Jenna: This whole mail-order bride thing is total bullsh*t. I’m not doing it because I’m a free spirit with a pink streak in my hair and a girl band that’s going to take over the world. But my grandparents are old, and they beg me to just meet Matt Mistletoe. It can’t hurt, can it? Little do I know, but Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome’s soon got his sights set on me.
Matt: She’s feisty. She’s curvaceous. And she makes my mouth water as my fingers itch to spank that round a$$. I had every intention of sending Jenna right back to where she’s from, but then the sassy woman sizes me up and calls me a "stuck-up suit.” Are you kidding? Stuck-up? Suit? Please sweetheart, by the time this is over, my suit will be on the ground and you'll be begging for more.
I enjoyed reading Matt(Mail-Ordered Brides for Christmas Book 1)!!! All about Jenna a twenty-five year old lead singer in Lilly Popz a punk rock band & Matt Mistletoe a thirty-five year old Lawyer in Snow Valley, Montana. The two have been paired by a Mail-order service. Read about Matt & Jenna and see where this crazy mail-order idea takes them!!! This was a page turner, and there are tons of different emotions running throughout this book!!! Some will make you laugh and some will make you laugh & others will make your toes curl!!! I can’t wait to read book two!!!
Matt and his family live in a great little town but somehow the town is up for sale. Their mother encourages her sons to band together and buy the town. Then she learns that it is a requirement that the owner to be married. She finds a matchmaking service on line and signs up her sons. Matt isn't happy but is willing to give it a try for his mom. When he picks up his proposed bride, he is surprised because Jenna is nothing like any of his former girlfriends. However the more he gets to know her, the more he starts to believe his mom and the matchmake did find the right wife for him.
Jenna was raised by her grandparents. She and her friends have been following their dreams of becoming a famous girl punk band. They hasve just come back from a multi-state tour and she is visiting her grandparents. They are happy with Jenna's moderate success but they feel that is might be time for her to settle down and start a family. Her grandmother had signed her up for a match-making service on-line and has paid for a flight for Jenna to visit her proposed husband. Jenna is shocked but to please her grandmother, she promises to go visit. She has her doubts that the match will work since Matt is a lawyer and most lawyers are too stuffy for her. However Matt is nothing like she expected.
Matt, Book 5 of the Mail-Order Brides For Christmas series, was about 35-year-old Matthew "Matt" Mistletoe, a well-to-do attorney who owns his own practice, and 25-year-old Jenna Cook, the lead singer and co-founder of the Lolly Popz punk rock band.
Just a side note: This series was written in no specific order. However, Matt (by S.E. Law). While it didn't start from Matt's POV, it did state that he was to be the first of the brothers to meet his potential bride.) Nate's mail-order bride arrived not long after Matt's, so that should have been Book 2. But then again, Hartley had the preview that told how the whole scenario began, so it should have been first or second. This book should probably have been considered Book 1 or 2 since it was the first in the series to include all of the Mistletoe family AND told how the idea of a mail-order bride came about. However, by the time this story took place, Hartley's brothers Nate and Mason were already married. It could also have been the last book in the series as it mentioned the final purchase of the town by the brothers, and all of the brothers were already married in the epilogue. It also had a bit of a spoiler to several of the other books by naming the wives of some of the brothers.
Another Side Note: While this was written in dual POV, it was mostly from Jenna's POV, with a little of Matt's thrown in from time to time.
When the Mistletoe family learned that their small town was about to be sold to a large corporation that would turn their world into a tourist attraction, the six brothers decided to pool their inheritance together to buy it instead. There was only one problem with that idea, though. The town's founder had created a legal and binding codicil that stated whoever owned the town had to be married to do so...and none of the Mistletoe brothers were married. Fortunately (or unfortunately for the brothers, depending on how they looked at it), their mother had the perfect plan to circumvent the codicil...each brother would have a mail-order bride and be married before the New Year hit. This was Matt's story, which actually took place in the summer rather than at Christmas time, giving the two main characters several months to get to know each other.
