Three sizzling stories of immortal Greek goddesses and the women they love today.
Soulmates, magic, and loyalty.
HESTIA
Suppose you were seduced by an immortal Goddess today.
And discover she has devoted herself faithfully to you for centuries, but you don’t remember past life details. What would you do?
Eighteen-year-old Lauren has survived school in her small town, just about. She’s never had a girlfriend, and she doesn’t have a life plan. She does have the devotion of an immortal Goddess.
Hestia might well be the first of the Olympian gods, but her job has been to keep the home fires burning, which means she doesn’t get out much. She doesn’t mind staying in, but it wasn’t the same when her soulmate went missing for hundreds of years.
When they reunite, their passion and desire are enough to light more fires.
CORBY
In her dreams, Corby has no inhibitions. When she meets the woman of her dreams, she has the confidence to do all those things and more.
Corby is not afraid of taking risks, but to give up everything for a new life in a strange land all for the love of a woman may be a step too far.
Blessed by the ancient gods of Olympus, Vick is the raven princess.
Her people, the Corax, have a long history and many traditions. They also have huge black wings for when they need to fly.
Vick didn’t expect to find love through a chance encounter, but she can’t argue with the pull toward her soulmate.
AEGLE
A sizzling enemies to lovers lesbian romance.
Jade is a flirt. She can’t help it. She doesn’t even realize she’s doing it most of the time. Eventually, she’d like to find her soulmate, but right now she’s young and still in college.
Cocky and sure of herself. Angie is hot, sexy, rich, and ten years older. She’s an arrogant landowner who won’t listen to reason or crazy arguments about protecting the forest.
Development around the small town of Beaumont threatens the woods with destruction. Jade knows the danger in the forest. It’s all too easy for someone to slip through to another dimension and disappear from our world completely.
When Jade tries to bargain with Angie, things go very wrong.
Both women find out more about ancient Olympia than they bargained for
Aegle is a Sizzling HOT steamy erotic F/F lesfic fantasy with a happy ending and no cheating and no cliffhanger.
It is book three in the Sapphic Soulmates series featuring powerful women and the ladies who love them.
Aegle can be read as a standalone but will make more sense if read after the other two books as there is a continuing story.
The three stories were first published as separate volumes in 2018.
This book actually combines three novellas. Although the stories are set in the same world, I'm unsure if there's any overlap, as I only made it partway into the second book before moving on.
The first book was alright. It revolves around soulmates, resulting in instant lust and love. While the story is decently written, not much really happens. Given its brevity, this was acceptable.
The second story appeared to be following a similar pattern: the main character encounters a mysterious woman, feels an inexplicable connection, and, predictably, spicy times ensue (including a 🤛 scene in both stories 🤔🫣). The main character is left wondering what's happening but knows this mystery woman means everything to her, etc.
In any case, there simply isn't enough plot to keep me engaged, so I'm moving on to my next book. However, I must sat that the author possesses a strong writing style; they just need to inject more substance into the story.
2.5 stars. This was fine. I honestly shouldn't have finished it, because I really wasn't that engaged while reading it, but, you know. My reluctance to DNF strikes again! Once I'm more than halfway through something, it's so hard to justify putting it down, you know?? And you never know when something might pleasantly surprise you in the second half! This, alas, didn't. It's three interconnected f/f novellas about human women meeting their soulmates. Inspired by Greek myth, low on plot, pretty steamy. I can't say I have many complaints but this truly just didn't do anything for me. Shame!
I always had a soft spot for gods and goddesses so this book was a bit of a guilty pleasure. I enjoyed that the three stories overlapped in some way... with character arcs from the previous story building into the arc of the character in the next. Three ladies finding their soulmates in a hundred acre wood that no Christopher Robbin is allowed in- that's for sure. There were steamy moments, there was angst, a bit of enemy to lover, outcast to soulmate and more. The last tale- for those on the more fluid/pan spectrum was enjoyable to even if voyeuristic or swinging isn't your thing. This author has her thumb in lots of pies and I suggest giving it a go- try 'em all!

Previously published separately, these short tales are better read as a collective. The storylines cover the love between three immortal Greek goddesses and three women in our world today. With titillating dream scenes, these emotional takes on Greek mythology have angst, sex, intrigue and a HEA. Greek goddesses and the modern women they love - what's not enjoy!
I rec'd a copy from Booksprout and this is an unbiased, voluntary review.
This was 3 separate stories, but all connected by the location and friendships. It was delightful to see such different styles of relationships and romance portrayed, especially in a fantasy setting. I hope there are more stories about these women. Especially since we need the royal wedding! :)
The trilogy is really good. The first Hestia had re read nothing like reading about a goddess and her soul mate Lauren. The second is Corby. I love the fact that her soul mate Vick the Princess of Ravens . It's very fascinating. The last Jade and Angie, who is a demigod also. The last was really hot.
This was a wonderfully done collection of stories, the characters were great and the stories were interesting. It was a great romance story and I look forward to more from the author.

Sapphic Soulmates by Helen Jayne makes for a great read. Three books in one is an awesome bonus. The stories are charming, and Hestia is my favourite overall.

These stories were incredibly well-written and sexy! I absolutely adored the first one, Heista. There is just something about eternal love that always makes me swoon. I'd love to read more from Helen Jayne, and I look forward to seeing what she comes up with next.
