Sierra is a USA Today, International Best-Selling author who wrote her first book at age nine and hasn't stopped since. Sierra invites you to share the complex journey of love and desire, of surrender and commitment. Her own journey has taught her that trusting takes guts and courage, and her work is a celebration for everyone who is willing to take that risk.
Winter works for Hope, a professional matchmaker who has just been hired by Lucas Rutherford, a billionaire looking for a wife. Lucas rejects all the possible candidates that Wynter presents to him, since he is only interested in one: her. Winter resists at first since the idea of Lucas and marriage is more of an agreement and she wants to marry for love. Then there is the fact that Lucas is totally into BDSM and she has no experience in sex at all. Super hot and romantic story.
5 Star Review Ruthless Billionaire (Titans # 6) by Sierra Cartwright
I love the Titan series, so I couldn’t wait to dive in to Ruthless Billionaire and as expected Sierra Cartwright has delivered another great read. The writing was strong and the story flowed well.
I fell hard and fast for Lucas and Wynter both separately and as a couple; there was something about him that ticked the boxes for me and I was quickly invested in the story that Ms. Cartwright wove.
Lucas has been burned in the past and so decides to contact a matchmaker Wynter to find him a wife; love not required. Wynter is there to help him find his match but complications quickly arise when there is attraction sizzling between them. However Wynter is looking for love, not a loveless match so nothing can go any further between them.
Who will win this face off? Lucas or Wynter? It was entertaining to watch the dynamic of their push and pull relationship.
This was a hot and passionate story and the chemistry between Lucas and Wynter is scorching.
Lucas and Wynter book is full of tension and sizzle. I absolutely love this book, I love that these characters are looking for completely different things and somehow still can’t resist the attraction between themselves. Sierra Cartwright one of the only writers that write such fantastic romance BDSM and tension but also great sizzle. If you enjoy this would recommend checking out others of her books.
Ruthless Billionaire is an insta-love story, and you either buy it or you don’t. I believed in the intense pull between Lucas and Wynter. They feel an instantaneous attraction to one another. So that makes for a quick read, right? Well, not quite when Wynter is starting work at a matchmaking service that Lucas has hired to find him a wife—and she not only doesn’t match his requirements, but is seeking true love, something the twice-married Lucas has flat said he doesn’t want.
You’ve got contrasts here—the experienced and jaded Lucas versus the starry-eyed Wynter, where he’s also an experienced Dom and she’s a newbie to submission. (One thing I really loved was that any dom/submissive elements were relatively minor and were kept private to Lucas and Wynter. That seemed a logical way to ease someone into that lifestyle.)
But I struggled a bit with Wynter’s job. Once Lucas (basically instantly) realizes he wants Wynter, he wants to withdraw from his matchmaking contract. But Wynter denies this and keeps looking for matches for him (remember, he doesn’t want true love). That didn’t make sense to me. He’s the client; if he says he no longer wants her company’s matchmaking services, why would she—or more importantly, her boss—ignore that? There were also smaller jarring elements, like the newbie employee Wynter having the ability to disappear with Lucas for a day or take vacation time. Almost every company I know doesn’t let you have time off immediately when you start a new job!
But I liked the core of this story—that holding out for love matters more than intense attraction and sensual pull. Wynter stands her ground, and watching Lucas realize that he’s fallen in love without even knowing it’s happened makes for a treat of a read.
'Ruthless Billionaire' is Sierra Cartwright's fifth book in her "Titans" series and, just like one of her characters, I just have to say it just keeps getting better. Wynter was a practicing attorney who now works for Prestige Matchmaking Service. The business has increased exponentially and Wynter has been given her first client to service and tries to match. An exciting moment, right? Maybe. It's Hope and Rafe's friend and fellow Titan, Lucas Rutherford, the American prince himself. To put it plainly, Lucas really isn't interested but marriage and heir are now a necessary evil in his mind. When Wynter first meets him she calls him out on his behavior, not caring for his money or society standing to mince words. Lucas becomes intrigued. There's a bit of cat and mouse game in the beginning and of course, you know a Dominant has his ways. Wynter not only falls for the man but is introduced to BDSM. But even with all the experience together Wynter finds someone who is a 100% match for Lucas and calls Red. This is a rollercoaster of emotions for all involved, especially Wynter's BFF. The scenes are scintillating, causing my heart to pound on more than one occasion. I hope there are more coming in this series because I would really like to see a few more of the Titans get their happy ending as well.
Another "fall in love over 24 hours" scenario and this is the only issue I have with it.
