The psychologist and the super-soldier!

The Hero: Logan - he was former military special forces and was held captive as part of Project Arma for over two years and given a super-soldier serum which altered his DNA and gave him supernatural abilities, like speed, strength, fast healing, super hearing and more. He eventually escaped and found some other men like himself. Together they rescued his team, who were still being held. Since then, his team had moved to a new town, Cradle Mountain, Idaho and started up a private security firm. Then suddenly an article was published that told the world about him and what he could do.
The heroine: Grace - eight years ago she was held hostage, tortured and brutalizes her. Her experience changed her forever. Since then, she has devoted herself to helping other women as a therapist. She was the therapist for some of the women involved with the Navy SEALs in Marble Falls and the women told her everything about their lives, including the fact that their significant others were part of project Arma and had abilities due to their enhanced DNA.
The Story: Logan blamed Grace for the fact that the article had been written, and he and his brothers were outed to the world. The information came from her. Logan was not happy at all when Grace showed up at his office wanting to apologize for what happened. The reporter had threatened her, and she felt she had no choice but to give him the information for his article. Grace couldn’t really give a good explanation other than that because she refused to tell anyone what she was threatened with.
This story was good, though Grace didn’t give up her secrets easily, I could kind of see why but I think she should have trusted Logan with it a lot sooner. I also wished that there would have been more opportunities for Logan to show his enhanced abilities. There wasn’t enough of that. I mean what is the point of having a Hero with such abilities if he isn’t going to do much more than carry her five miles after she gets blisters on her feet. There were more mentions of the enhanced abilities, but I wished for more of that.
This audiobook was in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Ava Lucas and Aiden Snow. Ava Lucas has a soft, pretty voice which is very pleasant. Though every now and then her voice reminds me of the woman that plays Ellis Grey on Grey’s Anatomy. Aiden Snow is one of my favorite male narrators. He has a deep, sexy voice and I will listen to anything he narrates, he could read a phone book, and I would listen. He is great at using different voices and accents for different characters.

5 stars for Aiden Snow and Ava Lucas
Book: 3.5 stars, but rounding up
I actually enjoyed this a lot more than I anticipated. The flow of the relationship didn’t really work for me, but the mystery is what kept me engaged. Yes I knew the “twist” early on but that didn’t deter me from enjoying this.
I probably will pick up more Nyssa Kathryn in the future!
This gave some MF version of the “Metahuman” series because the men of Logan’s team are genetically altered to have enhanced speed, strength, hearing and more.

This is a spin off of the Arma Series which was a great series to get invested in.
Logan and his team are in Cradle Mountain where they opened a security company called Blue Halo like the guys from the Arma Series. They also go on missions and work with the local police to help with particular projects.
Grace is a counselor and the woman and men trusted her with their secrets but after someone threatened her and her dads safety she betrayed that trust. Now Grace is in Cradel Mountain to make amends to those men she betrayed.
Grace's past is filled with a horrific secret, one that gives her nightmares, panic attacks, and anxiety. She is asked to help the women that Blue Halo just rescued from a sex trafficking operation so she is staying a bit longer than expected. With Grace and Logan spending a lot of time together Logan has broken down some of Grace's barriers and now for the first time Grace wants to see where this could go. It's been 8 years since a man touched her and she did not have anxiety to go along with it.
Grace's story is sad and filled with emotion. But the relationship with her a Logan is so sweet and his patience is so heartwarming. I am hooked an another series by the great mind and imagination of Nyssa Kathryn.

Well this author clearly does because Logan became a five star read for me before I'd even made it half way through the book.

Gorgeous protective Alpha males, quirky, adorable side characters, a Heroine with a beautiful, unstoppable strength, sizzling chemistry and a connection so sweet it had me
The scenes were set beautifully and flowed perfectly for me. The characters weren't only believable, they were a true pleasure to read.
I can not wait for May do I can dive straight back into this incredible world.