Jenna's girl band had been together for six years, most of which was spent going on tour around the country. Each time they ended a tour, she would return home to her grandparents' home where she grew up. This time when she arrived back home, her grandparents had a surprise for her. They had signed her up as a mail-order bride and already had a groom waiting for her. They convinced her to take the two months she would be free from touring to go to Snow Valley, spend some time with her prospective husband, Matt, and see what she thought. While she wasn't happy about it, she caved to their will and decided to humor them long enough to get them off her back. However, she had no plans on marrying anyone, least of all a stuffy old suit of a lawyer.
This was a really good love story, with just the right amount of angst, drama, and spice. It had a decent rollercoaster ride of twists and turns, as well as some humor. There wasn't any real push/pull between the two main characters, and there wasn't any interference from outside forces. It was a free-flowing storyline from beginning to end.
The two main characters were well-developed, mature, and able to work through any conflict without walking away or being hysterical from either party. These two knew how to communicate like adults should. I gave this a full four-star rating because it earned it. I would have given it five but there were just enough errors to take it down a notch.
I had the privilege of reading this story in the Mail- Order Brides For Christmas Anthology but reading this story again as a stand-alone was such a pleasure as it gave more insight to how Matt the lawyer and Jenna the curvaceous blond wild colourful lead singer of Lolly Popz with the pink streak in her hair met and interacted with each other while she was visiting as a result of Matts mother Joy who used a mail order bride service to find her 6 sons wives to buy their town Snow Valley.
It is clear from the start that they have immense chemistry and Jenna was blinded by first impressions of how Matt looked all stuffy in a business suit but he sure put that notion out of her head in the first couple of days!
There was a reason why Jenna was chosen as a mail order bride for Matt as they had so much in common and knew how to accommodate each other! Jenna lightens up Matts days who is a workaholic lawyer and Matt grounds the wild child in Jenna and now he can’t wait to get home……
Will Jenna leave her girl band and settle in Snow Valley with the gorgeous Matt? Will Matt convince his curvy blonde to stay?
A sweet steamy insta love story that is sure to warm the soul !
Insta-Love Electrifying Romance Who would think a Mother’s dream of buying her town to stop a large corporation from turning the town into a tourist attraction would result in her six alpha sons buying the town after she buys them each their very own Mail Order Bride for Christmas. None of the brothers are looking for love or lasting relationships, but they go along with their mom’s plan because of their love for her. This book is about her oldest son, Matt and his mail-order bride, Jenna. These two are as opposite as you can get with him being a workaholic button-up lawyer and her being young pink haired punk rock musician. He plans to send her on her way, but the electricity sizzles between the two immediately. This is an intriguing steamy insta-love romance with a surprise gift for Matt and Jenna. I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for voluntarily writing an honest review.

Their Adventures To A Forever - Jenna was apprehensive when she agreed to her grandparents request to at leat meet the man they had chosen as her Mail-Order husband, but what she didn’t expect was to meet a gorgeous hunk. Matt didn’t know what to expect when his mum told him what she had done, but he was pleasantly surprised when he laid eyes on Jenna. Their rapport was great and their chemistry was palpable, but it would take them getting to know each other well and working together for what they both want, for them to get their happily ever after.

I really enjoyed this story by S.E. Law. It was part of an anthology last year but the author has released it on its own this year. It was a great story. I loved the interactions between Matt and Jenna.
Jenna has been traveling the US touring with her band. She loves the nomad life but her grandparents have a different idea for her. They signed her up for Mail-Order Brides for Christmas. Matt and his brothers need to pool their money to buy their town but there is one catch... they have to be married. Their mom signs them up for Mail-Order Brides for Christmas. Matt is a lawyer and the opposite of Jenna but they have connected from the beginning. Will they realize that they were meant to be together?
I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.