This is the second take on matchmaker match herself. And again we have a willing hero and heroine who is against the idea and stubbornly tries to find her client a "proper" wife. Also _split and realization of being in love_ is a repeating scenario again. Nothing wrong with that too besides timeline being accelerated to a maximum level. Billionaire's Matchmaker is better on this, because there were multiple interactions and conflict was deeper. Here we get couple of meetings and one scene and suddenly both are in love. This is more appropriate for Barbara Cartland romances (well, minus all the hot detailed stuff :)). I think I grumble because I love author so much and I would like to see a longer stories from her. This looks cropped and unnaturally accelerated.
Find the love you seek by first finding the love within yourself...
Titan men rule!! They are dominant, authoritative and I cannot leave out panty melting. Lucas Rutherford fits that description to a "T". He has himself a predicament. He needs a heir but his track record is less than desirable. Being burned by two women has him wanting a woman to bear his children, but it must be all business. He applies to a matchmaking service and is taken aback when he sees Wynter Ferguson.
Wynter is new to the matchmaking profession but is keen to impress her friend and boss Hope. She is tasked to find a wife for the notorious Lucas Rutherford. When she first meets him their chemistry is off the charts sizzling. They each have their own definition of what a marriage should entail and they are polar opposites. Lucas keeps his heart nailed shut and he soon realizes by doing so that he let the best thing that has ever happened to him get away.
As always Sierra Cartwright gives us a gift with her stories that you can visit again and again.
After losing in the love game, Lucas has agreed to let his friend Hope's matchmaking services help him find a wife. He wants the wife, kids, and picket fence, but not love. Wynter has been assigned to the grumpy Titan, and she's determined to find him a wife...no matter how attracted she is to him.
When Lucas meets Wynter, she's prepared to give him several options on a possible wife. When a meet and greet is setup, Lucas wants none of the prospects. For some reason, he wants Wynter. Having her own bad luck in the love department, Wynter is still holding out for her HEA. As attracted as she is to Lucas, she won't settle for a loveless marriage. Being the Titan he is, Lucas won't be deterred from getting what he wants.
This was such a beautiful story. I loved Lucas' grumpy persona, but getting to see the man underneath the armor was so heartwarming. As Lucas and Wynter get to know each other, they discover things about themselves. Although he's used to people jumping at his command, Wynter. holds her own quite well. This series just keeps getting better and better.
A very enjoyable Titan story. I have yet to read on that I did not like. This is a story about how a reputation (albeit not accurate) can almost end a relationships before it really begins. Lucas, having been married twice, needs a wife and turns to a matchmaker for a wife. The only problem, having been hurt in the past, does not want to find a wife based on love. It is all about the other details of a relationship. Wynter, is assigned to help him find his choice of a life partner. Unfortunately, it does not go as planned. Attraction takes over and they start on a very hot and steamy relationships all while Wynter is trying to find him that perfect match and he is determined not to look/find love in a relationship. Wynter is a romantic and will not setting for anything less than love. Time will tell who, if either of them, gives in. It is a very good read. My only complain, if it really is one, is that I found it a rather shorter read than I normally like. But that aside, it is a good story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love all the books in the Titan world. I loved both main characters, Lucas and Wynter. Lucas is using Holly’s (from a previous Titan book) matchmaking company to help find him a wife. His handler is Wynter, who is new to the company. Lucas and Wynter have an instant chemistry and Lucas makes the decision that she is who he wants to marry. Even though Wynter is insanely attracted to him, she tries to fight the connection. Their views on marriage are very different. Lucas has been hurt previously and this time he has decided love is off the table, whereas Wynter doesn’t necessarily view it that way when it comes to her own marriage. She wants to marry for love. I loved this latest installment in the Titan world. Can’t wait to see who is next. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lucas needs to get married because he needs a heir and a spare (yes, this is a contemporary romance, I checked). He is jaded after two previous divorces and signed up for a matchmaking company, saying that he's not interested in love but expects physical chemistry. Wynter, the matchmaker, reads through his requirement and thinks he's a massive jerk, but he is also rather hot so she's in trouble. He is a dom and gives Wynter a hands-on introduction to the BDSM lifestyle. Lucas is cocky and not very good at taking no for an answer but he makes it good for Wynter too.
The story is written in the third person perspective and the writing is compentent. It is part of a series that I haven't read but I didn't think it mattered too much. Steam level: spanking and mild bondage. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the first book I've read by this author, but as this is a genre I enjoy I was pleased to be able to review it. Although I hadn't read the any of the other books in the series I didn't feel it affected my reading of this one.