I loved this. Logan was a protective man, so attentive to her, he was there for her, he was so cute. He never pressured her and loved her so much. Grace had been through something horrific and she managed to survive, that's remarkable, I loved her strength. She really blossomed, Logan really helped her with that and all their friends and the town. This book was beautiful and I loved Grace's story, she deserved the freaking world

Kathryn’s new series, Blue Halo, is off to a promising start with Logan – book one in the series. Like Project Arma, Logan and his team were taken and experimented on – to make super soldiers and now they are trying to move past that nightmare, start fresh, and start a business. Little did they know that their past was going to be exposed and make their day-to-day lives difficult before they even get their business off the ground. With their town surrounded by news media and reporters, it seems like they’re in a new kind of hell. Aside from trying to navigate the press, their team is deep in a mission rescuing young women from sex traffickers and finding the scum responsible. As if that’s not bad enough, a new frustrating wrinkle – by the name of Grace Castle makes an appearance offering apologies and seeking absolution. Nothing that Logan or his team wants to hear. Logan is a great story with fantastic characters and a gripping storyline that draws you in from the beginning. Secrets, past trauma, suspense, mystery, danger, action, intrigue, and romance with shocking twists, and more. Awesome start to a new series and I’m looking forward to the next book.

4.5⭐️ Thrilling Romantic Suspense. (CW-Possible Triggers)

I’ll be honest, going into this I thought I knew I would love the Blue Halo Team but that Grace would be a hard sell for me and it would take a while for me to warm up to her.
In reality I don’t just love the Blue Halo Team, I blinking adore them….I think even more than the original Project Arma boys (Luca…..sigh….)
Grace I totally fell for in about chapter 2. Her acceptance, and honesty around what she had done and how she faced up to it and what impact it had on the Team really made me do a 180.
I loved how this series has been laid out so far, accentuating the differences between Blue Halo and Arma, not just continuing the story on from Kye. They are different people who have been through something simple but different and have their own personalities and challenges, and it shows.
Logan is just swoonworthy, so angry in the beginning yet so accepting in the face of Grace wanting to almost be hated for what she had done. Their fall was epic to read, and the way he just knew how she needed him to give her space gave me butterflies.
An exciting thrilling storyline underpins this book which reallly contains an awful lot of story, yet weaves it so well together. We have the Logan and Grace falling in love story, the people trafficking storyline as well as an introduction to all the team members, enough to get you salivating for their individual stories, and an introduction to Cradle Mountain, the side characters and the worlds most awesome coffee shop. Feels like it should be war and peace, yet it isn’t but doesn’t feel rushed at all.
So if you hadn’t guessed, I throughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend. And if you are one of those truly luckily individuals who have not yet read the Project Arma series, you don’t have to at all to enjoy this book. But you should because it’s totally awesome!! (And might add to your enjoyment and understand a little more)

Logan:
Okay... I am not gonna lie. I was really wondering how I was going to like Grace. I mean what happened at the end of Kye I found myself going Nooo!
Well let me tell you how wrong I was and how quickly my mindset shifted within the first few chapters. This girl has a pure heart, her honesty and bravery speaks volumes to her character and who she is! And this girl was put in hell!
~I don't know what it is about you, but you take away some if the fear that I have never been able to shake.
Logan despite how angry he is. And he is angry! Which he has every right to be. He was kidnapped held against his will and experimented on, now, he has to face the backlash of their story being exposed to world, and with that comes being hassled by media. Despite that, despite what Grace did he looks at Grace and sees her. Really sees her. He is willing to listen and get to the bottom of the why's she is keeping locked away. Logan is absolutely amazing when it comes to Grace. ****Sigh*** , no really when you read it you will see why I had a sigh there.
~Everyday I spend with you, my feelings grow. The thought of losing you is.... terrifying.
I love how these guys will still be mentioning the Project Arma guys, but I also love how this is their own unique story. Its different than what Project Arma was as a series.. yes these guys have the same life altering super drug and had the common goal to take down the Project but what the Blue Halo guys experience was different and now we are learning what they are going to be going through post project with the world knowing who and what they are..
**eekkk** I cannot wait!!! We will be in for such a treat as Nyssa continues to write about the dream team that is the Blue Halo group! Well done! What a great start into this series. Inconclusion, is it too soon to start the count down for the next book?? Yes?? Ha.

Well let me tell you how wrong I was and how quickly my mindset shifted within the first few chapters. This girl has a pure heart, her honesty and bravery speaks volumes to her character and who she is! And this girl was put in hell!