This is an great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This story will definitely get you in the holiday spirit. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
Matt is cajoled by his mom after being informed of a clause in a purchasing contract to use the services of a mail-order bride company. Not knowing what to expect, he is pleasantly surprised by Jenna and her pink hair and animal print clothing.
Jenna is on hiatus from touring with her band. Tired and a bit restless, she is shocked that her grandparents would sign her up to be a mail-order bride. But her love for them has her at least deciding to meet Matt, if only to walk away. However, he exceeds all her expectations and then some.
Short, sweet and Christmas-themed, this instalove romance makes for easy, quick and enjoyable reading.
Wow. Where can I get me a Matt? Jenna is having fun with her band, but her Grandparents are worried about her future and sign her up to be a mail order bride. She is shocked she has a match in Montana and has to fly there to meet him. Matt is an eligible bachelor who loves his work. His meddling Mum signs him up for the same service and he is paired with Jenna. From the moment they meet there is no awkwardness and there is an instant attraction. This book has a fab story with plenty of heat. Highly recommended.
Such a well written, entertaining book. Amazing how two people who have so much in common but are at the moment in two different places in their work. Her in a band and him a lawyer. She becomes a mail order bride to please a family member. She thinks he is stuffy and he thinks she is a wild child. Well things change a lot after the interactions of the first few days. Wow wait and see what happens next. I haven't read the other 4 yet and maybe will. I just love this author's books. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
This adorable story kept me glued to it. Jenna is in a girl band and Matt is a lawyer. When they are informed that they are signed up for a mail order program things become interesting. When they meet it is love at first sight but do they have what it takes to make it all the way to a happily ever after. This story will have you cheering for this couple to do so! I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
Another mistletoe brother finds his hea. Matt is a lawyer and like his brothers, has to marry to save the town from being bought by a large corporation. Jenna is the one he’s being looking for without realising it. She’s is a carefree singer and total opposites but it works. Liked the writing and the characters.
Jenna and Matt are being setup by their family through a matchmaker. What surprises them is their match. Matt is nothing like the straight laced lawyer Jenna was expecting and Jenna is so much more then Matt could for in a wife. Together they find a love neither expects but both welcome.
He's the oldest and the first to meet his bride. It starts off in July. Editing needed. What happened to her grandparents? They're never mentioned after the first two chapters. The previous books had them married right off the plane, just before Christmas. It's a rather funny story because you wouldn't think they were compatible.
Short read that packs a bit of a punch. Liked the couple, he’s older she’s younger and it’s an instant romance. Downside to story…Starts off with her grandparents signing her up but then they’re never mentioned again, she’s also kind of immature but it seems to work. Good short read
This was good. Jenna fell hard for Matt. She was surprised about what her grandparents did but in the end it worked out. The bonus epilogue was kind of weird. I wonder why Nate didn’t have a story all the other brothers did? Good read.
I hadn’t realized before starting this that it was part of an anthology last year and that I read it already. However I loved it then and enjoyed it just as much this time around too.
I received this book as an ARC copy and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Jenna and Matt are the featured pairing in this instalment of the Mail Order Brides for Christmas series. While they may seems like complete opposites and incompatible, fate has other ideas. Loved the storyline, characters, NSFW scenes and the HEA of fantastic!
Omg they are absolutely adorable!!!! Their story was so cute and very open!!!! I love how the author incorporates real life scenarios in her book!!!!! Like Jenna getting pregnant and worrying what it will do to her career because she’s a woman!!!!!
Unexpected Romance ~ What a fantastic story. Loved all the descriptions! Do yourself a favor and get the extended epilogue! It was smokin hot, a perfect addition to this sweet but not sappy, falling into love unexpected romance. Loved it!
I absolutely loved this book ive never read anything by this author but i found everything on point from the storyline too the romance and the spectacular characters a great stoty.
This is a light story about a modern day mail order bride. She's a touring rock singer and he's a small town Montana lawyer. On the surface, they don't have much in common, but they make it work.