This book tells the story of Lucas and Wynter. He's a billionaire looking for a mother for his child and Wynter works for the company who will find one for him. Simple? Of course it's not! There is an instant attraction between them but he doesn't want to admit to it being any more than that. She's more honest but won't settle for anything less than love. Will they find their happy ever after?
A good read with well written characters and plotline(s). I'm looking forward to reading future books in this series.
Another great read in this series. Because of his past hurt Lucas is looking to find a woman who is willing to give Lucas what he wants in the way he wants it. Love has no place in his life anymore. As a match maker Wynter is up to the task of finding Lucas the perfect wife but neither of them expect the attraction that sparks between the two.
I enjoyed Lucas and Wynter’s story. The two are good together. It was good to see Wynter stand her ground. She believes in love and does not back down and Lucas has to work to get what he wants. He was not expecting to find what he did with Wynter, and it was nice to see their relationship take shape. Their story is a hot and engaging read. The characters are well rounded and endear themselves to the reader and the plot pulls you in from the start and does not let go until the end.
Lucas Rutherford is hardcore, hardened, and almost heartless. He’s just a man on a mission and going through the motions. But when his reality of marriage and producing an heir can no longer wait, he reluctantly accepts his fate. What he wasn’t expecting was the beautiful and engaging Wynter Ferguson, the woman tasked with finding and securing his future, with someone else. There’ll be none of that.
Wynter is intrigued by Lucas but quickly realizes he is multidimensional. He ignites a fire she doesn’t understand but can offer nothing else she wants or needs. But his pursuit is more than she bargained for.
Unfortunately, his heart isn’t available.
Another look into the BDSM world that enlightens and intrigues.
I adore the Titan series and after reading this one you will understand why! Lucas Rutherford is ruthless, dominant and at the same time debonair and entitled. After a few failed marriages he is jaded about love and intimacy but he needs an heir. He hires a matchmaking service to find him the perfect woman for this obligation. Wynter is assigned this client at the last minute, but she is enraptured by his picture, how will she react to the real thing? She is a formidable opponent to this larger than life Titan! Will she be able to resist his domineering personality and demands or will she bring him to his knees??? So many questions, that are all answered in this amazing story of betrayal, insta attraction and determination. I volunteered to review this story.
Lucas has been burned by "love" in the past and refuses to go there again. When he's told he must find a wife and produce an heir, he choses to let someone else find that person for him, but when Wynter walks in as his consultant in finding that wife, he decides he wants her. On the other hand, Wynter wants what her parents had, love...............which is something that Lucas won't give. The tug and pull between these two was great. You get all the emotions as their relationship grows and Lucas shows her all the pleasures they could have. But him not wanting to give his heart is a no go for her and she leaves. Will he realize that he really does love her and wants to build a life with her that includes laying everything on the line?
Ruthless Billionaire By: Sierra Cartwright 4 Star This book is a part of the Titans series, Book 6, it is a standalone book however I will always recommend reading the the books before because I’m a series reader that’s my thing. Lol. The main couple in this book are Lucas and Wynter. Lucas runs a billion dollar company and his father is pushing for him to get married and produce an heir. Lucas having two divorces under is belt has decided that he doesn’t need love just a mutual agree with whoever the mother of his child will be. Wynter works for Hope who owns a matchmaking service for the Uber wealthy. It’s Wynters job to find Lucas the perfect match. However things don’t always go as planed. This couple doesn’t work on paper but they work in all the ways that count.
This is book #6 in the Titans series and itnis Lucas and Wynter’s love story. This book does stand alone, however, there is some crossover of characters from other stories in the series. It definitely is worth reading them all if you haven’t so far.
Wynter is a matchmaker for a matchmaking service. Lucas is a client of the company becomes Wynter’s first client. Lucas instantly decides Wynter will be his in every way possible. Lucas is a swoony alpha male who goes after what he wants (Wynter). Wynter believes that true love exists and she refuses to settle for anything less. This great couple does get their HEA, along with a lot of steamy lovin’! . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lucas is a quintessential hardened billionaire! Burned by love twice, he is on a mission for a match, and there will be no emotions involved at all. Uh huh, yeah, right, because all that flies out the window when he sets his eyes on Wynter, his matchmaker. She wants what he won’t give, he is determined to have her, let the thrust and parry begin! He finally realizes he can’t have what he wants, and had what he always desired, and let it get away. She realizes he is everything she needed, and she didn’t push enough to get him to verbalize it. All that steam and heat buried the feelings they both had and, with some help from their friends, they finally were able to unearth it all <3
Sensitively written story if a billionaire who had two disastrous previous marriages thinking he would go into his next as a business proposition to get a family but truly searching for trye love and his HEA. He goes about it by signing up with a matchmaking company and unbeknowst to him once he finds his true love he pursues her ruthlessly. You have to read the book to find out who the true love turns out to be and follow them to their HEA. I'm not into BDSM but Sierra Cartwright weaves light BDSM into the romance adding an extra layer of steam. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Even though this is the sixth book of a series, you can easily read this as a standalone, like I did. Of course, I need to go back and read the other books!