Logan despite how angry he is. And he is angry! Which he has every right to be. He was kidnapped held against his will and experimented on, now, he has to face the backlash of their story being exposed to world, and with that comes being hassled by media. Despite that, despite what Grace did he looks at Grace and sees her. Really sees her. He is willing to listen and get to the bottom of the why's she is keeping locked away. Logan is absolutely amazing when it comes to Grace. ****Sigh*** , no really when you read it you will see why I had a sigh there.

I love how these guys will still be mentioning the Project Arma guys, but I also love how this is their own unique story. Its different than what Project Arma was as a series.. yes these guys have the same life altering super drug and had the common goal to take down the Project but what the Blue Halo guys experience was different and now we are learning what they are going to be going through post project with the world knowing who and what they are..

Logan and Grace took me for quite the ride! She wants to make things right, while he needs to find a way around his anger. And when Grace swallows her fear and faces the men she betrayed head on, everyone has a few shocks coming their way. But can Logan and Grace hold their happiness, or is someone going to rip away the best thing either of them has ever known?
I knew I needed more of these guys after the end of the Project Arma series, and I’m very pleased to say that we absolutely won’t be disappointed in what this series has to give. We have new twists, new dilemmas, new dangers, and new faces to get to know. But we also have a tie to the original group of men we loved so much and the knowledge that they’re not far away from this crew. And while Logan and Grace definitely deserved to have their tale told first, I can’t wait to see what we have in store for the rest of the men. After all, Grace was no weak woman and I’m pretty sure any woman who grabs the attention of the other men won’t be either. And I still didn’t want to put this book down, so I can assure you that this series will be just as “grab you and refuse to let go” as the first one was, which is totally fine by me. I loved how Logan and Grace grew from cautious strangers to so much more, all while developing friendships with others and keeping me wondering what may come next. Im sure that Jason and a certain coffee woman will be just as engaging to me and I can’t wait to spend time with them either.

This new series could be considered a spin off of the author’s series, Project Arma. A series where a group of elite military warriors were put in an experimental project with the intend of enhancing their body. Unbeknown to them, they were in fact guinea pigs in a drug trial that was off the books . One that almost got them killed until they finally got their revenge.
This separate group of men, who underwent the same experiment, are now established and own a security company. Things were going well until their story was published and now reporters are constantly harassing .

Logan is an amazing new series that's a spin off from the Project Arma series. Heroine Grace was the betrayer of the last series and the author did an outstanding job of redeeming her in this story. The old adage of not judging someone unless you take a walk in their shoes is very much one we see in this story. Although Project Arma has been disbanded the fall out from the horrors still very much affect the Blue Halo guys. Grace's history is still haunting her footsteps as well. When these two trauma affected individuals connect and their pasts come back to affect their lives these two support and love one another as they fight back. The author did a perfect job of giving the readers the trauma without hitting us over the head with the details. The very satisfying HEA wrapped this story up with a bow.

We originally met Grace in the Project Arma series and does something that breaks her oath. But when you find out her back story and I mean what a story it makes you understand.
Logan was a part of Project Arma and he and his team are starting fresh in Cradle Mountain they have created a security company called Blue Halo and together with his team they are going to use what has been done to them to fight the evil in the world.
Logan and Grace have a lot to overcome and you can't help but root for them. This book has passion, mystery, and good old fashion who can you trust.
If you haven't read Nyssa Kathryn's first series Project Arma then definitely do it then jump into Logan and watch it continue. You don't need to read the first series to read this series but what a reading binge for if you can't devour series after series.

Such a great start to a new series! I had a hard time putting this book down to go to work. Logan will be your new book boyfriend. This book really had all the feelers in it. You can’t help but love grace and realize what a fighter she is the further you get into the story. Also I can’t wait for more Courtney! Her side character just put a smile on my face. The ending has a twist that I totally didn’t see coming. I received a ARC for my review and I’m so happy I did

Romantic suspense is the subgenre I have had the hardest time finding consistently decent books. I don't even need them to be amazing. Just not terrible. Unfortunately, the lows are low. It's a delicate balance between an engaging suspense plot and romantic tension but Nyssa Kathryn does it well. This is my third series by her and I have enjoyed every single book. This was a quick sub 300 page read that I flew through in one sitting. Keep em coming.

