Many years ago, when I was getting back into regular reading after years of not picking up a book at all, I started again by going through the fiction section at my local library, alphabetically by author. When I got to Colm Connolly's The Voice I struck gold. I loved every line, every clever twist and turn, the suspense; and at the end, when the architect of the crime was revealed, I was even then left with an element of doubt thinking, 'Surely it wasn't them!' I think it would make an excellent suspense thriller film. I'd also recommend it as a good read. But with so many books out there to choose from, to read it once is enough.