Lucas makes quite a splash as a billionaire who just wants sex; no connection, no love. Wynter is assigned to be his matchmaker, to find the right woman for him. But, Lucas decides that he wants Wynter. Wynter tries to fight him, but the problem is that she wants Lucas as well.
Wynter and Lucas have such chemistry together. I enjoyed the back and forth between them. I hope the next book will be just as great.
I received an advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Lucas knows that his time has come that he needs an heir. He's been jaded by his ex and will only have a commitment with no love. Wynter is hired as his matchmaker and she isn't looking for love either. Lucas wants Wynter and she fights against him ever step of the way. They have amazing chemistry together and their journey to happiness was fraught with plenty of give and take. Will Lucas find that he really loves Wynter? Will they ever make it to their HEA? Great story. I'll be going back to read the rest of this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
4.5 I was hesitant about the rating because on the one hand the story is steamy, but on the other I felt like a cliche of romance with the innocent young girl who falls in love with the experienced man who has a BDSM penchant. The relationship between Wynter and Lucas is ultimately simple: he wants to convince her to marry him, and she only wants the love he does not offer her; so, how to cope? Still, the narrative works well because it's well-written and delivers on its promise of a very romantic instalove while still being steamy. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Lucas and Wynter get their book in the Titans series. Both of them have some baggage from their pasts. Their main difference is that Lucas is pretty much jaded while she still had faith that love was out there. These two might feel that spark, but it is not that easy. Wynter is a perfect match for Lucas. He just has to realize she is perfect woman to repair his broken heart. She responds to his dominance just not always in the way that he wants. It was a great addition to the series. I liked the storyline and characters. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sierra Cartwright really knows how to combine billionaire romance and BDSM into sizzlingly hot stories that are both captivating and swoonworthy. Ruthless Billionaire is no exception. Lucas Rutherford is both charming and arrogant. He always gets what he wants or goes after. What he didn’t count on was his idea of a relationship will be at direct odds with the woman he's set his sights on. Wynter Ferguson may be new to the matchmaking game but she's no pushover. She may give into his romancing and seducing her but in the end she's not willing to settle for anything less than an all encompassing love.
★ An enjoyable novella from this series of an exclusive society ★
—>>> Review Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars - “Are you brave enough to ask for it?” Lucas relentlessly pursues Wynter and turns on the charm until he manages to break down her reservations to give their chemistry a shot, regardless of the contract he had signed with her boss. But not realizing what a gem she was, meeting all her needs, burrowing into his broken heart no matter how much he tried to keep it protected from being hurt again, he callously ends up hurting the one person his heart really blossoms for. An enjoyable novella from this series of an exclusive society.
This is Book 6 in the Titans Series by this author. It is an opposites attract romance between billionaire Lucas and matchmaker Wynter. Their strong connection, instant chemistry, and the unconventional plot make for an entertaining read. It is a love story with some drama, humor, passion, and love, plus engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A great addition to the series. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

Ruthless Billionaire is the 6th book in the Titans series and features Lucas and Wynter, with appearances by Hope & Rafe. Wynter works for Hope's matchmaking business and Lucas is the first client assigned to her. Only he takes one look at her and no-one else will do. I loved the way he pursues her - and how she stands firm and refuses to settle for anything but true love. With a little help from their friends they find their HEA. A fairly short but satisfying read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Will another Titan bite the dust!? What’s not to love about Hope’s match making company using clients’ requirements to be matched by a computer! Yet as Wynter is assigned to facilitate Lucas’ matchmaking, she tries to deny the pull towards a man who doesn’t believe in fairy tales. Yet Lucas dismisses Wynter’s matches one by one, because he found the woman he wants. When Lucas uses his Titan talents on Wynter, he is surprised by what she offers. But is the end game lost with Wynter wanting it all? You have to read to find out and will love Lucas’ “Go Big!” moment!