Project Arma, just the name should make you think!
Allow me to add a more preface here. This novel is the first in the Blue Halo series by Nyssa Kathryn. A novel I simply could not wait for, but also a continuation of the Project Arma series. I made a reference in Mason and Sage's novel about reflection of government trials, tests, and other great words for using soldiers as guinea pigs for enhancement, knowledge gained about psychic abilities, strength between races, etc. Frankly, a reflection of our current society, the three above are actual trials our government (USA) actually got caught in, let alone the famous Area 51, testing for radiation. These things and Ms. Kathryn's wonderful researching, give credence to this series of novels that started 8 books ago. While some might consider futuristic,or even fantasy,we cannot ignore the facts that our government and military (I lump them together, the military is under the government's thumb) have in the past conducted testing on military men and women without their knowledge, or by uninformed consent gathered. We haven't all the facts, we have what we are allowed, hence my reasoning for the reflectiveness of these novels. Now, with that large preface, allow me...
The second part of Project Arma is the Blue Halo series. Logan is book one. We met Logan and Jason in Mason and Sage's novel. The first set of books, series, Project Arma. Blue Halo picks up where the guys from Marble Falls left off, with Logan and Jason who started the Blue Halo security company. But they do more than the guys from Marble Falls. They pick up government and other off the books operations, where a group is needed without the constraints of the law, who understand what happens if they are caught.
Now, back to where we are, Grace,the whistle blower,or so it seems, travels to Blue Halo to apologize to the members of BLS (Blue Halo security). We have no idea for what when the novel begins or why she is so frightened. Caught by Logan in the BHS office searching a desk, Grace is scared but unable to escape from Logan. Logan isn't certain just how remorseful Grace is, she gives no explanation, or reasoning for why she told a reporter what she did...
However, the next morning Logan and teammates on hand are surprised when she does return to apologize. Not exactly generous, again she refuses to elaborate why. Yet, there is something, something that pulls Logan toward Grace.
Here we go again, this novel is more suspense than thriller, which the previous 8 seemed to me, but it's suspense with pure horror. Psychotic Sociopath, abduction of women for trafficking, and reporters out of control. All which like the previous 8 are reflective of our society,along with battered women.
Again, Ms Kathryn,amazing researching, the underlying themes are many. But all revolve around real life issues of today. Abduction occurs to frequently daily, hourly, every minute, every day, of women, children, and men, sold to traffickers. Our reporters and investigative journalists seem to have no boundaries or care about the lives they destroy for money, or the golden coin, A Pulitzer. Sadly all underlying issues are very real in our world today. Regardless of what is done, greed rules the theme, as well as, underlying themes in this novel. Greed, is not the desire for more and more money, Greed is the unconscionable need for more and more power.
Power, money makes power easier to achieve, but so does fear, entrapment into something unknown or hidden, and simple abuse. All provide a greater ability to collect power.
Grace and Logan's novel illustrates the need for power in many forms, reporters with no caring,(even willing to blackmail/coerce), control through fear,and abuse (which returns to fear), and pure fear of being found out.
Grace and Logan's novel is extremely powerful and moving. Except for Marble Falls, Grace has been moving constantly for years. Finally, after much insanity during here supposed short stay to apologize to the men of BHS, insanity brings Grace back to Logan's team and she agrees to stay to "help". It's all chaos, insanity, and power struggle from there till Logan and Grace's story ends.
Now, I have been to verbose, and must cut off...
Needless to say, it is another terrific novel by Nyssa Kathryn, continuing with the men from Project Arma. If you haven't read the first set of novels,go back, catch up, because it is worth every moment!
Nyssa Kathryn is a great romantic suspense author. Though, she deserves kudos, and should also be tagged as thriller. Well written, amazingly descriptive novels that draw you in, and do not allow you to stop till the end of the book.
Blue Halo security continues the Project Arma collection, and while this novel is capable of standing alone, you truly do not want to miss the others.

