im not very good at leaving reviews so here goes Another great story from Lisa it. I enjoyed Lily and Jaxon story and all the magic the Cater family bring as Well loved the back stories of the other pregnant women. Jaxon loves and supports Lily so does everyone to try and get her through her pregnancy. The caters telling the stories and how their being effected them is sad as Well as fuuny .
Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.😁😁

I love these characters so much, quite possibly my favourite series. It was amazing to read POV’s from each of the original Carter’s and hearing their stories of when their partners were in labour. Max is by far my favourite character of all time i laughed so much at his interactions but i also choked up when he shared his fears of losing Lake. A brilliant book that is a must read to any fan of the Carter family!

Creó que jamás me voy a cansar de leer estos libros. Y este fue uno de los que más emociones hizo aflorar en mi, pero valió la pena cada lagrima que me saco. Es perfecto para leer en esta época de fiestas. Amo a esta loca familia y leer los flashbacks fue muy lindo.

Lily and the flash backs that came with it.. it gave us some much needed laughter while going through a lot. It was an emotional roller coaster ride but I always love it and can’t wait for more!

Amazing
