Brie Sofia lives and breathes books. Whether it’s reading, writing, collecting, designing or just yapping on about them. If it’s got books in the name, and romance is the game. She’s there.

She resides in Australia, with her dog Kodi.

Look there’s not much else she can write about herself, in third person. But her favourite animals are sharks and cows.

Vampires are a key part of her personality and she’s a bored Sagittarius.

A young woman wakes up in a man’s apartment and he is the only one who can see or hear her. She doesn’t even remember who she is. The man, Daine Bradley, teasingly calls her “Caspar”. Is she a ghost?

This short story is clever, charming and entertaining. There are pros and cons of this being an eleven chapter short story. Caspar and Daine are funny and lovable as they take their unusual situation in stride. I loved the sexy HEA, but there was no time for any explanations as to why things started off as they did. It’s a quick read that I finished in a few hours; the perfect low commitment feel-good diversion.

I recommend approaching this as a snack, not a full meal. It would help to have an appreciation for Fate, mysticism, or the unexplained.