We met Logan in the Project Arma series in Mason's story I believe. He was already a character I really wanted to read about and I'm happy he got his own story. We meet Grace in Kye's story I believe although it was mentioned that Grace was also Evie's therapist too so Grace may have been introduced earlier. In Kye's story, we learned that Grace has helped Samantha overcome a lot. But at the end, there was a cliffhanger that made us question Grace's character. It is not necessary to read the Project Arma stories because this new series catch you up on what happened to the team's past. This new series is about what happens after fighting their enemy. Now, these guys are trying to make the world a better place by putting their enhanced abilities to something good.
Something I really loved about Nyssa Kathryn's writing is that she can really show different types of relationships. For example, even though the two teams (Luca's and Logan's) share a common enemy, their relationship towards each other versus towards those within their team is different. Each team respects the other, but there is a greater trust and brotherhood only for those in their respective team. This makes it so much more realistic to visualize. Oh, and she is the best at making us want to read the next book as soon as possible.
I really hope all the other guys in Logan's team gets their own story whether it's in a different series or if Nyssa Kathryn decides to create more for the Blue Halo series. Logan and Grace reminded me of Luca and Evie. Logan is so gentle around Grace. Lots of new characters are introduced to set up the series. I can't help but find similarities between Project Arma and Blue Halo. I am most excited for Blake's story. He reminds me of Eden. I love an angsty romance like with Eden and Shylah.
In this book, we see Logan go from not trusting Grace to falling in love with her. We see Grace overcoming her fears. While in my opinion, there isn't as much danger surrounding the characters as I expected, it is still satisfying to read about these characters finding happiness after what they have been through.

Logan is a former Navy SEAL. He and his teammates had been kidnapped and held hostage forcing them to be a part of experiment to create the perfect super soldier. They all now have enhanced abilities. Now they are free and trying to get back to a normal life, however, keeping their special abilities under wraps proves difficult. They opened up Blue Halo, an independent security company in the small town of Cradle Mountain, Idaho. Grace is a psychologist that just wants to help women live a better healthier lives. However, she is put in a position where she had to reveal the secrets of some of her clients or endanger her own life and the life of her father. What she revealed about the Logan and his team brought a lot of attention to the team both good and bad. Before running and relocating, Grace decides she must apologize to the men in person. When she arrives in Cradle Mountain, all of the team are not in town so Jason talks her into staying a few days until the rest of the guys return so she can apologize in person. Jason is not satisfied with just a simple I'm sorry. He wants to know why she did what she did. Grace has her own demons and while waiting in Cradle Mountain hers finds her after eight years of searching. Can she trust Jason and his team to forgive her and keep her safe?
This is the first book in a new series by this author. If your looking for a bit of romance with a lot of action and intrigue then look no further. This book has it all. I love the characters. They are so well developed and the dialog and banter between the team is on point making this book such an enjoyable read. Not only does this book have enough suspense and romance to keep you captivated from page one, but Kathryn deals with the very real issues of PTSD, kidnapping, surviving, healing and learning to trust again. I think I'm going to like this series even better than than the first!

Logan and Grace
This was the perfect beginning to this spin off series. It was a story of finding love when you least expect it. It was about redemption and forgiveness. It was a great introduction to the Blue Halo team and the town of Cradle Mountain.
Grace arrives in Cradle Mountain to apologize to the Blue Halo team for exposing all their secrets. Just as they had taken out Project Arma and had a chance at freedom, her actions created a media frenzy for all the men. But as angry as Logan and his team were about her actions, they all forgive her pretty quickly.
Logan had a lot of anger, not just towards Grace, in the beginning of the book. His character arch was exceptional. When he forgave Grace and saw the pain and fear she was so desperately trying to hide, he had no choice but to let go of his anger.
Logan and Grace fell in love pretty quickly. Grace went from being unable to handle a man’s touch to craving Logan in a matter of weeks. I thought that spoke volumes to Logan’s character and his protective nature. I wasn’t really surprised by the link between Grace’s past and Logan’s case. It was intense but there were enough clues early on for me to see where his case was leading.
Overall, this was a great start to this spin off series. It set the tone and established that this series would be different than the Project Arma series.

