There are no words. This was amazing. Every single bit of it. Lucas and his giant, soft heart. I loved that he knew what he wanted and wasn't going to stop going for it. Sophie was super sweet. And Jimmy....what a darling! Ugh!
This book was swoon-worthy. It was HOT. It made me laugh, it made me sigh, there were parts that infuriated me....
And I fell in love with SOOO many other characters!!!! I am praying fervently that there will be other books coming out with these people?!?! I have to know that all these lovable guys and gals get their happily ever afters!

4.5 Stars for Enflamed ( The Everyday Heroes World)
Shea Brighton is a new author to me but after reading Enflamed that’s about to change, one of the things I love about The Everyday Heroes World is meeting new authors who have given me stories in a world I have come to love.
This is single mum Sophie Matterson and firefighter Lucas Corelli’s journey, she is not looking for love and he is desperate to find the woman of his dreams. An accident changes everything for this pair and from the moment he sees Sophia he knows his life will never be the same so can he convince her to take a chance, to take a leap of faith knowing he will catch her……
This book has all the feels, it has wonderful characters and a story that will draw you in from the first few pages and won’t let you go until you have read the final line. It’s about love and trust and it will certainly appeal to all romance lovers.

I really enjoyed this one. This book had me at single mom romance and Lucas being a firefighter. The characters had me gobbling up the pages. I loved Lucas and Sophie. Lucas is so good for Sophie and her son Jimmy. The bond being created between Lucas and Jimmy warmed my heart. Their first meeting was a heart stopping one, but shows Lucas' compassion. I loved Lucas' family. I love how they give him a hard time. Sophie so deserves someone like Lucas in her life and her corner after what she has been through. There is one character that I wanted to smack some sense into. I hated how she made Sophie doubt herself as a mom. Not cool!! This book brought all the feels along with the heat and good dose of humor. I would so recommend this one! Lucas is going to have you swooning!

Lucas is a firefighter looking for a deeper kind of relationship. Sophie is a single mom with a son, Jimmy, not looking for a relationship. They meet when Sophie and Jimmy are in a car accident and Lucas pulls Jimmy from the car. Protecting them both later as they start a steamy relationship. When threats are made against her custody of her son, friends and family surround her.
The characters are well defined, with great backstories and determination. The storyline has drama, danger, threats, emotional pain, steam, apologies and so much more. Loved their chemistry and how they accepted each other totally, especially when the other was scared to open up. Great ending and hope there is more to read about this group.

I am a sucker for a single mom story and add in a hot firefighter looking for love, and I was all in. I loved how Lucas is the one ready for more and has to work hard to show Sophie he is exactly what she needed. Their chemistry was intense and I loved her devotion to her son and how Lucas took to it quickly.

I absolutely LOVED this book ! The plot was interesting.. the characters were great. The alpha male was Loki g for the one .. the love of his life and the main leading lady wanted NOTHING to do with relationships. It was great to read how they ended up being what each other needed in life. HEA guaranteed!! Highly recommend.

I very much enjoyed this read. A Mom loves and is devoted to her child. What's better than that? An excellent story about priorities, meeting and getting to know a good person. You won't be disappointed reading this story.

A brand new author to me but I'm loving what I just drank up like my morning cup of coffee.
A single mom who for a flip isn't looking for a relationship finds her match with a man who does. The writing makes these characters feel like more. I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is another good addition to the Everyday Heroes World. In this story the hero is Lucas. He is a firefighter who proudly serves his community but knows that there is more out there for him. He just has to find her. Sophie is a focused single parent who does not want anything more. The attraction between them is not what she is prepared for. He still knew the moment he saw her that she was important. Lucas gives everything he can towards having them both in his life. I liked the characters, the way they interacted together and around her son.

A beautiful love story that was breathtakingly romantic and beautifully inspiring. From the heart-stopping and soul-shattering to the swoon-worthy and breathtaking moments. This story has all the feels. I felt everything the characters experienced. I laughed, cried, felt the joy and every ounce of pain. The emotions radiated from the pages.

Sophie is a teacher. She should be smart enough to know that just because someone is petitioning for custody doesn't,mean they'll get it. The grandmother would have to PROVE she's an unfit parent. No judge is going to take her son away because she sent him to his other grandparents for a night
But of course we need unnecessary drama because lord forbid there's no drama and we need that tiresome 3rd act break up or else who will enjoy the book
Why do married people think single people shouldn't date when they have a child. Sophie should have told Ruth to dump her husband if she truly believes you have to remain single to raise a child. Like seriously married couples get sitters for dates all the time. It would make sense if it were many men over the years. Ruth needs a kick in the teeth.