I have a few go to authors for romantic suspense that I have to read every book, this author has made it on that list….WOW
Grace is a therapist that made a decision that ruined the lives of many, and she heads to Cradle Mountain to apologize in person to the men at Blue Halo. Her first encounter and apology is to Logan, one of the owners and one of the men she threw under the bus. Logan is frustrated and angry with all the media attention and when Grace offers her apology she owes it to all his men and convinces her to stay a few more days so she can do it in person. All is not all it seems to be with her, Logan wants the whole truth as to why she did it and slowly her walls crumble and when the truth is exposed….Logan will do everything in his power to keep her safe and with him.
WOW WOW WOW is not enough of a description for this read. You know the author has talent when a character you want to hate because of their deeds, turns it around and all you want to do is shield and protect them just as fiercely. The emotional roller coaster feels so real, the descriptions are spot on and can’t help feeling like you are right there in the middle of all it all…feeling all of it as if you were the characters.
The story flowed beautifully and the suspense…heartbreaking and heart wrenching scenes…secrets revealed….emotions pouring off the pages…the steam…holy smokes…the steam…amazing characters…once again and yet not enough…WOW !! 5 stars not enough !!

All is not all it seems to be with her, Logan wants the whole truth as to why she did it and slowly her walls crumble and when the truth is exposed….Logan will do everything in his power to keep her safe and with him.
WOW WOW WOW is not enough of a description for this read. You know the author has talent when a character you want to hate because of their deeds, turns it around and all you want to do is shield and protect them just as fiercely. The emotional roller coaster feels so real, the descriptions are spot on and can’t help feeling like you are right there in the middle of all it all…feeling all of it as if you were the characters.
The story flowed beautifully and the suspense…heartbreaking and heart wrenching scenes…secrets revealed….emotions pouring off the pages…the steam…holy smokes…the steam…amazing characters…once again and yet not enough…WOW !! 5 stars not enough !!

A great start to a new series. I love the characters and story!
Logan is a former special ops soldier that was used by the Project Arma team that is now all gone. However, just as the guys were cleaning up all of the Project Arma people, they were betrayed by one person, now all of them being hounded by reporters to get the full story and no one is free to live their life without the media hounding them. Logan thought that with his team he could run their security business and live peacefully, but their privacy is being breached because reporters think that everyone needs to know the full story.
Grace Castle had no choice in going public and going against her morals because if she doesn’t her life if forfeit all because someone threatened to reveal her past and it could lead back to her captivity. Little does she know when tries to apologize to the men at Blue Halo Security that she will find the protection and security that she needs, however, she will have to fight for both. These men are not happy with her, but Logan sees something in her and his protective nature comes out around her.
I loved the Project Arma series, and the Blue Halo series looks to be just as interesting, action packed, and addicting as the Project Arma books, even with all of the Project Arma danger out of the way. I loved Logan’s story and am looking forward to reading all of the other guys’ stories in the series. Nyssa Kathryn blew me away with the Project Arma series and I have a feeling the Blue Halo series is going to do exactly the same if Logan is a sign of things to come.
I will admit, when we met Grace in the Project Arma series, I liked her instantly and was gutted to find out her secret, but I had faith Nyssa Kathryn would right this wrong and boy did she and then some. Grace and Logan set the pages alight with their story and I soaked up every minute - until the VERY early hours of the morning it was that good of a page turner! It can certainly be read as a standalone and you will absolutely understand the story but it works so well as a link to Project Arma that I don't see why you wouldn't read these too.
I have wholeheartedly fallen for the gruff Logan and loved how Grace grew to trust and put herself out there safe in the knowledge he, and his team would always have her back. Outside of their story, Cradle Mountain is waking up and sharing it's stories, providing a safe haven for this team and just as I know I loved Logan, I am so eager to see more from this new team of special forces soldiers and see what is revealed along the way. I can't wait to read Jason - the quirky Courtney has already worked her way into my heart and I know Nyssa Kathryn won't disappoint.

I was curious how Nyssa Kathryn was going to continue the moment from her Project Arma series, but I should have never had any doubts that she could keep up the pace. Logan and Grace seamless create a new world in this spin-off series. We were left on a little big a cliffhanger at the end of the Project Arma series when Grace was found out to have told the secrets of the men and what was done to them. So we open up this series with Logan and his team starting up their business and Grace steps in to apologize for the ramifications of her revelations. Grace is keeping secrets and has a valid reason for spilling, but is holding all of that information close to the est. When Logan sees Grace, he sees through her and the fact that she feels conflicted about everything that is going on around her. Grace is in trouble though, and Logan will do anything needed to protect her.
There is a decent amount of world building in this book, but it doesn't take away from the story. We meet some core characters that we will be seeing in upcoming books, and well as getting to know the rest of the team a little bit better. This is a different take on suspense with the nature of the heroes in these books but Kathryn tells these stories in such a way that it doesn't seem far fetched. I am exited to see where this series takes us next.

April 12, 2022I loved Nyssa Kathryn’s Project Arma series, and I was slightly worried if I would like the new boys from Blue Halo, but I shouldn’t have been worried. We learned about Grace from Project Arma, and I was worried about how she would be portrayed here after she leaked all their private information to the press, opening up everyone from Project Arma to the whole world. But from the first Chapter we learned there was a deep, dark reason why she did what she did, and we feel along with her deep regret and how she wants them to know how she regrets what she did, even if she can’t tell them why she did it.
If you like story series that continue into different stories, then you will love Logan. We still hear about the boys and their girls from Project Arma, while setting up a whole new storyline I can’t wait to read more of.
As usual, there is plenty of action and an introduction to the new members of the team, setting up the series. I love the coffee shop. Nothing to do with my caffeine addiction promise :)

Amazing Book!! I could say so many things about it, but calling it amazing is the short version. When I read the first series written by Nyssa, I thought it was amazing and Nyssa came to be one of my favorite authors right away.
Logan's is even BETTER than the other books and those were awesome. I love this team, the story, the way it was written, the characters. The story and the relationship between Logan and Grace were written at the perfect pace, not rushed and not slow either. I could feel Grace's pain regarding what had happened to her eight years ago and the trauma and panic attacks.
Logan is an amazing man with a strong personality, but also willing to give Grace another chance and being gently and understanding with her. I also can't wait for Blake and Willow's book. They deserve a happy ever after.
The ending!! I loved the twist. I did not see that coming, honestly, until the last minute.
Now, I can't wait for Jason and Courtney. Those two are perfect for each other. I love Jason, he is like a big Teddy bear. Always calm and gentle. And Courtney is an amazing friend and person.
Love it. I would definitely recommend it and I will be reading the next book on this series.

This is the spin-off series of the Project Arma books, which were all ridiculously good. There’s always a slight doubt that a new series may not live up to the first one, but let me tell you that Ms. Kathryn totally delivered in Logan! I love how she started this new series by tying in some of the members from the Project Arma series, but had a whole new storyline and plot that completely sets this book apart. The book is fast paced, it’s got some mystery and definitely suspense, but she also delivers on the steam!
As for the characters, I love how Ms Kathryn writes an alpha hero! These men are big, strong, not to be messed with alpha military men that love and protect their women fiercely. And Logan…wow that man was amazing with how he helped and supported Grace. I honestly wasn’t sure that I would like Grace because of what she did at the start of the book, but she completely redeems herself and I honestly ended up loving her character. I feel like she and Logan really balanced each other out so well. And I cannot wait for Jason’s story! This book was an amazing start to what I’m sure will be an awesome series!

She turns up in Cradle Mountain to apologise to the Blue Halo team for talking to a reporter and exposing the experimentation they all went through which turned then into super soldiers. They last person they want to see is the woman who exposed their secret and brought the media on their doorstep. But as you get to know her you really can't help but like her, and eventually her reason.
This story really did have me on the edge of my seat, the suspense was so well written you can't help but get pulled into the story.
Logan is so patient and protective, a true swoon-worthy gentleman. And his Blue Halo colleagues are no different.
I love how this series links back to Project Arma, but the characters still have their own story to tell. I just know I'm going to absolutely love this series too.

The author did an awesome job with Grace, a woman who went through the worst and survived, she describes her pains, fears and all the in-between states of panic attacks and guilt consumption. An other emotional and action filled read.
